I travel often and tend to test out new yoga studios and no studio quite compares. I have never had a bad class at prana - and I've taken a class with Kathleen (the owner), Charlie, and MacKenzie (regularly). They do keep the studio HOT! Which I love. Each class has been different and unique. The instructors all know you and are all so welcoming. I'm moving away in a couple of months and I feel truly blessed to have found the studio, even if only for a short period of time. I will definitely return if I'm ever in the area!

The studio was clean. The check-in process was simple. The class began on time. The instructor's brief overview of the class and demonstration of the moves before class helped set the tone. During class, she helped with exercise form, especially for novices like me. She also assisted with setting up the reformer, if needed. The class was moderately paced, accompanied by good music. While in session, the room had ambient yet visible lighting, creating a relaxed atmosphere. Following class, I felt the impact of every move. I experienced some soreness for about two days, but it wasn't too bad. I felt the class made a difference. I have attended many exercise classes, but with this one, I felt the impact days later. The instructor was great. Overall, I enjoyed the experience. I will try it again.

From the first greeting when I arrive until the goodbye when I leave, the service feels friendly and genuine. The entire facility is always clean, well maintained, and kept in excellent condition. The equipment is top-notch, and there is a wide range of options for strength training, cardio, swimming, and fitness classes. I also play pickleball here regularly, and the pickleball program is one of the main reasons I enjoy this location so much. The staff is always helpful, and the courts are excellent. I have played at other indoor facilities and on outdoor courts, and these are the nicest courts I have experienced. Parking is also easy. There is a large garage with plenty of available spaces, so finding parking has never been a problem. The price is definitely at the premium end, but you are getting a premium facility. Between the excellent staff, high-quality equipment, lap pool, extensive fitness classes, pickleball courts, cleanliness, and overall atmosphere, I believe the membership is well worth it. Signing up was super simple, for the first time I am not upset about spending money to whip my body into shape! Staff is AMAZING; very welcoming and encouraging. They genuinely want to know your story and engage. The class was an endurance class and though tough, I worked my booty off with Lauren the coach cheering us all on. Annapolis is not my home studio, around thanksgiving break I have them a try and swore I would never go back given the horrible front staff and how I was treated. It's now May and I really wanted to give them another chance. I scheduled a class for 4:30pm and went to their location right after work. I live 45 min away so I try my best to get to OTF annapolis when in the area. I arrive at 4:34pm and was told that they would not let me in class because I was late. I told them that I was at work, sent a text message to the studio letting them know and they still wouldn't let me in. I argued that there was a treadmill open and didn't understand where the studio was benefitting by not slowing me in class. My spot was booked and now empty with no other patron waiting for it. The guy at the front desk said he could not under no circumstances let me in class. Needless to say, I really miss my home orange theory. This location is by far the worst!!! Stay away!!

Been working out at EIF for just over 5 months. It's been worth every penny. I was once very active…read morein the gym and between having kids, a business or two and some prior health issues I had no shortage of excuses for skipping the gym. So I searched out a trainer and fixed appointments to both keep me motivated and frankly because I knew I'd go if I was paying more than a gym membership. I looked at many options in the area and settled on EIF based on their reputation, individualized process, the others I looked at just seemed to be too cookie cutter and cared less what I wanted from my exercise. Originally I planned on getting in the swing of things and then going back to working out on my own at a monthly gym. I now look forward to working out and plan on continuing with EIF indefinitely. Not only do the trainers keep me pushing as hard as I can but they are knowledgeable and helpful on every subject from form, to diet to helping with injuries and preventing them. I've gained muscle, lost weight, and considerably lowered my body fat. My energy levels are off the charts and it's been very easy to accommodate the timing, no more excuses to skip the gym. Two things that will strike you immediately, the super friendly staff and it's cleanliness. Evolutions especially excels with the Pilates (Power) trainers and equipment. There are many certified trainers and open and reserved classes available throughout the week. One class of particular, Pilates Total Fitness is a great integration of pilates and strength training. Kelly D can really kick up the hour! Evolutions also has a great body work staff. Jack M, does intramuscular massage that might make you cry on the table but you leave with real and lasting results. I love that I can get a workout in a totally different way here than just taking yoga classes all the time. I want to get rid of my flabby arms, get nice legs, and basically tone my whole body, but yoga can only do so much! The sculpt and barre classes definitely target the areas that yoga does not! You may think you're fit, until you walk into one of these classes and feel the need to vomit several times (in a good way). Definitely my favorite studio I've attended since moving to Maryland. Even the aesthetics is super pleasing! It's a brand new studio, and you can definitely tell how new it is because of how pristine everything still is. But you can tell a lot of thought went into the design of it all. The yoga studio has 3 different sets of lights that are all on dimmers. The sconces and the ceiling perimeter lights are my favorite! You no longer have to deal with bright lights overhead whenever you're laying down on your back! They have a completely different room for the sculpt and barre classes, but both studios have surround sound, which I love! Normally, studios just have speakers in the front of the room which can either make it very loud in the front or not as motivational in the back. But here, the music can pump you up no matter where your mat is! I cannot recommend this studio enough and am so glad to have the opportunity to take such a great variety of classes with great teachers.
