Spring 2020. Don't hire him Joe. Trust our family. He has anger management issues, has a serious racist attitude, he is a male chauvinist, has a bad temper, and is an alpha male. He is extremely combative and aggressive! Look at the poorly rated Google Reviews, BBB, and Yelp! We hired Joe for a tree job and he was the rudest, meanest, most ignorant guy we have ever encountered in our family business! Find someone else! Don't trust his fake charm. My family business will never hire him again. He also overcharged us. He acts ignorant, uneducated, and we are scared of him entering our property ever again. Be careful hiring Joe(Anjoe Tree Service). He just wants your money at any cost. He forced us to pay for his tree services and threatened to leave if we called another company for a quote. And if you tell him you have another quote from another tree company, he will hang up on you like many Google Reviews all over the Internet have indicated. I feel bad for the other people on Yelp that he mistreated. Beware of this bully. My family business wishes we could give Joe at Anjoe Tree Service a 0 rating. The owner Joe can be rude and discriminatory. Yes, we stopped hiring Joe and we stopped doing business with him and now hire On a Limb Tree, Albany Tree Service, or Harmony Tree Service service - 1,000% better. These 3 companies are respectful to their customers and employees. Met with Joe the owner. Gave me a price on the spot for the removal of a gigantic willow tree and a large pine tree next to the building and over power lines. He got the job and scheduled it for June 25th at 8am. . He arrived with his crew right on time and began work. His men worked quickly and safely taking care not to damage anything. He completed everything in one day including grinding both stumps, and cleaning a huge debris pile next to the willow. I couldn't have asked for a better job. He and his men went above and beyond! He was paid in full before he even started work so his integrity and honesty was put to the test. As you just read he still worked hard and finished in one day! I called Anjoe because of the good reviews I read . The owner returned my call within 3 hrs. set up an app. For estimate called when he could not make it and made new date.Arrived on time ,very pleased with price. Very professional . The owner Joe LiPuma gave me a two week time frame and the crew including Mr. LiPuma was at my house ten days later. The work was completed like time work within 2 hrs..You would never know there was work done,so clean. The Forman also named Joe was great as was the other 3 crew members. Very satisfied. ( just a added note I had tried to contact many other tree services most well know. A few never responded to my call or never showed up for the estimate,one never showed up for the job and all were for more money, a couple double the price). I used Anjoe Tree Service twice. First, was to cut down 7 very large spruce trees at the back of my property. Most of these trees were leaning over power lines and my neighbor's property. And second was to cut down a pretty big maple tree in my back yard. After calling, Joe almost immediately called me back and was there the next day to look at each jobs and give me a quote. The quotes were very reasonable. Joe set up a date and time his crew would be there and for both jobs they were there on time. The work was done very quickly and when they left, the property looked exactly as it did before they arrived, minus the trees. They cleaned up almost all remnants of the trees. If I have any more tree issues, I won't even consider contacting anyone but Anjoe. read more

Agreed to work based on false pretenses. After having our appointment rescheduled 4 times, the work was 'complete' and the dangerous limb that needed cabling, was not cabled, as agreed. We were not notified of this, we had to contact Joe to find out what happened. Joe said it didn't need it now, then he said the foreman evaluated the wrong tree and it did need it. We have the foreman on our ring camera evaluating the correct tree. When confronted, with the inconsistencies, Joe promised to make it right with a partial refund. Now he is saying, " I misspoke" and wants us to drop it. The condescending attitude along with the blatant lies, makes it impossible for me to give more than one star, even though the trimming work was solid. read more

Met with Joe, the Owner, said he was a bit busy cleaning up storm damage but gave me a great price. The price was less than others and he was available to answer his calls, which I find most important. He said his team could get to me in about two weeks but after I said OK, it took him less than a week. His guy's removed three pine trees in 90 minutes and left the site clean with no debris. His machine was out for repairs on the day of the removal, but Joe came back a few days later and ground out the stumps. Below ground level and covered over the holes. TIf you're looking for help on your home landscaping this is the most professional company I've come across in 34 years. The team is professional, keeps its scheduling commitments and does a really terrific job. They removed 100 ft tall dead trees and stumps on an otherwise well manicured property with limited access. The icing on the cake is that Joe, its owner, really knows his trees and was a great asset in identifying the species and options to preserve the health of trees that are stressed. This is the best tree service around. Prompt, reasonably priced and they really know what they are doing. The owner, Joe, keeps a tight rein on his men and they work quickly, efficiently and with precision. I had two trees that needed cleaning up and trimming so it was not one of their largest jobs. It didn't matter. The guys came in and treated me and my property with a great deal of respect. They cleaned up all of the debris so I was not left with hardly a sign that they had been here except that my trees looked a heck of a lot better. I would not recommend them to anyone. Called them almost three weeks ago and they were going to get back to me within 2 to 3 days to deal with trees damaged by a wind storm and aiming for the house and deck. The person I spoke too said it sounded like it had to be dealt with ASAP. Home and property already had 3 trees damage the inside and outside of the home (removed by emergency service per the insurance company). These other 2 trees were beginning to lean towards the house. I just had three 80 foot evergreens taken down on my city lot that is my back yard. I knew it would be difficult because one of them was next to very intense high-intensity wires and another was growing next to the house. The crew did an outstanding job, working quickly, but cautiously. My neighbor was very happy, as was I that they cleaned every bit up afterwards.
