The woman who checked me in was super cheerful, pleasant and showed me around. When I got back, that is when things changed. I will say I used to work as a hair stylist and an educator in the beauty industry. I have high standards for basic customer service. Today with my aesthetician was lacking. She was nice but literally was calling me back, looking on her phone and Apple Watch. I could tell she was distracted the entire time. This was just a "procedure" going through the steps with very little customer service element. This used to be a great salon and spa, today I was just disappointed with the level and of service I received today.

However, I stopped in about a week ago for their mani/pedi promo and apparently the woman servicing me was "tired". Totally understandable, I was tired myself. However, I do believe that putting real energy behind being approachable and friendly is important when you're feeling tired or something.. just about having a little etiquette (just my opinion) So.. I was unsure about the way she conducted herself with me. I wanted to be understanding but she just seemed uninterested in servicing me in general and apparently wasn't about to try to be anything other than "tired", like I should accept that as a paying customer.
