My name is Patricia Oyem, and I recently gave birth to my son on May 2, 2026. I want to be very clear that this review is not about my OB-GYN physician. He is an exceptional doctor who has delivered all three of my children. In fact, he is the reason I continued my care with this practice and chose to travel from Maryland to the Annandale office. My doctor has always been compassionate, knowledgeable, and attentive throughout my pregnancies. Unfortunately, my experience with the front desk staff and office administration has been extremely disappointing and has overshadowed what should have been a positive postpartum experience. Approximately two weeks after my delivery, I received a phone call from the office informing me that I needed to come in for a two-week postpartum appointment before my six-week follow-up visit. Since my previous child was born over 15 years ago, I only remembered having a six-week postpartum appointment, so I trusted the information I was given. I was instructed to come in the very next day because I was already two weeks postpartum. As a mother recovering from a C-section, leaving the comfort of my home is not something I do lightly. Recovery is physically painful, emotionally exhausting, and requires careful planning, especially when caring for a newborn. Despite this, I made the effort to attend the appointment because I believed it was important for my health and recovery. When I arrived at the office, I was informed that there was no appointment scheduled for me. I was shocked, frustrated, and deeply disappointed. I had only come because the office contacted me and instructed me to do so. To make matters worse, there was little acknowledgment of the inconvenience and hardship this caused. Patients recovering from major surgery should not be subjected to unnecessary trips, confusion, and poor communication. A simple mistake may seem minor to office staff, but for a postpartum mother recovering from a C-section, it creates unnecessary stress, discomfort, and frustration. Because of this experience, I have decided not to return to this clinic for my postpartum care. Instead, I plan to seek my postpartum follow-up and evaluation through the hospital where I delivered. I sincerely hope the practice takes steps to improve communication, scheduling accuracy, and patient care from its administrative staff. The physicians may provide excellent medical care, but the front office is often the first and last impression patients receive. Unfortunately, my experience with the office staff did not reflect the level of care and professionalism that patients deserve. read more

So thankful for finding Dr.Le her team is so amazing! They greet you with their warm welcome. My first visit Virginia she knew what she was doing. She listened to what I was going through. She let me know I was in good hands with Dr.Le. When Dr.Le seen me she knew that I wasn't doing good. I explained my symptoms/issues and concerns Dr. Le knew exactly what I needed. Took blood work that day. They called later to let me know I needed to go to the hospital ASAP and that everything was ready waiting for my arrival. I was amazed because they were on top of the issue I was having. When it was time for my surgery day everything went smoothly. Dr. Le gave her personal number for any questions or concerns. She done an excellent job her and her team. I can feel that she takes her patients seriously and she loves what she does. My check up after my surgery was good. Dr.Le listen to you she doesn't rush you.The office is always clean! I wish I had found her earlier in life. read more

Dr. Drake-Williams is amazing. I am really glad I found her! She and the staff at this location are wonderful. The office is beautiful, clean and it feels homey. This was my first visit and I walked away feeling like I'm in the best hands with Dr. Drake-Williams. She has an amazing bedside manner; and, gave me the facts - along with my best options. I didn't feel pushed to do anything I didn't want to do, which I appreciate so much. Scheduling was a breeze and the portal they use is user friendly, and reliable. I am currently 14 weeks pregnant with a healthy baby, but my experience at this OB office was nothing short of traumatic. I'm high risk due to clotting disorders (Factor V Leiden and MTHFR), and I was open from the very first visit about having previously experienced a term stillbirth. Despite this, I was thrown into a whirlwind of fear, confusion, and emotional distress by this practice's poor communication and lack of compassion. At just under 5 weeks pregnant -- a completely normal time to not see much on an ultrasound -- I was tossed between two different doctors, Katya and an new midwife and told I might be having a blighted ovum. Then, after doing exactly what they told me (taking progesterone, watching my HCG rise as expected), I received a phone call at 9:30 PM from the doctor, saying I might be having an ectopic pregnancy and that my fallopian tube could rupture before my scheduled appointment in two days. Why the call at night? Because she had just gotten back from vacation. To make matters worse, Katya told me she'd be "the third person jumping up and down for a healthy pregnancy to come out of this," but she just didn't "see that being the outcome." Those words broke me. I was grieving a loss that hadn't even happened -- and thankfully, never did -- based on nothing but speculation. I was scared out of my mind and made to feel like I was doing something wrong by continuing the progesterone they prescribed. It was fear-mongering and wildly inappropriate, especially for someone with my medical history. This kind of care is reckless and emotionally harmful. I've since transferred to a provider who communicates responsibly, respects my history, and supports me and my baby. I do not recommend this practice to anyone, and especially not to high-risk patients. read more

