I would give more stars, but since I began going here a few years ago the quality had decreased. Erin has been tardy and not timely. It has been this way for a few of my past appointments. The restroom isn't clean at all, I found a dead roach in the bathroom one visit. Anju isn't receptive to issues when they don't meet her timeline for communication. Erin is a lovely person, however her work isn't consistent with complete hair removal. The prices are good. They're so good you can overlook some of the not so great things in this place. This is my new go-to place to get my eyebrows done. Usually there's no wait and they spend a good amount of time on threading your eyebrows. I like how I don't feel rushed and their chairs are comfortable. The place is pretty small but comfortable. I think it's a great deal to get eyebrows threaded for only $8 and the service has been good. There's also plenty of free parking on the street. read more

Anju is so sweet and does a great job. For the person who wrote bad review bc she had to wait, Anju is usually the only person working and she was prob assisting someone else. So yea, you prob have to wait ( or make an appt). She takes her time. If you don't like the shape, she will fix it. I went with my mom and we both got full face threading and facials. I live in Los Angeles and have gone to many threading places here, noone compares to Anju. I did not feel any pain! I was surprised bc I usually feel some no matter how gentle a person is. As for the facials, she uses organic masks she makes herself, which we loved. We went back the next day for a massage with another very nice lady who also waxed our underarms . Very, very happy with this place. Great customer service. Will continue to give our business well deserved to Anju. read more

A hidden gem in Oxnard. They are spread throughout the city and when you find one, you gotta keep going. I get the Brazilian wax and she's amazing. She is quick and efficient. She uses a wax that she rolls and pulls the hair out. I like this method better than the wax and strip. A friend turned me on to this place and I'm turn you all to it as well. They do threading and facials. Not your traditional facial but it left my skin nice and smooth. read more

Giving this place two stars, only for the fact Anju was such a nice lady but the eyebrow job was awful. My eyebrows were done wayyyy too thin, and I always keep them thick, maybe that was my fault for not saying how I wanted them but that's the least of my concerns cause there is more. Secondly, my eyebrows were noticeably uneven, and the shape of them on the one side was just all messed up, I never had to come home and try to fix my eyebrows from a botched threading and I had to do that at this place. First time here and had a pleasant experience. Anju threaded my eyebrows and gave me a facial. She was very kind to my 12 year old nephew. She let him borrow her charger when his phone's battery died. I am happy I found my new eyebrow lady! Also, she has a gentle touch as the pain of getting threaded was almost non-existent. read more

I have been threading for years because it's less harsh on my ultra sensitive skin. There are many good places in Ventura County; but Anju is the best! Threading, at times, can be painful however Anju has a very gentle touch compared to what's out there and I think it has to do with her experience. She has been doing this for over 15 years! Oh and the prices are amazing ! She does organic facials, customized for you at a very affordable rate. I was trying to find a place to do my threading for me as I am out of town for a month. I was referred to another place that only had one stars, so I continued to look on Yelp and found Anju. I was impressed with the five stars that she received, so I tried her out this afternoon. I've been getting my brows, upper lip and chin threaded for 17 or 18 years. For the last ten, I've been going to a regular place close to where I live. Anju was incredibly sweet and she was awesome. I decided to get a facial after threading. My face feels so smooth. If I am ever up in Oxnard again, I would see her. She was awesome and gentle at the same time! If you want a friendly person to do your threading, Anju is the woman to do it!!! read more

I had to wait about 30 minutes just to have my eyebrows tread. When she started she didn't even ask how I like my eyebrows to look, at the end she used tweezers which I didn't like that's why I went there because I didn't want tweezers or wax. At the end I hated the result one eyebrow totally different than the other one. They're really skinny close to a line witch I hate. I not coming back ever! Such a bad experience read more
