Love this place. Service & food are always good. Prices are reasonable. Friendly service. Have had the coconut chicken salad there twice, delicious. He had the grilled salmon, also delicious. Try it out.

Great Service. Friendly Staff. To go to. During our lunch breaks, my friends and I like coming here for food. The staff is always attentive, and they tend to sit us quickly. Never takes a long time to get our ordered in, and get our orders fresh and warm on our table! The fries here are delicious; and I always look forward to coming here. It's a dinner, so you can expect family like food. Everything that my friends and I have ordered has always been great, so I recommend anything on their menu!

Americus is a local favorite in the Milford community as evident in the wait time on a Sunday morning with the church crowd. The place is great because of their moderate prices and good service. Definitely much better than a Leo's Coney Island or any larger chain. Portions are big for the money despite the recent price increases which were substantial on some items. My favorite is the Gyro Dinner which comes with gyro meat, tzatziki sauce, pita bread, choice of potato (fries or rice, etc) and then a soup or salad. I get the salad because I love their Greek dressing as it has hints of a berry flavor and you cannot go wrong with the cottage fries, ask for them crispy, or the curly fries. Other popular choices are the Greek salad, americus pita or omelets. Omelettes can get expensive though because they charge $.79 to .$89 per item so if you get tons of toppings it will be an expensive omelette. Monday through Friday they do have good breakfast specials that range from $2.99 to $6.99 I believe and they all come with lots of food. Those are served before 11am. Americus has yet to disappoint and I've probably been here over 25 times!

One of the best Greek Salads. Very delicious!

She got our drinks out quickly (knowing we needed them lol) and took care of the kiddos too. The portions are very big here and I took about half of my food home and enjoyed it later. I got this shrimp plate with rice, avocado and pico. It was very good and flavorful. The place had festive and fun vibes and I loved their playful art on the menus! Good for families, solo or night out with friends!

It feels like we are clubbing in here. Can't have a conversation really. The corn chips are not fresh, could be better if they were freshly made. I want the chips to be good. The elote seems to be mixed with the queso, which is really runny. It tastes better, but could be thicker. The guacamole is average, not a lot of flavor to it. Main food orders in after about 15 minutes after we were seated. The flautas are super dry, the chicken that is. The chicken isn't even jerky like, just bark like burnt. The lobster quesadilla tastes rather interesting. On closer examination after the odd texture of the lobster, it had the strangest layers to it, reminds me of the Krab. Something quite odd about their lobster for sure, comes across to me as imitation meat. Hard to describe how weird it was to me, has completely left me at a loss and utterly confused. Meat doesn't have the chew I expected at all, mostly disintegrated in my mouth without biting it and the odd layers really threw me off exceedingly. My husband asked our waitress about the nature of the lobster meat to Nikki. She asked the kitchen if the lobster meat in the quesadilla and enchiladas was real lobster meat. The kitchen of course said yes, it is. I wouldn't have expected anyone to say the lobster meat was imitation though. Such a strange meal and experience tonight.

Decided to give this place a try on Memorial Day weekend and went specifically for happy hour deals…read moreand also decided to eat dinner. Happy hour: well drinks $4 (great deal), wine and margarita good deals too. Note that craft beer was not on happy hour (disappointing). Appeared only bottled beers were on happy hour; wish that beer on tap was at least some discount like $1 off would be a nice perk. Craft beer tall was $8.50. Ouch. (Even the local river edge's brewery doesn't charge that much.) Select appetizers were $7. Pretzels were okay. Not very good flavoring and a little tough chewy for our liking. The mustard was more honey mustard texture instead of stone mustard that I prefer with pretzels. The beet cheese was good. They do give a generous amount of beer cheese. Main course/meals: husband got the Alabama smash burger which he said was good and flavorful. Fries were good with a nice coating. I had the steak tacos. I do want to note I have a tomato allergy so needed to make some modifications and also don't like grilled onions. However I was very disappointed with the steak tacos. They were very small size (like appetizer to me) and all it had was the steak and melted cheese. Lettuce and avocado would have gave these some flavor. I asked for a side of beer cheese with the tortilla chips since I could have salsa. I was upcharged $3. Very confusing because bill said it was taken off then it was added back on at the bottom of the bill?! They have a bar area that is separate from the rest of the restaurant. They have a lot of seating with a mix of tables and booths. Bill was $70 for 2 tall beers, 1 well drink, 1 appetizer, burger and tacos. Plus tip was almost $90. Disappointing and not worth the money. The generous amount of complementary ingredients included spinach, sweet red peppers, bacon and was topped with generous slices of fresh avocado's. Nice! Probably the only other thing I would have added if at all was some cheese inside the omellet which was an option if desired. Definately a superior omelet that is in the top tier of what is offered in this area. The omelet also came with a side of seasoned home fries which was equally as tasty in its own right where the seasoning really added a flavor pop to the potato's. Relative to facility and staff, the restaurant is clean and bright with basic decor where they let the food do the talking here. The staff is extremely friendly and good with kids where out large party included 8 unruly and slightly wild grandkids (: Inspite of my grandkids best efforts to turn the place upside down these folks were friendly and verrrry understanding throughout and I give them high marks for that. Overall if you are looking for a top tier breakfast place and you are in the Milford area than this is definately a business to check out. This may have been my first visit here but it definately will not be my last.
