Came here during daylight savings time. They were able to accommodate my partner & I one hour ahead of time since I mistook 9 am as 10 am. We've never had a chinese foot massage before so we were excited and nervous. "What if it wasn't as good as a thai massage?" was the question going through my head. But my husband felt that thai masseuse were a little hard on him (pressure-wise) because of his physique (a little bulky, particularly around the shoulders). When we arrived, we were expected to pay ahead of time, which we obliged. We decided on a combo massage because I wanted a back massage while my husband wanted a foot massage. After we paid, they took us to a room where they place our feet in warm water, then proceeded to dry & massage our foot. We sat there for 30 minutes before moving to another room for a full body massage. Maybe I'm biased since I am chinese but I definitely enjoy this type of massage more than a thai massage. Besides the lady at the front desk, the ladies who gave us massages spoke little to no English so it was a lot of gesturing when we spoke. When I told her that she was putting too much pressure on my back, I just said "ouch! Or ungh!!!" They also expected more than $20 for tip but other than that they were very pleasant and accommodating. There is plenty of parking and close to Brothers Restaurant if you feel like eating lunch/brunch after. This will definitely be our tradition every other month or at least every quarter. read more

I've had 2 massages here now and I think they are wonderful. They are always very kind and I feel so great and relaxed when I leave. This will be one of my regular stops when in the area. I love that you can just walk in without an appointment and get taken care of right away. For this second massage I would have liked a little more attention to my feet as I had asked for the 30min/30 min (half body and half foot massage) but ended up getting more the full body massage. I thought this was Thai Style massage. Instead, it's Chinese. Thai Style massage is a an art known the world over. They know how to methodically and thoroughly de-kink a person. This place....seemed to be "fake Thai" -- including the poles over the table. But good grief, when she was using them, there was so much squeaking and even more troubling noises, I was afraid they would land on my head. She tried hard, but with a 2 hour massage where I said I needed attention to arms and legs--about 30 times--mostly she was doing the breaststroke on my back. After a long week of work and on a hunt for a good massage place, I decided to give Waring Massage Spa a shot! I made an appointment for a combo 30min body massage and 30min foot massage. The receptionist was able to get me scheduled right away, which was great! Upon walking in the spa, it's tidy, clean and the ambiance was very tranquil. They have you pay for the service upfront and have a pricing sheet listed for how much they charge for tips, (hopefully preferred). Minutes after paying, I was walked to my room. I had the first room closest to the reception table and even though it wasn't as loud as I anticipated to be, you could definitely hear customers/staff walking and talking. The massage was amazing but the more time passed, the more I started to realize that perhaps there was a miscommunication between the receptionist and the masseuse. Instead of receiving a combo 30min body and 30min foot massage, I got a 60min full body massage ($40 w/ cash, but I believe I was charged what I initially asked for). It's really bittersweet because I was looking forward to the foot massage most, especially since I am on my feet all day at work. I would highly recommend going over your service order with your masseuse and will definitely do this next time when I return. For the value, it's definitely worth coming in and they give you water after the massage. !!Tip: If you pay with cash, they charge you couple dollars less on their service. I have been going to the spa for many months. They offered an hour long foot service for $30 and I would tip $10 (more than 30%). Because they ask for cash specifically, I would come ready with $40. Recently they increased their cash price to $40, so when I showed up I did not have cash for a tip. While embarrassed, I figured this was a one off and next time I would be aware and come prepared. As I left the shop and got to my car in the parking lot, an employee chased me down, yelling, "You tip, you tip!" She pulled on my sleeve and demanded I come back into the establishment. While tips are appreciated. I always believe them to be optional. This type of rude behavior and harassment of clients is unexpected and unacceptable. I will be finding another spa where I will leave my normal generous tip and appreciation. read more

