He picked the table up and returned it. For those of you who do not know what a drum table is, the center of the table goes around. Mine was badly broken causing the top to be very tilted. I told Mr Burkett, if he could not fix the table to turn and just have the top be connected to the part that turns, I would have him do the job. He came over and looked at it and said he was pretty confident he could fix it. I also have my grandmother's secretary and one of the doors was too warped to close, he fixed that too and now it closes perfectly.

Everyone in the shop was extremely friendly and helpful, but a special shout out to our salesman, Kowen (sp?), who was patient and honest with us through 3 trips to the store as we tried to make up our minds. One small word of advice: They have a decent selection in the store of pieces you can take right away, but most items need to be ordered and will take 6-8 weeks, so be prepared to plan ahead to get exactly what you want! (Although if something unexpected has occurred I would have negotiated an increased price, I feel I have often been overcharged by other contractors working by the hour. Fortunately this work went as planned.) He was on time. He brought a helper. Their work was neat and professional. They cleaned up well after themselves. They did kitchen and bath recaulking, interior ceiling patch and repair, exterior faucet replacement and tub/shower faucet replacement. Plus several other projects like a window screen repair. They installed an access door for bathroom plumbing where there had not been one before, and charged only a little extra plus the cost of the hatch door they purchased for me. They put a pan I had purchased under my washer without additional charge. What a relief to have so much deferred maintenance all nicely fixed at a reasonable price!
