Incompetent and revenue padding. My money would have been better spent if Id left my cat at home for the day and checked myself in to Greenfield's to have Dr. Donothing lobotomize me instead. I brought my 10-year-old cat in with two clearly stated goals: 1.Bloodwork 2.Refill his prescribed medicated ear drops None of these objectives were fulfilled, but I walked away paying 300 dollars. Yes, that's 300 dollars to not get what I came there for and get services I DIDNT ask for. I was also advised to book ANOTHER appointment to ACTUALLY get those objectives fulfilled. I love my cat and money is no object in that love, but if you're going to rip me off AT LEAST provide the care. Bloodwork: My cat is well-behaved at vet visits and always has been. During the exam, he was restrained very aggressively from the start. I mentioned that level of restraint wasn't necessary. My advice on his handling was dismissed. Unsurprisingly, he became stressed. They then took him to another room for bloodwork. I asked to accompany him and was told I couldn't. When they returned, they said they were unable to draw blood and that I'd need to schedule another appointment. Despite this, I was still charged, and told I would need to pay again when I return. I had already taken time off work for this visit. Ear drops refill: My cat recently had an ear cytology done at another vet (Thrive -- great experience there). The results were sent over, and I was advised I could request the refill through Greenfield since they're closer and listed as his primary vet. Instead of referencing his recent records as discussed, they performed another ear cytology without informing me beforehand. I only found out when I was billed. To make matters worse, the drops I was given were not his prescribed medicated drops. They were over-the-counter, bullshit ear drops that have nothing to do with his cytology results?!? Something I did not ask for, but could purchase myself from Amazon, and I was charged clinic pricing for them. Thanks for nothing, bozos! I'll have Thrive do it. read more

I've been a regular at this vet for several decades, but am now looking at leaving them. They've changed a lot over the years, and not for the better. The regular vets there I used to see have left over the past couple years and the new ones that are there are seemingly less compassionate and less friendly. They're also harder to set up an appointment with them preferring several weeks ahead and though they sometimes take in emergency visits, they still want an appointment and charge $$$ for just that visit. They're not a place to take a sick animal no matter how sick, preferring you go to elsewhere instead. Another peeve of mine are they can be understaffed and will close early or reschedule appointments made that day. Last, but not least, they STILL run a COVID message on their answering machine from time to time many years later. WTF? Other vet I'm considering? Pitman Animal Hospital! Very compassionate, easy to get appointments, and will take care of pet if sick. read more

I have used Greenfields for over 20 years. They have always been professional, knowledgeable and compassionate. All 3 of my dogs have specialized issues and they have helped guide me through their treatment and did so in a way that let us know they truly cared about them. I had gone there since when they still had the old hospital. Then Dr. Beyer took over and built the new hospital. I've never had a complaint of how my pets were treated. Dr. Lafferty was awesome!! She was the most compassionate and smartest vet I know. Since Lafferty left and Beyer retired, price went up and reviews have gotten worse. I now have a rescued cat that I take to New Hope Animal Wellness Center in Woodbury. Their fees are much more manageable and they really love animals, too. read more

Recently made this my dogs vet and we're not happy with our experience. The vet was nice and the staff were ok. The real problem is that they didn't quote us for all the shots my dog got and it ended up coming up to $524!!! The tech came in and was apologizing but they should have quoted us first!! Then when we got home we noticed we were double charged by them and when I called the person who answered the phone said "what exactly were you double charged for!?" And they acted like they didn't understand...they also said that they refunded the money and to call our bank, so it's been a mess. We ending up being charged over $1000 in shots...I just moved here but will probably switch vets soon after my dog gets her booster from this place. It's way too expensive, they're incompetent, and they don't keep you well-informed while you're there. read more

Godsend I meant to post this on Yelp In December, sorry for the delay. Our dog was bathed at Petsmart the week before Christmas. Our dog had been going to Petsmart for 8 years, since he was a puppy. He has sensitive skin, no cologne was to be used on him. What we didn't know, the individual who grooms our dog, wasn't in that day. They'd called, but I thought it was to confirm his appointment. When I got there, our groomer didn't come out as usual, I mentioned who Harley was there for, no one told me she wasn't there. When I picked up our dog and left the tip, mentioning her name again, no one informed me she wasn't there. The day after our dog was bathed, I noticed some of his hair around the house. The following day, I noticed more, a lot more and he wouldn't let me touch him. I called Petsmart to find out what they'd used on our dog. While I was on hold with the store, waiting to find out what they used, I was disconnected (there phone system hangs up on you when they close)! I called the following day, spoke with a manager. He arranged for me to bring Harley in to Banfield's Vetenarian. I took his hair with me so they could see what was going on, the tech said she didn't need it. I should of just brought Harley back home, right then. They informed me that Harley had fleas, I bought their medication just as a precaution. While there, I stopped in and saw our groomer. Told her what they said, she agreed with me that Harley, didn't have fleas, that's when I was informed that she wasn't in that day. The following day, Harley's appetite was off, he wasn't eating his normal amount of food. That's when I googled for a vetenarian's office still opened in our area. Thank GOD, you were Open. Harley had an infection in his tail and rear leg. The staff was so NICE and COMPASSIONATE, Harley wasn't nervous with them. He was wagging his tail as they were clearing the hair from the infected areas. We are so relieved that we found a Veterinarian's Office that took him so quickly and properly treated him. Thank you so much for all that you did for our dog, as he is part of our family. read more