If you're looking for a doctor with exceptional bedside manner, look no further. Dr. Sridharan is incredibly kind, patient, and makes you feel at ease, especially if you struggle with doctor anxiety like I do. She takes the time to explain everything and makes sure you're comfortable throughout the entire process. I used to see Dr. Lee, but due to my schedule, I decided to give Dr. Sridharan a try--and I never looked back. It's been over two years, and I've recommended her to friends who also had positive experiences. I'm sad to have moved out of state, but I'll likely continue seeing her on a yearly basis. It's hard to find a doctor who understands your anxiety and makes you feel truly comfortable, and I'm so grateful to have found Dr. Sridharan. read more

Don't make the mistake I did & ignore the negative reviews. The fact that I'm even posting a review says enough. Instead of wasting your time at this facility, spend the extra time looking for staff and physicians who actually care about your well-being. This is not only coming from a personal place, but even the couple that was seen before me was livid with the front desk staff due to unprofessionalism (which should have been a sign). I absolutely regret getting my pap done here. This is hands down the worst practice I've ever encountered. I felt dismissed, rushed, there was a lack of care from both the nurse and the Dr. The nurse literally had no care in the world, she was barely present. My insurance recently changed so I was forced to get a new provider and this horrendous experience took me back to the drawing board. Dr. O walked in kind of insulting me in a way, literally no compassion at all! I am the type of person who ask a lot of questions and seek clarity especially when it comes to my health, however, Dr. O seemed annoyed and frustrated. The front desk staff was confused and booked a return visit for an ultrasound?! Umm excuse me? I came for a routine pap. She had no clue what she was doing! Nonetheless, I'm never coming back here. If you care about your self in any capacity, I would steer clear from this place. They don't care about you. Our medical assistant was very nice and fast, even the front desk lady was beyond nice and helpful. The only issue was the provider, Dr. Teeana Drake-Williams. She came into the room as if she was doing us a favor by seeing us. She didn't seem interested at all in our questions or visit. She doesn't seem like she likes her job at all, such a disappointing appt. She seemed more interested in how fast she could get out the room and get the appt over with. I wish there were more honest reviews about her so I could've chosen another provider. I saw Dr. Terry Allen and I absolutely love her! Her approach is always warm and inviting! She also doesn't rush my visits! She always gives me room to ask as much questions as possible about my health. Should I have any concerns she listens and will order more screenings to make certain everything checks out good! I have never felt as though i needed to forcefully advocate for my health when I go for my visits! Which is a great feeling because I know that my thoughts and feelings concerning my women health is heard and taken seriously. The office is very inviting and warm as well! I love how the office staff is also caring and welcoming as well! Sometimes OB visits can be a traumatizing experience, but not for me here!! It's the comfort I get in knowing that my thoughts are heard and my health is taken seriously is very refreshing! Dr. Anna Le was recommended to me by my GP, who happens to have her practice next door and is her sister, Dr. Connie Le. I am a new patient to Dr. Anna Le's practice and was there for my annual exam. I love Dr. Connie Le's practice and the professionalism, efficiency and friendliness of their staff their, everyone from the reception, medical assistant, LPN and Dr. Le herself. Unfortunately, I had quite a different experience at Dr. Anna Le's practice. I arrived for my appointment a few minutes early, at 3:05pm as requested by the practice to fill out paperwork before my 3:15pm appointment. I had already downloaded the forms from their website and completed them, which was fortunate for me because there was NO ONE at the front desk when I arrived. I waited for nearly 10 minutes before I went past the reception desk to find someone to check me in. I was greeted gruffly and I could barely understand the receptionist because she kept mumbling. I gave her my paperwork, driver's license, and insurance card. While I was being checked in, a medical assistant came to the front to take me to my appointment. The receptionist handed me my cards and mumbled to go ahead with the medical assistant. The assistant took me to a room where she asked me a myriad of questions for my medical profile, and took my blood pressure, weight, etc. She then told me to get fully undressed and put on that awful paper gown and paper drape and the LPN would be with me shortly. After 20 minutes had gone by, I was about to put my clothes on, when she came in and said that they were running behind and that the LPN would be there shortly. I waited another 5 minutes before Leah Krohn, PA, came in. Leah was friendly enough, but my time with her felt very rushed because they were running behind schedule. I won't go into the details, but the exam itself was extremely painful because the chair wasn't angled properly. She did ask me a lot of questions and gave me some information to check when I got home, but I wasn't exactly in a position to take notes. After the exam was done, I tried to sit up and almost lost my balance because she hadn't put the chair back in an upright position. I've been getting annual GYN exams for 4 decades and this was the most painful exam I've ever had. She left and I changed into my clothes. Another medical assistant came in to do my bloodwork and she was very friendly, professional, and efficient. I went to the front desk and checked with the receptionist to make sure I was all settled up, which I was. The atmosphere and decor in both Dr. Connie Le's and Dr. Anna Le's office is very nice -- clean, contemporary, beautiful decor, and a calming environment. The only difference is that some of the staff at Dr. Anna Le's office could use an attitude adjustment and not rush their patients and make sure they're comfortable. Not sure if I'll go back unless something changes. Maybe they were having an off day. The location is convenient for me and parking is easy, but the fact that I'm still feeling pain and discomfort a day later is not good at all. read more

