Just an ok anime store, in my opinion. I came down to check it out due to the collaboration they had with Zenless Zone Zero on the first day, WHICH WAS A MISTAKE, but that was more Hoyoverse's fault than their's. I do wish they had something to notify customers/people who participated in the event the limits per day/whether the line was capped or not to save everyone the pain of waiting. I know that's on the employees with Hoyoverse but still... The store is small with a limited amount of merch. I saw a bunch of funko's and some trading cards. I only stopped by to buy some ZZZ merch from the collab, but it was pretty quick despite the crowd.

Had a wonderful selection and the staff were really nice. Got everything we were looking for and more!

It's SMALLER on the INSIDE! I'll admit I enjoyed the modern look of the store and clean floors. However, I took a look at this shop to inspect what kind of anime merch they had and found stickers for $6.99 each! We're talking normal sized, Stanley cup-sized stickers. Sure, they had Japanese writing and they were from Pokemon but nowhere in this store did it say any of their merch is imported. I don't think it's fair to charge your customers insane prices like that. Anime Station focuses on the big anime titles everyone knows about and is primarily Funko-focused which I appreciate. The prices for the Pops were a little pricey too. I didn't buy anything because I got the vibe that some things were counterfeit. The worker wasn't very friendly either so I went elsewhere.

It's so cute in here. Robin was so nice and welcoming. When we came in, immediately we saw Apothecary Diaries playing on the TV and a bunch of blind boxes that I've been collecting recently to check out. My friend and I met over Haikyuu and saw a lot of their merch to check out as well.

Cute little shop featuring most of the mainstream and some indie anime/Manga. It is a small shop but fill to the brim with so much merchandises. There is a large statue of Ace from One Piece. That was the draw; why I even came here. I heard about this place from one of the IG influencer I follow and was excited to come check it out. There are mystery bags for sale that tempted me but I ended up getting something small that can fit in my carry on bag and not fragile. There are so much options available that anyone would be happy here if you are an Otaku. Highly recommend!

the perfect place to find a unique gift for a baby or big kid. I bring my little ones too and they have a blast playing there! Great selections! and affordable price !is easy to find the store when you visit little tokyo! right next to somisomi ice cream shop and have a huge stuffed bear ballon outside! Recommended!

Alright store. Mostly shonen and more casual series (Naruto, JJK, Demon Slayer, DBZ, MHA, etc). Prize figures, plushies, keychains, and the like. There's a plushie mirror inside for photo opportunities and they play anime in the background near the cashier. It's neat that they've renovated and re-opened and are trying to foster the anime community with their store (cosplay gathering, contest, Discord, events, etc). They only had 2 Fate items there. One was a Fate Extella mini figurine blind box. Unfortunately it didn't have the Type Moon official seal and logo, meaning that it's bootleg (on top of the low quality box), so I can't say that everything in this shop is the real deal. Maybe nice to look through, but there are better options in Little Tokyo.

My daughter and I visited this shop a couple of weeks ago. It was clean, not crowded and the employees wore masks. The products that the store sold seemed to be fan art, as some other reviews have stated. My daughter didn't mind and purchased a lanyard with JoJo's Bizarre Adventure characters. We love JoJo's Bizarre Adventure so I was shocked when my daughter told me the price of the lanyard. After closer inspection, I did notice that some of the drawings on the lanyard were not 'canon' and were fanart pictures. The store is in a good location in Little Tokyo. We didn't have much time when visiting this day but next time we intent to visit other similar stores nearby.

No, I'm not a fan, but Big Bro and his kids are. They came through for a visit and there were a few stores they wanted to hit at J-town. This was one of them. My niece is a huge fan of pop vinyl figures and they had a decent (albeit small) selection. It is a small store but there is plenty to look at. They even have this decorated full body mirror for selfie photo-ops. I took time to look at every corner and found a few interesting things but nothing I wanted bad enough to purchase. (Big Bro and fam ended up with a few things, though!) And with good timing, NesQuik teamed up with them for a promo: free bottle for every $10 spent. It's one of a few stores I'd recommend to check out if you're into anime.

My grandson spent about $100 at the store and was pretty happy with his statue purchases, so all in all I'd say it was pretty good.

