Lucky cat and daruma statue at entrance of store

Blind boxes galore at this fun and exciting shop! Weekends are popular; however, you can still shop with ease and take in all the fun merchandise. They carry a plethora of IPs from different brands, which makes it a one stop shop for all your blind box needs! They offer different discounts on certain items so I'm sure you can find some fun targets.

This is such a fun store that opens earlier than the other ones in the Japanese Village Plaza. There are so many Pokemon plushies (I want, but I have no room for these!) and big selections of blind boxes. There was one on display but not on the shelves. The lady kindly went to their storage room and found the blind box that I was interested in. There are also plenty of souvenirs if you're not really into the anime stuff. Parking is available in the parking garage on 111 S Central Ave ($4 every 15 minutes or $20 max).

I get my first wild but cutie, I got neon cutie it's so cute and I love it!!

It's my first time to shop at Maneki Neko I always pass by in that area whenever I go to LA ride on the merto train A or E lines train to go there. So I buy one blind box of wild but cutie to treat myself to get one as my first collection of wild but cutie cats, and I got neon cutie I love it it's so cute! For the blind boxes you can't find any of your favorite collectors items at Popmart it's always sold out. The workers were amazing, so kind and friendly with a smile! I will shop there again whenever I want to go there for bind boxes or any other items!!

Our family loves collecting pressed pennies, and this gift shop has a Little Tokyo machine. While it costs $1.01, compared to the usual 51 cents, our son really enjoyed making his pennies, so it was worth it.

I came back to visit again, and they have way more stuff now than ever! Stock full of blind boxes and figures! Plushies and more! I love this place a lot! It's my favorite gift shop to go to when I'm here at the Japanese Village Plaza. It's a must and alway go here whenever I'm here. Overall a lot of cool items. AND THE SERVICE WAS GREAT! The shop owner, lady who cashed us out was SO NICE AND FRIENDLY. She was very patient with us making payment and she was very cheerful! Delightful experience as always!

Another cutesy shop filled with so much cute Japanese plushies, stationery, games, figurines and more. We went in to browse the options and soak in the AC (to get out of the heat). There was some cute plushie that I wanted but was wayyy too big to fit in my luggage and I didn't want to carry it while walking around the plaza. I did end up getting a small, cool looking umbrella that looks like a sword. Zoro from One Piece umbrella. Make sure to bring enough money or credit card to pay because you will want to spend it here at the shop and browsing the plaza.

This place has a lot of figures and blind boxes. Wasn't as crowded as the other spots. Similar layout. It was cool, just a but chaotic. But thats because it was weekend so there were a lot if people.

    Instagram no limit confirmation

Service was off but staff was sweet and kind. They have some of the popular viral Labubu behind counter but extremely overpriced. Rest of the store has tons of other blind boxes and kawaii items. Kids and adults would love this shop. I hurried to Little Tokyo when I saw on their Instagram page that they were going to have The Monsters x One Piece. Business actually messaged me back when I asked if there was a limit on purchase and they assured there wasn't. They confirmed that although online quantity was sold out, they would have them in the Little Tokyo location the next day. I arrived to Japanese Village Plaza a little over 25 minutes before they actually opened and waited right in front. When staff arrived to open up shop they said they don't know what I was talking about, I showed them pictures. They repeated that if they don't have it, they don't have it. I pressed them on contacting business owner and/or their manager as it wasn't fair that we waited to make sure to get our hands on the limited supply of The Monsters x One Piece. It wasn't just myself, there was a handful of other people that wanted and waited for these before shop opened. 40 minutes after opening they finally got a hold of someone and they agreed to hold the quantity we wanted and gave us a call back when their shipment arrived. Shipment arrived over an hour after opening. I stayed around as it wouldn't make sense for me to travel back to where I came from and come back (traffic, distance, time). Luckily, it didn't take too long.

Nice store with great selections! Great place for blind boxes, they're half the price as Tokyo Japanese Lifestyle across the street.

TLDR: felt like a superhero when I found this pin. Just one of the many cute shops in Little Tokyo. There were quite a bit of people inside, but I was able to find a really cute pin that came home with me. They have a bunch of pins, + really anything, inside for $2 and this pin for sure made me feel like a superhero. Be sure to check out their teacups outside!

Apparently they have a long standing history in LA, having opened in 1946 after World War II. The shop occupies the site of the first Japanese-owned business in Los Angeles, circa 1890's. Pretty cool! I have a soft spot for everything animal shaped and soo.... I picked up a fun/odd felt tiger Christmas ornament, a cat pen, and a super cute bronze cat shaped spoon that hangs on the side of your cup. Did I need it? No.... but it's fun and makes me happy. We were a party of 5 and waited about 15 minutes to get in. The young lady at the door was very sweet and apologized for the wait and long line. She informed us they can only allow specified number of people due to safety. It's a very small shop and everything is in close range. Neko Stop sells a variety of blind boxes and different series with different characters. Plenty to choose from. We did notice many of them are sold out. Customer service at Neko Stop is great. They have sales associate coming around asking if you need help and if there's a specific item you're looking for. Our child found the blind box series our child was looking for. We picked that up along with some stationary set and stickers. There are 2 check out counters and cashiers. The wait for payment wasn't too long, about 5 minutes. I was asked if I wanted a shopping bag by the cashier and I said yes because of all the merchandise we purchased for our child.