It's fine if you choose this practice for routine check up, but avoid for pregnancy. Office cannot be reached by phone, wait in queue and you get sent to voicemail. I only called because my appointment was cancelled. Their availabilities are very limited and it happened during my third trimester, no one wants to go through this stress at this time. I'm at my 36 weeks and is searching for a new practice. Update: No office will accept patients when you are too far along, so I am stuck with this practice. US healthcare is the worst. I tried to schedule an induction to get this over with and I spoke to Dr Drake directly and she confirmed that she has me on her schedule and I will also get a confirmation from the hospital. A week later, I got a call from the office and they informed me it's been scheduled with a random doctor that's not even from the practice. I'm at a loss of words... read more

I had a video consultation and I didn't see them until 2.5 hours later. The office called and rescheduled for 2.5 hours later. I agreed, because I wanted help. The provider then recommended a different provider outside of their office. She told me that she was going to reach out to this provider. She said she felt that we would be a good fit. That was interesting. There was nothing unique to my case. I was told to gather my medical records and imaging and someone would be reaching out to me. I never heard from this office. It has now been almost one month. I guess I didn't fit the bill of the type of patients they prefer. read more

I have extreme anxiety about all medical procedures, particularly OBGYN related ones. However, during my colposcopy, PA Samantha Stern was extremely kind and patient with me. She explained everything thoroughly and helped me to understand my diagnosis as well as the procedure. I came into the office extremely emotional and anxious and left feeling empowered being more informed about the procedure. I would highly recommend anyone to Annandale OBGYN; they are a first class medical practice and treat all of their patients with the utmost care. read more

When I found out I was pregnant, I spent a ton of time doing research for an OB-GYN that was closer to my house. I went through the MyPrivia network and found Annandale OB-GYN -- I liked that they had multiple locations and their doctors were well-liked. I'm 7 months in to this experience (first-time mom!) and I've really appreciated everyone I've visited thus far and all the information they have provided and helped me to understand what's happening and what's normal and what's expected. The office is beautiful and appointment wait times are generally minimal, but the kindness and patience from the doctors, nurses, and PAs I've met with is what matters to me and has been really great. Especially when I was previously visiting an OB-GYN in a high-rise in Arlington where I felt very much like a number and not a patient. Even when I've been getting ten vials of blood drawn, the nurse/blood techs (not sure of the title!) have been super super nice. The team at Annandale OB-GYN treat me like a person and encourage me to send them notes through the patient portal if I have any concerns. I'm really happy that I've found this place and as someone of "advanced maternal age" who needs to make pretty frequent, I feel taken care of and as prepared as I can be. read more

TLDR: Dr. Anna Le has been great and a wealth of information but the support inside the practice is flawed: from wasting patients time, money and consistently provides outdated, inaccurate, and/or conflicting information. My wife has been coming here for a little over a year. We found Dr. Anna Le through our my blue app and were enthusiastic by her reviews. We were excited at her approach towards conceiving following my wife's surgery with her oncologist. Anyone whom has had trouble will understand the amount of testing that needs to be done to determine fertility is a lot, and adds up quickly. From HSG, to blood tests, to sonograms and this practice for the last four months have wasted our time and money. I'll elaborate - on two occasions the practice has sent emails to my wife confirming her appointment at the wrong location. Therefore when my wife showed up and there was no one there she had to rush to the other location on one occasion the other time she wasn't able to secure additional time from work. But guess who still charged us for a "missed appointment" for their error? This practice. When we showed them they emails they initially denied it, but after repeated conversations that took hours and multiple phone calls with multiple people we were able to successfully have the the charges reversed. Outdated information - they really need to update their referrals list for these testing locations because half of the referrals we've received aren't there, accepting patients, completing the specific tests they want (HSG, sperm analysis) or they're located so far it's not feasible to travel, For my own experience, Dr. Anna Le wanted me to complete a sperm analysis, the two locations they referred me to, one no longer was completing the test and the other location was roughly 30 minutes north of Baltimore which due to my location would be impossible as it's a drop off your sample location. Keeping in mind that sample expires in 60 minutes. Conflicting information- last month we were told the HSG test and sonogram were to be completed one after the other. As in within days. This month we were told it would have to be completed 10 days after my wife's cycle and she'd have to complete all of these tests over again. (Blood test confirming she's not pregnant, an HSG, and sonogram) without explaining why we would have to complete the HSG again. This has resulted in another failure on the staff is that they do not properly explain why these tests would be required to repeated month after month. Front desk - the staff is rude, inconsiderate and fails to follow up on typical questions or calls. They love to lecture my wife on trivial issues and fail to take ownership of the problems they cause I understand that "everyone is busy" and sometimes things fall through the cracks but the lack of organization that this practice displays is abysmal. Followed up with their rude comments, it just isn't appropriate or professional. Having issues trying to conceive is stressful enough, coupled with this practices mismanagement causing additional un-needed stress and costs. After four months of repeated failure after failure from either conflicting information, incorrect location, etc. I think we've had enough and will consider another OBGYN. Dr. Anna Le has mentioned multiple times she's opening up a fertility clinic and I hope she recognizes her offices current failures in order to staff her new clinic with professionals. read more

