Stopped in for breakfast with my wife in this home town restaurant vibe coney with a Marilyn Monroe theme. Our server was very prompt in taking our drink and breakfast orders. Our food was served quickly and piping hot. I had the classic omelet which I love being smothered in chili, and my wife had the biscuits and gravy which is always her favorite. The restaurant ceiling tiles and walls could use some cleaning but seemed clean in the kitchen area and the food was really good. read more

Little place with reasonable prices. Great menu that is simple and good. We were able to get our RV in the parking lot, park easily and will pull straight out the other side. It's a bright and lively place. Friendly service. Kitchen grill is just in the dining room room but thankfully it wasn't hot inside. It's humid and warm outside. No waiting area or direction to seat yourself or wait to be seated. We figured it out. Good for Sunday breakfast. The food was excellent. Biscuits and gravy, blueberry pancakes, bacon and side of hash browns. All with coffee. Idk why the parking lot isn't packed. For what it is and the price, excellent. read more

Food is amazing. I love stopping in when I'm in the area to grab a quick bite to eat, doesn't matter the time of day the food is always worth eating. Service is quick. The ladies that take orders are so sweet and the guys behind the counter are pretty cool. Ambiance is...it's rough, it's a small hole in the wall restaurant. It's old, kinda dirty, and the bathroom gives final destination. If the owner got a professional cleaner or detailer to come clean the restaurant it would be beautiful. Conflicted review once again. The food seems good/great, the homemade salsa was exceptional. Heres the rub, cheap flatware set on the only napkin you receive, there are basic host issues here. I also sat and listened to my very bad "waitress" complain about a bad tipper. Don't like giving rating on our first visit and I had won the meal at a local event. It was a short order, neighbor hood diner. Lots of regulars there, coming and going. The meal was "okay". I live 20 miles away and probably wont make a special trip here for a coney meal. The place was very clean. The food was hot. Coffees were good. Service was fast and friendly. This is one of my favorite restaurants around me. The staff is amazing and once you've gone a couple of times they know you by face and always strike up a good conversation with you. I do admit that the wait can be long once and a while but I believe that the food is worth it. The food is really reasonable. The menu has lot of choices so that everyone can find something they would enjoy. If you're looking for a cozy little joint this would be the place for you! read more

Eat here at your own risk. Everything was dirty and the service was shit. I watched the owner(I think) carry an armful of frozen chicken tenders across the restaurant with his bare hands against his dirty shirt. He dropped one tender, and although he didn't pick it up and use it, I wouldn't be surprised if it gets rotated back in when nobody is looking. No hands were washed between handling raw chicken and grabbing sausage links that were also carried across the kitchen area like a handful of twigs without any care. The coffee was sludge and the mug was dirty. I was so put off that I got up and walked out. The two young waitresses were dilly-dallying behind the counter the whole time and not once did I see them service a table other than to drop food off. I sat at the counter next to the register and everyone had to walk their checks up to cash out. I watched a few more unhygienic food handling practices on my way out the door and shuddered at the thought that some people have such low expectations of dining out that they rated this place anything other than one star. You're quite literally a fool if you eat here!! How anyone gives this place 5 stars is beyond me!! read more

I'm picky when it comes to Coneys. I find the food usually average at best. Not here! I haven't had a bad meal yet, and I've been here a lot as I meet my wife occasionally for lunch. They offer traditional American and Greek and some Mexican, all what you'd expect, however, all of it is above average quality food. Homemade soups and meats from a nearby market. Service is always top-notch too. I love this little place, and it's underrated. It's like the millennium falcon: it doesn't look like much, but she's got it where it counts, kid. A+ read more

Best omelette I've ever had! I had a Western Omelette. It was big, warm, and delicious. The hash browns were nicely browned and tasty. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his Classic omelette. The waitress was kind and checked on us frequently. The chef was friendly and knows his stuff. We went at 10:30 on Saturday morning and found a table. Went here yesterday morning. Ordered the Corned beef and Swiss cheese omelette. It came with hashbrowns and toast. I had coffee with it. It was good, eggs done the way I like them. Hate when their over cooked and brown. Ordered rye toast and got white, but I pushed on. No problem. Service was real good considering it was one person covering several tables and the counter. Good Food, but service needs a tune up! We love going here, but the service is severely lacking. No one checks on you after your food has arrived, no refills unless you speak up and go to the counter. I had to go ask for silverware one time as no one came back. I have been eating here for many years. While I mostly enjoy eating breakfast the entire menu is outstanding. The blueberry pancakes are the best around! The owner Sal, and his wife with the rest of the team are really positive outgoing people enjoy who do a wonderful job making you feel welcome and quickly serviced. The cafe usually fills up pretty quickly around the prime times for dining. But once you sit down and place your order it does not take long to receive your meal. I have been coming to the coney for a very long time and have always loved the waitresses and cooks there. The staff has always been welcoming and the food is great. Then I went there this past week during the evening and a short haired girl that I think has not been there long waited on me, I think her name was Brianna, I have seen her there before but she never waited on me. I was extremely mad about how rude she was. She messed up my order and when I asked for it to be fixed she acted like it was my fault that it was wrong. She also didn't know much about the food and what came with stuff because when I asked questions she was unsure and seemed like she was guessing. She spent most of her time on her phone and talking to the cooks when my drink was empty and at the end of the table. I had to ask her more then once to get me more pop and there was only one other table in there. I don't think I will be coming back after this because it was the worst service I have ever had! read more
