This place is horrible!!! The customer service is so bad! When the older lady threaded my eyebrows I told her I wanted my eyebrows "cleaned" up. What does she do?! She made my eyebrows so thin and one of my eyebrows in uneven that's not what I asked for.. She seemed very irritated and I felt like she was rushing the whole time. Mind you nobody else was waiting the place was empty. This is my second time coming to this place, the first time the younger women did a WONDERFUL job! Fucken terrible. They ruined my eyebrows. Took off a huge chunk. Now granted it was a little busy. She seemed stressed because of the amount of people that were in there (4 people waiting). I don't know if she rushed it but if you're going to be doing eyebrows or anything that's done to someone else you need to take your time and do it right. That's YOUR PROFFESSION. I decided to give this place one more shot and I specifically told the lady to NOT shape my eyebrows and just clean up all around as I am trying to grow them out AGAIN. First of all I have never bled from having my eyebrows threaded and I'm bleeding between my eyebrows. Second she shaped my eyebrows (which I stated at least 3 times to NOT DO) and she threaded off all of the hair that I had been growing out. THIRD SHE THREADED THEM UNEVENLY. I'm not talking about a little misshapen.. I mean she completely threaded my left eyebrow into a different shape than I have ever had/desired. Thanks Liza threading for conveniently being located near my home but never ever EVER again. Good work , Never had a issue until I go in a say ago. I sign in, sit down and one of the employees motions for me to come over and sit. I do. She looks at me ad very loudly tells me my eyebrows are uneven. It was not what she said, but it was how she said it. Other customers were there and looked at me when she said this. Evaluating them themselves. How embarrassing ! When I told her she made me feel uncomfortable she did not care. No empathy at all. I told her that I have never been asked that. They are the only ones to touch them for the last 10 months ! So if they are uneven, I should have been told this before. I work in customer service and she should be a little more kinder. Have been here a few times. My brows always look great. I prefer waxing for the lip, though. I recently purchased a Groupon. It only saves you a dollar and they won't punch your card if you use the Groupon so in all reality you get a free threading when you get 7 punches which works out to be the same as buying a Groupon. This was my first threading experience, so I may not have the correct context for this place. The girl working there could've been more friendly (she asked me "just eyebrows? No lips?" Wow, really?), but she did a decent job. I thought she did the arch a little too high, but everyone else seems to think that it looks good. The place itself needs to be livened up in some way; there's no music and it's dead quiet, making it awkward to wait. There was also only one person working when I went in the afternoon. Luckily there was only 1 person ahead of me and so I was in and out in about 30 mins. The threading itself took about 15-20 mins and was almost painless. read more

To night was the worst. I have gone to this location before, to have my eyebrows done, and they usually come out pretty okay. But tonight got I want to shave them off, the older lady was rude. She didn't even ask me how I wanted my eyebrows shaped or how thick I wanted them, just proceeded to thread them. I've told them before how I didn't like my eyebrows and they just brushed it off and blamed it on me not having symmetrical eyebrows!!! I've had them threaded before and they have looked amazing. I've had decent luck with the shaping of my eyebrows here (I've come once before and am sitting in the silent waiting room now). But I'm not really one to be too picky or complain. My mom is! She was super upset last time she came because the girl doing her eyebrows was on her phone the whole time, practically yelling in her ear. She felt spit hitting her face as she threaded. Then I decided to give it a try when I moved to Oxnard since my mom can be too picky. Welp! Same exact thing. The girl said maybe two things to me then yelled in my ear as she spoke to someone on her Bluetooth earpiece. That is SO unprofessional. No where in the world can you go to a business to be ignored while they talk on the phone AND expect you to tip them. No pleasantries, no conversation, nothing. If you went to a restaurant and the server was on their phone asking you to just point and expect a tip at the end, you'd be pretty upset. I'm here one more time today and hoping to give them one last chance. But I've been waiting about 15 minutes and no one is here. There was a girl behind the front counter doing paperwork or something this whole time. There are three of us here waiting and no employees in sight (the girl behind the counter disappeared after checking with the girl before me for a color - henna maybe?). I left my review unfinished