Dr. Okanlawon is an amazing doctor!!! Overall the staff is incredible as well. I went through a LOT prior to my appointment (lost a brother three weeks prior and was rear ended four days before). I was at the emergency department the day before and I couldn't find my purse the morning of my appointment so I was late. The staff was patient and kind as I explained the situation. I was still able to give them all the necessary info by email and they made sure I was still able to be seen. Dr. O is a thorough physician with a great bedside manner. She is a safe, non-judgment space as well. She remembered (or reviewed) details of my last annual visit and was ready to counsel me to make sure we covered what needed to be covered. And when she found out my brother's funeral was two days later, she checked in and assessed to make sure I was ok emotionally and gave some counsel and advice on addressing my grief. She held me in my pain and in my sadness and I felt truly and deeply cared for! And I know my physical GYN is extremely safe in her hands! read more

I've been going to Annandale Ob-Gyn since 2019 and seen four doctors including the owner, Dr. Le. I've had nothing but excellent experiences with every one of them. They have a great bed side manner and genuinely care about your health. Recently, I had to get a surgical procedure done due to dermoid cyst growing on my right ovary. I was so nervous and anxious since I had not undergone any sort of surgical procedures in my life and also never been pregnant. Dr. Le rest assured that it's a minimally invasive procedure and that she will try her best to preserve my ovary so it will not affect fertility. Her confidence in her words and practice relived my anxiety. It's been about 10 days after cystectomy and I've already recovered, I'd say more than 90%. No pain, no side effects, no infection/inflammation. She made such tiny incisions that they already look so faint now. I don't think they will even scar and even if they do, I'm sure they will be barely noticeable. I won't go to any other Ob-Gyn office as long as I stay in this area and I would highly recommend Annandale Ob-Gyn to any women, pregnant or not! There are also 4 different locations (Annandale, Alexandria, Falls church, and McLean), with most doctors rotating through all locations... which makes it convenient and easier to schedule an appointment! read more

I recommend this office very much. My friend from work referred me to this office when I moved down and I have been going to this office ever since. Been going here for 4 years now. They have looked out for me so much. They delivered both of my babies and done well with my surgeries. Doctors are informative and don't sugar coat anything. The staff is great and polite. This is an amazing ob-gyn. The office (in Annandale) is new and beautiful, and the staff are attentive and friendly as soon as you walk in. My longest wait was maybe two minutes. The nurses and techs are very nice and professional and Dr. Sridharan is simply the best! She is calm and has an excellent bedside manner. She is also very thorough and unrushed when examining. Finally, she patiently answers my multitude of questions until I feel I've gotten actual answers. I've never had this experience with a doctor before. In fact - I'm still looking for the right primary care doc - but am so happy to have found this place and Dr. Sridharan. I loved going here before I was pregnant. The convenience of going in and out quickly is as amazing. Since I've become pregnant however, it has become such a hassle. They take forever to see you, the receptionists are incredibly rude, they don't communicate what you need before coming to the appointment, the doctors are okay but I imagined them being more attentive especially when it's your first baby, the emergency call line is a joke- I've been hung up on multiple times, and the worst part, since I've moved to a new OB, I know I paid off all of my bills for this office before I left. Three months later I'm still getting bills from them. It's insane. So now instead of moving on to a better OB peacefully, I have to worry about old billing from 4+ months ago. read more

Of course there are health concerns with being overweight but when a doctor makes unnecessary comments and applies that you're lying well...screw them.
