When I got there the nurse put in her room then this lady came in didn't tell who she was until I ask her she was associate of the Doctor I had to ask her name also. This doctor clearly only sees patients for the money. She's a horrible person. Seema has a very rude and disturbing personality. She's not humble at all. The worst medical experience I've ever had. She's very mean and not nice. Even after I had diagnostic proof I have kidney and liver failure. She still didn't want to help even though I have health insurance. She's not helpful or nice. She still didn't believe I was in pain even after my diagnostics says I have liver and kidney failure. It felt like I was in a court room in front of an awful and unfair judge. Seema Anjum has been my primary for years. I had an appointment today that was cancelled by the woman at the front desk. There was some confusion about my Medicaid coverage. This woman kept giving us the Illinois number even though we told her that my coverage was Nevada. I told her that Dr. Anjum would see me anyway. This wasn't an assumption-- Dr. Anjum had told me that she would always see me whether or not I could pay/had coverage. The front desk woman told me that Dr. Anjum had just walked up and told her that she refused to see me without insurance. Okay. I was tearful but accepting. Then Dr. Anjum walked in through the front door. She hadn't even been in the office. I've had odd encounters with this woman a few times. I'm almost blind and simply can't continue to go through whatever this is. I understand that a single employee can change the culture of a whole business. As a PCP, Seema Anjum is disappointing, to say the least. She does not have a pleasant disposition, makes limited personal contact, and constantly stares into her computer 'taking notes' with little regard for the patient. She misdiagnoses, prescribes the wrong medications, and displays arrogance throughout the visit. I highly recommend staying away from this person unless you don't mind being disrespected and disregarded. I will add, that when I was being treated for high blood pressure, she prescribed epilepsy medication. When I brought this to her attention she was defensive and tried to deny her error until I insisted she review my medical records. Not a doctor to be trusted. read more

I know that NV isn't the greatest w health care services but WOW, this place takes the cake. Firstly, Dr Anjum will not be prepared for you. She won't know why you are there even as a repeat patient. The front desk only takes 1pm appt times. SO, if u think that your 1pm time will be on time. FORGET THAT. . If & when u get in you will be rushed. . She also doesn't practice patient confidentiality. She will have her door open for all to hear. Best part is if u need a referal, they will get you a paper with a # & it will look like they did their job by fax,email,phone,scan, etc to the place u need but in reality... nothing was sent.... 4x this happened. The woman at the desk are morons, the guy is ultra passive and does nothing. If you confront an issue, even politely, they become rude. When I called them they played dumb & said it was sent. It wasn't. I said send again & I'd like an email confirmation of the fax. Ok. Never got an email.. because again, they didn't send it. My mom is 72 & needs a cardiovascular dr. Now. I now have to go to the cardiologist myself and present the referral w other paperwork, then wait for an appt time. 2 wks lost. I'm also a patient and 2x so far referrals were not sent. They are dealing w time sensitive health issues and do not take anything seriously except for their billings. This place is a JOKE... IF ITS MORE THAN A PHYSICAL OR A COLD, LOOK ELSEWHERE . However her front office has been since I've had her the worst Ive ever experienced. If I do not follow up personally, meaning in person at the office, in the window and physically obtain information or referrals these people who handle this part of this office will always disappoint and more often than not you will not have anything done. Dr. Anjum is an extremely well rounded physician. She's always available, up to date and is a problem solver. I would never consider changing doctors. Dr. Anjum, as well as her staff are efficient, knowledgeable and caring. No crazy appointment scheduling at Dr. Anjum's office! She takes her time, is meticulous about tackling your concerns and provides what is best for you. Few doctors have the combination of great skill and beside manner- Dr. Anjum has both! She educates you on what is going on, as well as providing material. She makes it hassle free, but please follow and listen to the doctor:) read more

Dr. Anjum is ok, she knows her stuff but she is always in a hurry and does not take time to answer questions. I would not recommend going to this office though hecause the office staff is 100% incompetent. I will never be going back due to the rude and unprofessional demeanor of the 2 ladies that work there. One is the receptionist and the other is the "nurse", although I don't even know if she's actually a nurse. She takes patients blood pressure but doest seem to know answers to any medical questions. The are not only rude and unprofessional but very unorganized and I have heard them talking badly about patients, while other patients are there. I don't know if these ladies have ever worked in a medical office or any office for that matter as they lack professionalism, respect and confidentiality. Like the previous reviewer, I had an awful experience with this so called doctor. I went in to see her about a week before I was about to go on a trip(I was driving on this trip, and it was a super important trip). I had a feeling I had vertigo, and in my personal experience with vertigo, antibiotics work really well as I normally have some type of fluid in my ears. When I went in to see her, she asked my symptoms, and I told her. She didn't look in my ears, told me she wasn't giving me anything for it and I was not to drive as I would probably kill myself and my daughter while driving (no joke, this is what she said). I went and got a second opinion, and what do you know? I had fluid in my ears accompanied by a slight ear infection, obviously. So he gave me antibiotics. A week later I was completely fine, went on my trip and didn't kill myself and my daughter. By the way, received a bill from her for $80.00. Tried to dispute it with billing, never received a call back and I'm still trying to get a hold of billing. I received the bill in June and it is now the middle of September. Stay very far, far away from this doctor!!!! read more

Dr Anjum is probably the kindest, most compassionate doctor, I have ever met. It is due to her that my mother is alive today. She is extremely knowledgeable as a physician and has been able to manage my mother's health care in the darkest moments. If I could give this woman a 0 star rating I would. I had the misfortune of being "assigned" to her while at the emergency room of Sunrise Medical Center. She is without a doubt the most unprofessional and rude "physician" I have ever dealt with. She refused to listen to reasons why I was wanting my pain meds changed from 1x every 8 hours down to every 6 hours. I had an extremely painful leg with a blood clot and 1 pain shot in 8 hours didn't exactly keep the pain down at all. Once she refused to do that, she then changed me over to pills rather than an i.v., I think knowing that the pills would not work as well as the iv meds. She NEVER examined my leg during her "visits" to my hospital room and made me feel like I was not worth her time or effort. I have never had a doctor make me feel like the scum of the earth but this one sure did. It was like I had done something horribly wrong to her personally. She never once examined my leg, in the 2-3 visits she made to the room, only spending about 3 minutes there each time. She never even came into the room to discharge me or give me discharge instructions, leaving that to the nurses. If you ever get assigned to this doctor and you have a way to get another doctor, FIRE this one. She won't help you and will only make you feel worse, both physically and mentally. If I never see her again, it will be too soon. Warning---be afraid...be very afraid. read more
