I would recommend Dr. Chattha 10x over!!! About 7 weeks ago, I had a neck/chin lift & a eyebrow/cateye lift with him while undergoing other body procedures. I told him I did NOT want to look over exaggerated, and wanted to remain fairly natural. Not one person has recognized what I did since the surgery!!! They just "see" something is different & that is EXACTLY what I wanted. The eyebrow/cateye lift has made me look totally more awake. I was going in thinking I needed an upper bleph, but he was completely honest about how that would solve a smaller issue to a bigger problem. Doing the whole lift has taken care of the sagging skin above my eye, & I'm really glad I didn't go down the bleph route!!! After completing liposuction under my chin last year, I realized I had some loose skin that was preventing my jawline from looking sharp. Him and I discussed the neck lift - which he then also debunked whatever leftover fat was in there. It's insane how I could look as far down to my toes, and my jawline remains as sharp as Ariana Grande's. Pain for both has been in the lower 3/4's out of 10 (i have a HORRIBLE pain tolerance & I was fine). You'll have a weird banded headache around your head for the first week and a half. And you'll have a good amount of tightness in your neck for about six weeks. But sitting at seven weeks right now, I feel like myself again. The recovery was super quick, just as he said it would be! I got my hair done yesterday in an updo, and I've been doing full beats of makeup, & I have no pain or discomfort. He was constantly checking in on me, when I had issues with a medical rash from an allergic reaction to an antibiotic, he was on it IMMEDIATELY. He handled the "crisis" calmly and professionally, and I trusted him every step of the way. He the checked on me every few days until the rash was gone completely. That made me feel comfortable to know the issue was being handled - coming from a highly anxious girl. Dr. Chattha was the best surgeon I could ever ask for & I will NEVER go anywhere else again. Like... I will be back in 15 years for my second facelift. I cannot recommend him enough, if you're looking to get some work done by him - RUN to get a consultation. with years of sun damage and then losing weight, my self esteem suffered from feeling like my face fell down. Living in Seattle when I started researching a surgeon, I looked everywhere from Seattle, to Hawaii, Los Angeles, Miami, DFW, and Houston. LA, Miami and Houston are all the big US hubs where the biggest and best surgeons are. Money wasn't my concern but I also refuse to spend more for no reason. Finding a surgeon that i could hand my life and body over to wasn't an easy thing. I hate going under, and I have massive anxiety in general. I went to many consultations. Two things you need to focus on when choosing a surgeon who's about to have your face in their hands...1) Emotional care of the patient - Will they take care of you emotionally? Because face work is probably the most emotional procedure you can have. Managing your emotions as a patient, takes a strong and empathetic surgical team. 2) The actual ability and expertise of the surgeon. The minute I met Dr Chattha, I could feel his care and attention, his legitimate and genuine commitment to making each patient feel like they are the only one he's working on. His compassion and level of care is unmatched. I didn't want to look different, I just wanted my face put back where it used to "live". He spent so much time discussing my hopes and what I envisioned so he could fully understand what my expectations would be coming out. He won't recommend something that won't look good, and he'll explain why. My 18 year old daughter was really worried because she loves her mama's face. She kept asking me what I would look like after and I was kind of nervous that she would be sad. I had a facelift, brow lift, upper and lower eye lift and a neck lift with a chemical peel to remove all my sun damage. We planned on a lip lift but Dr Chattha decided on the table that that actually would make me look a little too plastic and he vetoed (he told me after). Thank GOD! Only a surgeon who had been really paying attention would have known to do that. I'm only 8 days post op right now and he's been with me all along, has helped my husband manage his care taker expectations and emotions and never rushes us. My daughter exclaimed today "MAMA! My husband had confused what meds he was supposed to pick up and when the pain kicked in at 4 am, we had to call him - we don't like asking anyone for help, much less interrupting the man who just operated on me for 14 hours, in the middle of his sleep - but he made us feel like he was actually glad we called...dealing with my husbands exhaustion confusion and low ability to communicate but Dr Chattha was patient and kind and got us going in the right direction. Also, the fact that he spent 14 hours on me when he could have rushed and been done in 7-8 hours, is a tremendous testament to the commitment he has to quality and making sure he's taking his time. The respect his team has for him, understanding and waiting and assisting for that long day... meaningful beyond words. As a middle aged mom of 10, who runs several businesses, I tend to put things for me on the back burner. I felt incredibly selfish going into this... don't worry, I'm working on that with my therapist lol... but coming out, I feel empowered, my confidence is building and I'm realizing how proud I am that I was brave enough to trust Dr Chattha. The reality is, though, I couldn't have done it without it being him. I would not have followed through. There is literally no surgeon that will give you the level of care who is also this talented!
