I'm amending my original review. Z's is under new management now & it appears to have turned into a shady rub-n-tug place. The last time I went in expecting my usual great massage I was coldly approached by a woman who said 'no time for you'. I said ok I'll come back. She had tons of make up on and bright red lipstick and lots of jewelry and a short blue dress on. Not what you would expect in a legitimate spa. She replied 'No one available today'. But yet there were three other scantily clad girls with tons of make up and jewelry on just standing around. Where do I start. I went to Z's to get a 90 min massage and I only got 1hr and ten minutes before she started to clean my back and legs. I started to leave when she said WHAT NO TIP. Some Asian massage places ask you to remove your top so they could lather up your back however in this case they don't do that unless it's a full body massage. And for $20 I'm good with the massage I got. The front desk receptionist did not ask me if I wanted a male or female. She assumed I wanted a male. So whatever I was pressing on time. My feet sat in the hot bucket as he massaged me. I asked for it to be strong aka hard and he did just that. I was pleased with the pressure and to keep it like that throughout the whole massage I just had to tip him $20. In the room, I noticed that it was not as dark but he did put a towel on my eyes. I have not been here in a long time because I thought it had closed. It looks like they are under new management (sign says outside). This is the place to go for no frills. I went for the foot massage. You pay $20 cash walking in the door. You are then taken to a room where you soak your feet while they are working the pressure points on your head. They hit all the pressure points and some lymph node spots. I had gone there to have my stiff neck & shoulders worked on. Not only do I have my knots gone, my arms & hands feel much better (I sit behind a desk all day). I slept so well that I didn't hear my alarm this morning. I do have a massage therapist I see but if I can't get in or need to have minor work done in between - this place is well worth the $20. read more

This place has changed ownership a few times so my experiences have been varied. There have been a couple of times where the masseuse left the room more than once during my service to have a conversation with another employee or to answer the door. Cultural differences or communication, either one, very distracting in a setting that's suppose to be relaxing. As for the prices, they are extremely reasonable at $40 for an hour full body message and $20 for an hour foot (they also do your body). They offer other services but those are the only ones I've experienced. As long as they are not busy, it's a great experience for a great price. My suggestion is to go when it's off peak. One incident was they told me that they did not have time for a foot massage and only had time for the more expensive massage...meaning purchase the more expensive massage or leave. I ended up going with the more expensive option and was not happy, didn't leave as relaxed as I have with the foot massage that I normally get. I'm a little on the fence about this place. I didn't really have a great reflexology treatment, and I know for a fact that they short changed me on my 1 hour massage. I'm familiar with reflexology not being the same as other massage technique so my expectations are never to compare it to anything else but that. So here it is.. A relatively small and clean spot tucked in the corner of a strip mall by McGreggor's. Nothing fancy or nicely decored at that, but also nothing bad to say about it either. As far as the massage, the first part of the experience was a bit poor, truthfully. After a few minutes into it, I asked her to please put extra pressure (I won't break lady..believe me.) yet it remained the same consistency and at times, felt that she was just not really putting any effort, and seemed to just be applying a slight rub and tug. I got there pretty much when they opened, so I'm doubtful she wasn't already exhausted from her day.There were also a few breaks where when she left the room, that it took much too long. The second part was when I had to flip over which concentrated on my back. That was a lot better. A lot. She used her elbow and the bottom of her palm to push in that pressure. I have major, major, maaajor knots throughout; I heard slight snaps and felt the heavy compression she was putting into it. I think it was easier for her since most of what was needed was for to put her weight into it as oppose to her hands doing the work. It hurt so good that the weak first half didn't seem to matter at that point. Now the question is, to return or not. You know that saying "It's not how it starts but how it ends" really may be what makes me come back. Plus for 20 bucks, that's a pretty cheap fix. read more

I went to try this place out since it's 10 minutes away from my work and its my bday gift for my co-worker. So we went right after work and got there few minutes before appointment. There are 2 things that made this experience a 1 Star. While waiting, me and my girlfriend were talking about work and didn't realize that we were talking loud. But as soon as our masseuse came in the room while we were laying on the massage bed, #1 OUR MASSEUSE WONT STOP TALKING TO EACH OTHER. They would even yell at someone outside the room. The masseuse would normally go out of the room to get the wet towels 2x maximum but my masseuse in particular #2 WENT OUT OF THE ROOM MORE THAN TWICE AND FOR LONG PERIODS OF TIME. During the last part of my massage , my masseuse went out and was gone for awhile. And when she came back, she ended my massage at the same time as the other masseuse. I wasn't happy so I was not going to give a big tip but they told me at the counter while writing my tip on the receipt that tip should be at least $10. I didn't want to ruin the birthday of my friend so I just did it. 2/19/17 Just walked in to get an hour foot message for 19.99 (like the sign in the front says.)
