i remember coming a few years back and really appreciating the range of stuff they had. unfortunately, it feels a lot more limited now, with mostly blind bags, funkos/figures, and gachapon things. if that's your thing, then this is definitely the store for you, but lately i just haven't been able to find anything for myself that makes me want to come back. the store employees have always been nice though! it also gets kind of uncomfortably warm in the store, which takes away from the experience a bit and makes me more eager to leave the store than stay and browse. read more

Just an ok anime store, in my opinion. I came down to check it out due to the collaboration they had with Zenless Zone Zero on the first day, WHICH WAS A MISTAKE, but that was more Hoyoverse's fault than their's. I do wish they had something to notify customers/people who participated in the event the limits per day/whether the line was capped or not to save everyone the pain of waiting. I know that's on the employees with Hoyoverse but still... The store is small with a limited amount of merch. I saw a bunch of funko's and some trading cards. I only stopped by to buy some ZZZ merch from the collab, but it was pretty quick despite the crowd. read more

It's SMALLER on the INSIDE! I'll admit I enjoyed the modern look of the store and clean floors. However, I took a look at this shop to inspect what kind of anime merch they had and found stickers for $6.99 each! We're talking normal sized, Stanley cup-sized stickers. Sure, they had Japanese writing and they were from Pokemon but nowhere in this store did it say any of their merch is imported. I don't think it's fair to charge your customers insane prices like that. Anime Station focuses on the big anime titles everyone knows about and is primarily Funko-focused which I appreciate. The prices for the Pops were a little pricey too. I didn't buy anything because I got the vibe that some things were counterfeit. The worker wasn't very friendly either so I went elsewhere. read more

Cute little shop featuring most of the mainstream and some indie anime/Manga. It is a small shop but fill to the brim with so much merchandises. There is a large statue of Ace from One Piece. That was the draw; why I even came here. I heard about this place from one of the IG influencer I follow and was excited to come check it out. There are mystery bags for sale that tempted me but I ended up getting something small that can fit in my carry on bag and not fragile. There are so much options available that anyone would be happy here if you are an Otaku. Highly recommend! read more

The BEST PLACE for mystery bags. This place is my go-to for figures and just anything anime. Their selection is great. We've gotten some of the Demon Slayer mystery bags and they are always a GREAT selection. The staff is friendly and accommodating and the pricing is pretty fair especially considering some places uncharge by a lot. They also have some capsule toy machines! Just a great stop if you are an anime junkie :) read more

Alright store. Mostly shonen and more casual series (Naruto, JJK, Demon Slayer, DBZ, MHA, etc). Prize figures, plushies, keychains, and the like. There's a plushie mirror inside for photo opportunities and they play anime in the background near the cashier. It's neat that they've renovated and re-opened and are trying to foster the anime community with their store (cosplay gathering, contest, Discord, events, etc). They only had 2 Fate items there. One was a Fate Extella mini figurine blind box. Unfortunately it didn't have the Type Moon official seal and logo, meaning that it's bootleg (on top of the low quality box), so I can't say that everything in this shop is the real deal. Maybe nice to look through, but there are better options in Little Tokyo. read more

My daughter and I visited this shop a couple of weeks ago. It was clean, not crowded and the employees wore masks. The products that the store sold seemed to be fan art, as some other reviews have stated. My daughter didn't mind and purchased a lanyard with JoJo's Bizarre Adventure characters. We love JoJo's Bizarre Adventure so I was shocked when my daughter told me the price of the lanyard. After closer inspection, I did notice that some of the drawings on the lanyard were not 'canon' and were fanart pictures. The store is in a good location in Little Tokyo. No, I'm not a fan, but Big Bro and his kids are. They came through for a visit and there were a few stores they wanted to hit at J-town. This was one of them. My niece is a huge fan of pop vinyl figures and they had a decent (albeit small) selection. It is a small store but there is plenty to look at. They even have this decorated full body mirror for selfie photo-ops. I took time to look at every corner and found a few interesting things but nothing I wanted bad enough to purchase. (Big Bro and fam ended up with a few things, though!) And with good timing, NesQuik teamed up with them for a promo: free bottle for every $10 spent. It's one of a few stores I'd recommend to check out if you're into anime. read more