I have always taken my pets here. They helped me decide when it was time to let go of my precious kitty and really helped me during the whole process. No wait in the waiting room for the euthanasia appointment. I definitely felt that the vet and vet tech both sincerely felt me and my husbands pain. Kind of feel extorted after we were denied medication refills for a chromic condition until I dropped $450 on tests to confirm that he still has a chronic condition. I had a cancer scare with my 10 year old cat a few months ago and Greenfields couldn't have handled it better. The vet called me several times, each step along the way. They took care of my girl Chloe -- as much as she hates vets, she was oddly at ease. I'd taken her to 3+ vets asking about a black buildup in her ears. Each vet assured me it was nothing. Greenfields immediately knew it was a yeast infection. I gave her drops for 2 weeks -- clean ears since! If you need a vet in the area, don't hesitate. read more

My dogs have been going for 8+ yrs. Pros: They are great handling the dogs, they definately know what they are doing, they don't over treat or try to sell extra services or products..ect, scheduling is always easy and the wait time is limited, their office hrs are really great too My dogs have been seen for regular checks, and my one had a skin/food allergy. They were able to diagnose quickly so I wasn't constantly going there for more tests, meds trying to find the problem MAJOR PRO: the docs are never too busy to call you back and take the time to listen and explain things. And they call and follow up personally with study and tests. Con they are pricey, maybe a little more than the vet down the road, but again, they know what their doing and I'm confident my dogs are really get great care. read more

I've always had a great experience at Greenfields. Until I saw Yasmin Mahmood. I felt as though she was a salesperson, not actually caring about what I wanted, just about making money. When I told her I wanted to hold off on one thing, she was visibly annoyed. Mind you, I did not say NO to what she was offering, I specifically said I wanted to hold off until the next appt (which would've been in a month.) She proceeded to speak condescendingly the rest of the visit. Finally, to my surprise, she added a prepaid service onto the bill without even asking me. I found out when I went to the counter to pay. Judging from her attitude after I told her I wanted to hold off, it seemed as if adding an extra service to the bill was a form of retaliation. I left there feeling extremely manipulated. That will unfortunately be the last time at Greenfields for both my pets. Sidenote* She took my cat in the back to draw blood. He screamed three times - Louder than I've ever heard before. In the 90's I used to live in the area and I brought my cats there. The last time I brought my cat there, she supposedly jumped down off the table and bit the leg of the table which caused half of the teeth on one side of her mouth to be broken off. I've always believed that was a lie. She was the nicest, most harmless cat ever and she would never do something like that and she had been to this vet many times before. I also believed they lied because if she bit the leg of the table, the teeth in the front of her mouth would have been damaged, not just the teeth on one side of her mouth. To me it looked like they had her on the table and they had some sort of device that fell onto the side of her mouth as she was being held on the table. I don't know if lying is still a practice of theirs, but this is one establishment that should have had their license revoked years ago. read more

Really greyhound savvy! I've vet hopped for years and am very particular about my babies care and do not hesitate to walk out and never look back if I'm a little upset. I'm someone who second guesses and researches everything I am told. Basically a vet's nightmare client! We've been seeing Dr Beyer for a couple years now and her bedside manner is excellent! She answers all of my crazy questions and never makes me feel stupid for asking her opinion on something. Her knowledge of greyhounds is amazing. Even my shy little girl, doesn't shake when she's being examined. We drive 40 minutes to this vet office passing over have a dozen other places. I've taken countless foster dogs here and even one that needed surgery. This dog needed to have both of her eyes removed. Dr Beyer completed the surgery and all of the staff at Greenfields were excellent at keeping me, and the rescue group, advised every step of the way. I was very impressed at the lack of swelling and oozing at the site of the stitches. What I thought was going to be a horrible experience for us all, ended up being very positive and calm. We've never had unnecessary vaccines pushed on us. We've never been advised to have unnecessary dentals. We've never had unnecessary test pushed on us. We are not berated for feeding a prey model diet. As crazy as it sounds, I actually look forward to going to the vet! I know my animals are going to have a positive experience and that I am not going to leave angry. read more

What a wonderful practice! We've been using them for years for our beloved "kids". They've been with us with our pups and when it was time to say good bye and all the times in between. They follow up with each patient. In this day that's unheard of. Expertise, compassion and tremendous customer service makes Greenfield's one of the best choices around. Two paws up!! read more

