Background info: I am almost 2 months post-surgery from breaking my collarbone and have a 5-6 inch scar where you can feel the rope-like scar tissue texture. My range of motion has been limited and now that I'm starting to walk/workout lower body, my body has been holding onto tension on lower back and upper right side to compensate for not being able to use my left arm so much. I came in as a walk in after checking 3 other surrounding massage places that didn't take me. Today was day 4 of having a severe, consistent headache and I was desperate to see if a massage would help. The woman who helped me was an older woman (I should've asked for name), but was dressed in black and had her hair up. I let her know of the recovering enjoy but was able to tolerate massage in the area (cleared by my PT). I also let her know about the severe headache, lower back pain as well. She was extremely compassionate, caring, and precise. She checked in to make sure the pressure was okay around my injury. I've never had a massage this relieving, this relaxing, this euphoric. When I turned face up, she was diligent; massaging around my surgical area, and gentle yet firm when massaging over the scar itself. It was an emotional experience because I felt seen, cared for, understood. I have been in so much pain but this woman saw me and could just feel how my body was tense and she took care of me. At the end, I couldn't help but give her a hug. I was extremely desperate for relief. She was so sweet and genuine. It was only $66 and I couldn't believe it. For that type of care and attention to detail, I couldn't believe it. If you come here, you will be taken care of. This was my first time and I will 100% come back. Aero, thank you so much. Truly. I look forward to coming back again. Thank you for helping me have more range of motion to my arm, for taking care of my headache, and being compassionate.

I declined because I prefer to tip based on the actual service afterward. After I questioned paying and tipping in advance, the man and woman started talking in another language, which felt uncomfortable and came across as if they were talking badly about us. As for the massage itself, about 80% of the time we were covered and they were massaging over the blankets, which really took away from the comfort and overall experience. They also used cold lotion and oil, which was unpleasant. During the couples massage, they talked back and forth a few times and laughed, and the lights in the room were brighter than expected, so it didn't feel very relaxing. Overall, I'd rate it around a C. If you're just looking for a cheap massage and don't have high expectations, it may work for you, but I would not go back.