My daughter was so excited for their token machine, so we bought 2 of the balls- one for $7 (3 tokens) and the other for $5 (2 tokens). However, I feel like we got TOTALLY SCAMMED for the 3 token machine! The photo made it seem like you were getting a build it yourself style Sanrio toy, but it's a freaking STICKER ON A PLASTIC CARD!! $7 for a small build it yourself toy seemed somewhat reasonable but a print on a sticker of a build it yourself toy is such a joke. What a scam, what a scam, what a scam. It bothered me so much, I decided to bring it up to the store because WHAT A SCAM but they said nothing could be done since we "opened the ball"- but how would you know the scam happened unless you saw it? I don't know man.... Buyer beware here. There's lots of other anime shops in the area that I haven't gotten the wool pulled over my eyes at, so yeah maybe avoid this one. If you're into anime, you are going to LOVE this place!! Located around the center of Little Tokyo across from SOMI SOMI. There's definitely a lot of see ranging from Keychains, pillows, figurines, lanyards to small-large posters, mystery bags, pins, earrings, pop sockets, and anime-inspired clothing!! All the items are cute! I was thinking of getting a Gojo Pillow for my brother but it was $32.00, but then again it's downtown LA and since everything is reopening the prices will be expensive. I got the Demon Slayer mystery bag for $18.00 and I think it's worth it because I got 6 items and they are fantastic! The total of the 6 items is definitely worth more than $18 and every mystery bag comes with 5-10 items and there are different themes... SO GO GET IT DEF WORTH IT!! The 6 items I got were the Tanjiro lanyard, Rengoku figurine, gudatama post-its, Mushroom Eraser gel pen, Nezuko Keychain, and coin pouch! * Very friendly and helpful employees. * Due to the pandemic, there's only 10 people in the store at a time. You know, I didn't realize how bad their bootleg issue was until I looked into them more and visited again. They have tons of merchandise and I'd say a solid 50% is counterfeit -- none of which is labeled. Although they do have a no-photography policy which is probably in place to stop people from getting the word out that they sell bootlegged merchandise They do have some official merchandise, but I'd steer clear and go to Anime Hobby Jungle just down the road read more

I came across this shop accidentally and I loved it instantly they had all my favorite animes DBZ,Naruto, and my Hero, would be cool if they sold Gundam too, prices were way better than all the other anime shops around. When shopping at this store,i was impressed at the customer service. They were on top of all my needs and were also very much quite knowledgable in the different animes. I had bought my first 2 figures on my first visit, it was two different designs of Vegeta. I find myself to be quite indecisive person, so that is where there amazing customer service came into play. I was very happy to have perfect looking figures. They were in good quality and a decent size. I was honestly scared that the figures would have some kind of damage or missing piece but that was not the case. I would really recommend this place to anyone kids and adults, it is a fun and respectable environment for both. read more

Probably the worst store in Little Tokyo. They just sell cheap quality knock off made in China items that are not authentic whatsoever. They sell extremely basic items you can find anywhere except they charge twice as much for it. Ultimately if you have zero knowledge of anime/manga or are 6-12 years old I'm sure you'll love this store. If you shop here you deserve no respect lol. A hidden gem!! I saw the store from across the street and I went in to see what they had. I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of cute stuff they had!! Theres so many knick knacks and i feel like everyone can find something they love because there's so much more than anime stuff. I got a cute phone case for my mom and a couple of dragon ball z stickers for my boyfriend for super cheap just in time for the holidays also amazing staff! They don't tailgate you like other stores sometimes do and were super helpful. read more