The staff was very kind and supportive to me and my newly adopted animal through our very brief journey together. The technicians always handled her with care, and the veterinarians themselves were very knowledgeable. I can't say that I had any negative experiences with the office, thought I have switched vets since my pet has passed as this practice is on the expensive side. Though the price makes sense when you factor in the cozy and comfortable environment they provide. They supply a Keurig machine with K-cups and all the necessary supplies, as well as a great spacious waiting room with comfy seating. That certainly is not something I can say for other vet offices I have visited. read more

I've been taking our dog(s) to Greenfields for 10+ years. They have been notably more expensive then others, but we thought it convenient and the service good. We had an experience with our second dog that definitely could have been better, but we considered it a glitch (we had taken our first dog there for @ 8 years and were satisfied). Our second dog was ill from the get go and passed away when just a few weeks old, so I am not sure we ever really thought much of what was or was not done by Greenfields as it was a super emotional time. Sadly now with our 3rd dog (and the pandemic) they are definitely overwhelmed. I understand most vets are these days, but you cannot get through at all on the phone and are urged through a voice recording to complete all communication through the website or text. I have been on hold up to 18 minutes and then told no appointments available for any routine matters for at least 6 weeks and if the need is emergent they provide information on other vet offices you can try - they even volunteer to copy the dog's file to take with you - as in they don't want us coming there anymore???? We will persevere through the yearly physical, but will need to start to look for a practice that is perhaps better staffed and personable. read more

I am so disgusted with Greenfields and I would never go back to them! I am a longtime customer with multiple pets that was loyal to this vet, when I'm at my New Jersey residence. They are an extremely expensive vet, always upselling and recommending tests. I am cool with that, because I do want the best care for my dogs and cats, and I'm fortunate that I'm fairly successful and can afford good care. Also, as a business owner myself, I understand that they are also in business. Over the years, their support staff have generally been friendly and efficient, and I felt confident in their skill. Same could be said, MOSTLY, about the doctors, although a few have had kind of a smart, but callous, "let's get through this fast to make more money" lousy bedside manner. Still, overall I liked them. That was until several months ago when I was out of town on business and a relative of mine was watching one of my cats. He fell ill suddenly, (DURING THE MIDDLE OF REGULAR BUSINESS HOURS!), and we contacted Greenfields with the emergency. They said they didn't have time to see him, (You ladies had time to collect my money over the years, before business got too good and you became arrogant, "fat an happy") Anyway, you first referred us to a hack vet in a town not really close by, (that many years before I had a bad experience with). WE found another vet and and took him there, but after all the tests that day, it turns out he had a hidden congenital lung problem and he passed anyway, that would not have changed. What you DID have time for, is always bombarding my email with marketing BS, the really IMPORTANT part of your practice...lol Greenfields is a disgrace. The concept of a vet that knows and cares about your pet is non existent here. They are smart, corporate people, without compassion or loyalty. Find a vet that knows your name and stay away from these guys! (Yes, they already used the convenient "because of what's going on" excuse. I have been taking my cats to Greenfields for about 4 years. Dr. Beyer is one of the best vets I've ever met: She's kooky, and attentive, and talks to my cats throughout the exam. She never makes you feel rushed through the appointment. I have a cat who thinks he's at the spa with Dr. Beyer. She gives him a full out rub down as she checks his organs and such and he just rolls around like he's getting a professional massage. And, as a fellow cat talker, she doesn't make you feel crazy that you love your pets more than ... well.. most people in the world. The other staff (front desk and vet techs) are fantastic! They also don't rush you and are always polite. The office itself is warm and inviting. There is even a fireplace in the waiting area and complimentary coffee. It almost feels like I'm bringing my cats to a friend's house. Greenfields changes their decorations with the seasons and holidays. It doesn't feel clinical and bleached out. I wish my doctor offices felt like this! Lucky cats. read more

The staff is so inconsiderate and lazy! I've been taking my dog here for 10 years or so. And my dog is petrified of the vet so we have to give him medicine to relax him. Once we walk in, my 125 POUND dog lays on the floor and doesn't get up. So in order to get my dog into the room I have to push him across the tile floor as if my dog is a box of packaged goods, while the staff STANDS there and WATCHES me struggle for 15/20 minutes. And there were multiple times when my MOTHER and 72 year old GRANDMOTHER had to take him. Well this I went a girl I knew started working there and was very nice and for the first time offered to get the stretcher out to help carry him, the stretcher was so easy and only took 30 seconds to get him in the room. I asked how long they had the stretcher for and they said they had it since they been open. So your telling me for the last 10 years your entire staff stood there and watched me or mother and 72 year old grandmother struggle to push my 125 pound dog across the floor like a rag doll? So inconsiderate and lazy to not even offer to help. I would not recommend this vet due to the fact they don't go out of their way to help their patients, when your spending a lot of money for your animals who are apart of your family that you care deeply about, you want to take them to a vet that you know cares about you and your animals, not someone who looks at it as a paycheck and that they're not going to go out of their way to help you and make you feel at home. PATHETIC and a complete disgrace they are. STAY CLEAR OF THEM for which they don't care about you or your animals. read more