They have a lot of obscure figurines and collectibles here. The staff is helpful and the novelty of the store is pretty cool. I still think you're better going off to frank and son if you're looking for hobby/collectible things. Still a cool store to stop by and check out if you're in Little Tokyo.

They open at 12:00 PM, but people start lining up well before that. Thankfully, I went on a Wednesday, so I didn't have to wait very long. Once you get inside, they hand you a ticket, and you are watched like a hawk as you wander through the store. The store is super cute inside with tons to look at, though it is heavily dominated by Sonic and Persona merch. They have a lot of items that are usually only sold in Japan, which means they are imported--and priced accordingly. The prices here are sky-high, so I wouldn't recommend planning a massive shopping spree unless you want to empty your wallet. I ended up only purchasing one item: a little Shadow the Hedgehog plushy for $20. Why I'm Knocking Off Stars : The service here was almost nonexistent. While the girl at the door handing out tickets was friendly enough, the cashiers were a different story. When my friend and I went up to the register to pay, the two employees working there were chatting away as if they were having the time of their lives. We stood there staring at them for almost three minutes before I finally had to speak up and say, "Excuse me, may I please purchase this?" They both looked up with frowns on their faces, staring at me like I had just interrupted the most important, intimate conversation of their lives. It was so bizarre--you'd think they'd be happy to ring up a customer! Instead, the guy just silently muttered "register," grabbed my item, and rang me up without saying another word. It was incredibly clear he just wanted to get me out of there as fast as possible to get back to his conversation with his coworker. It left a really bad impression. It's a very cute shop and definitely worth a quick visit just to see everything. If you decide to go, my biggest recommendation is to go on a weekday around 11:30 AM so you can be one of the first in line and avoid a massive wait! Just don't expect much from the staff at checkout.

The reason why I'm giving it a 3 out of 5 is because of a bad experience today with the door person. We came in today, July 19th around the afternoon, about 3-4 PM. I understand their bag policy, it sucks but what can you do. We were very compliant with the doorman, but he seemed to have an attitude. Listen man, I get that it's hot and you may be having a day, but that doesn't mean you get to be rude. We went in, and immediately he needed to take our bags. We complied cause it's policy, and I politely told him "oh I have a small bag!" As in to tell him we have another bag to give him. He took it the wrong way and said "trust me I don't want to take it more than you do" under his breath. Buddy, I can hear you. I didn't even say it in a rude way, I'm just informing you that there was another bag. Whatever, we handed all our bags over, one of which was a bag carrying some merchandise (mainly some posters we purchased from another event we came from) mind you, there was 4 posters from a limited time event in there, worth $65. He asked "what's in the bag" all judgmental, like buddy, I get you need to know so you know where to place it on the shelf, but there is such a thing as asking in a nicer way like "is there anything delicate in here" or such. I told him it was some posters I had got. So. TELL ME WHY THIS GUY PUT THE BAG WITH THE POSTERS LAYING FLAT DOWN FIRST AND THEN PROCEEDED TO PUT OUR HEAVY BACKPACK AND OUR SMALLER BAG ON TOP OF IT. BUDDY. YOU ARE USING A METAL RACK SHELF, AND PUTTING HEAVY ITEMS ON TOP OF PAPER. SOME OF IT WAS EVEN ON THE EDGE SO YOU'RE ACTIVELY CREASING AND BENDING MY BELONGINGS. Anyone should know if you have anything fragile like posters, you would put it on top of the other bags so they do not get folded or creased or get and indents. I quickly told him if he can put the bag with the posters on top because I don't want them to get creased or bent. He doesn't say anything and just quickly does it, but he made a face. Buddy, if you don't like your job or can't do it well enough to know common sense like not putting delicates under heavy items, quit and go find something else, and leave your attitude at the OUTSIDE the door. I went home after this, and saw that all of four of my posters were creased in the same spot, coincidentally the same spot that was bent over the edge of the shelf. I don't care if they're posters and they can be replaced, not everyone has the luxury to replace broke items, especially not limited ones, I spent my hard earned money on it for it to be permanently ruined by some boy who doesn't care about other people's belongings despite being entrusted to handle them. Anyways, come for the merch! But maybe leave your valuables someplace where you know they'll be safe from damage.