and I was called back. The woman was decent. Maybe tired? Because I've been in the service industry for so long, I would expect some nicer service but I went back and forth on giving them 2-4 stars. She did my eyebrows, I paid, and left. Nothing to write home about but she got the job done. Maybe she's tired of rude folks expecting everything including eyebrows to be magically placed on their face that haven't been grown. Anyway, if you want bells, whistles, and a parade, don't go here. If you want minimal interaction and decent prices, this is the place. Liza, maybe smile a little? Smiles go a long way. Not everyone is out to get you. And please tell your employees no one wants to hear their conversations in their ears nor spit on. I have been here two times before and was not impressed. The employees are rude, they lack customer service, no one acknowledges you At all, there is a sign in sheet somewhere on the counter but it's not really visible. Every time I've been here the same lady has been there and there is always a different person working with her. You either get the "new" one and she is just so slow or you get the "experienced" one and she is just in a rush to get it done. the thread breaks a lot which seems unusual. There is used threat all over the place (unsanitary as it goes in their mouth for threading). Why did I return you ask? Well, I'm a sucker for deals. they had a Groupon so I was like what the heck it'll save me money, it was a limit of two Groupons $7 each not a bad deal I though. I went with a friend and was told I could only use one at a time fair enough. Used one Groupon and paid full price for the other one ($10). They're not good at shaping, My friend was given a clean up as She specified she did not want them thin. My brows ended up thinner than i wanted and not the same shape (see picture- I was smiling for he photo but i was not happy). Now I have waited for my brows to grow back so I can get them thicker and in shape. So I still had another Groupon left so I went back to use it but there was no way I was letting them touch my brows so I took brother to get his done. They didn't leave his brows thin which was good but all they did was clean it up, his brows did not get shaped and it seemed as if the girl just chose to take some hairs off (but it is better than ending up with no brow). When I presented the Groupon the new employee who helped us had to call the other lady to redeem it. The lady appeared annoyed at the fact that we had a Groupon, she was pretty rude. She made comments suggesting i was trying to use the same Groupon again etc. i explained that it is unethical to try to do that I would never try. She ended up redeeming it and let me tell you I will never go back. So lesson learned I will pay the full price and go to a place where they know how to thread and have good customer service. If you value your brows do your research before letting just anyone do them. read more

But the last time I went the lady who did my brows had just finished smoking and smelled like that the whole time she was doing my brows. I have been going to Liza's threading (both locations) for almost 3 years. And I have never had a bad experience and my eye brows are always on "Fleek" Every employee is so kind. With this being said do not go into an eye brow place with expectations to change your eyebrow look drastically. Yes they have an eyebrow shape poster. But not every shape will work for you. These women are trained to tailor an eye brow shape for your face. I have been coming here enough to witness some pretty rude people with far to high of expectations looking to get threaded for free because they are "unhappy" with how their eyebrows turned out, when in reality they looked spectacular! I went there twice the fist time I didn't get acknowledged and so I wrote my name on their list and waited 20 min couldn't stay so I left. The second time I went with a friend I told her about this place btw and we waited 50 min for us to get helped because they only have 3 ppl working who look miserable AF. My friend got helped but when it came to my turn the girl totally skipped me after waiting 50 min(who waits that long I know) I got up and told them that I was just going to have to come back and like nothing she told me "OK" by far THE WORST EXPERIENCE and they fucked up my friends eyebrows. I called them back to let them know about my experience and again didn't care! Soooo I yelped. Don't go there unless ur prepared to wait a long time and possibly get skipped!!!!! First of all, they do a terrible job making your eyebrows even. Second of all, they close 15 min early and refuse to complete a two minute eyebrow threading. I could see if there were other customers still being served, but there were two employees standing around doing absolutely nothing in an empty store. They turned me away. The only reason I came in the first place was for the Groupon discount, but it's not even worth the aggravation, time spent traveling, and having ugly eyebrows for a couple of weeks.