I had high hopes for this place based on recommendations. Unfortunately I had a pretty negative experience. I had a combination foot and body massage. The foot massage wasn't much better than a pedicure massage. I was just ready for it to be over tbh. And the body massage - oh I wish I'd spoken up and just asked her to stop and left. I like a lot of pressure, but this was excessive. And not once did she ask. Additionally she just kept Rubbing the same place over and over without and kind of rhyme or reason. I felt uncomfortable with the amount of intimacy - at one point she pulled my underwear completely down. I was covered with the thinnest see through sheet and when I asked for a towel I was denied. Within a few hours my back felt bruised and I'm in quite a bit of pain. Today I have a migraine coupled with extreme neck pain. I'm going to have to visit the chiropractor to fix what was done. I came here for the 30 minute foot massage and 60 minute full body massage combo a few weeks back. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the place and enjoyed both massages from Kelly. Kelly did a great job and listened when I asked for more pressure. I can't tell you how often I've been disappointed by massages with too little pressure, but that was not the case with Kelly. The massage rooms are tidy and clean, which is always a good thing to see. They also have incredibly comfortable chairs for you to sit in during the foot massage. As others have mentioned there's a $2 charge for using a credit card, but they let me know that before they ran my card. The only thing that I wasn't too crazy about was the whole tipping thing that other folks mentioned. I don't think there's anything wrong with having a sign with a suggested tip amount, but it should be better displayed so customers can see it. I never even noticed the sign, but as I was filling in a tip amount (about 28%), the girl at the front stopped me and pointed to the sign. It made me feel like my generous tip was not appreciated and ended an otherwise great experience on a not so great note. Walked in for a 90minute full body massage that was well worth it! The linens and massage room was clean and well kept. The deep tissue massage was just the right pressure and smoothed out all my knots and soreness from weeks of heavy weight workouts and running. Masseuse was attentive to my key lower back muscle soreness when I informed her. The back and leg massage where the masseuse hangs from the ceiling bars was impressive. Only things that would've been better was: 1) massage table head rest needs softer cushioning. After 80min laying prone position, my face around eyes and forehead became annoyingly uncomfortable. 2) thin walls, so hall conversations are easily audible. 3) high tipping requirements Front Staff was also friendly. First off, let me say that this business has two Yelp pages. I'm not sure why, but do your homework before making your decision based off of this page. I had a free afternoon and was looking for something to do. My friend and I decided on massages and I gave this place a call. Despite not having their own website, I was able to get good info from other Yelpers. $25 for a 60 minute reflexology massage is the way to go. It was about 30+ minutes on my feet, then the remainder of the time (they did a true hour!) for an over-the-clothes whole body massage. The place looked clean enough. For $25, it's not the Ritz. The massages were good enough. I'm not entirely sure the ladies were professionally trained, but they were good. The only thing that you might sketch on is the payment. They want payment up front, and they have "recommended" tip amounts. $10 for a 60-minute massage is fine with me. Plus there's a $2 credit card charge. So it was $72 for two of us for a full hour each = I'll be back! read more

I come here for HEALING. They are so reasonably priced for such a great massage. Each masseuse has their own style and skill- You will not get the predictable boring massage choreography here! The one time I was dissatisfied with my massage, the Manager (or owner) made sure I had someone great the next time I came in. Their spa is ALWAYS clean and they have been incredible during the pandemic. As a high-risk person who relies on the healing of massage, I felt VERY comfortable in their hands. Her feet massage was just basically rubbing lotion on my feet and legs--not much pressure or actual massaging of muscles. She was also stingy on the lotion so after awhile her rubbing (she uses a latex glove) began to burn a little. I couldn't wait for the feet "massage" to be over. Place looked clean and neat. The prices are nice but they require you to pay a certain amount of tip depending on what you choose. Also you have to pay first before you get your massage. I asked for a medium touch but it felt a bit too soft for me. I would have enjoyed it better if the face pillow was more softer. I did get a mini headache there since I was in pain from my face. There wasn't much cushion in the face pillow. I got a 90 min full body massage and didn't get a foot massage which I found a bit weird. She did give a face massage but she didn't hit under my eyebrows or under my cheekbones where other places I have gone has done so. Me and my roommate went to celebrate Valentine's Day. It was really easy to get a reservation and when we got in, the room was very beautiful and decorated. Our two massage artists were very thorough when they massaged, and very gentle with me which the best! My roommate was very pleased too! I was looking to come in for a relaxing couples massage however the two women massaging us were talking the entire time. I was not able to relax for longer than one minute.
