My central air conditioning stopped blowing cold air last night. As you can imagine, things got…read moreuncomfertable by mid-day today. It being a weekend, I needed to find a good reliable HVAC technician fast so my house would remain at a reasonable temperature. I am no stranger to extreme discomforts, either physical or emotional. That said, I did not want my dog to suffer. Unfortunately for him, I have raised him with a high degree of comfort, and a hot house would not do for this fragile creature (he's not really, I'm being hyperbolic). In any event, Just Better HVAC came to our rescue. After calling about 10 HVAC services with no success on a Sunday morning, they were here for us when we needed them. David, the technician and company owner, was at my house in less than an hour after calling. Fixed the unit by replacing the dual capacitor in no time. He was a super good dude as well! Mini crisis averted. Now I can go on with my day as originally planned. First world problems, ya know!

I have had nothing but trouble with my HVAC system for the last 6 years. So I've seen quit a few. When our HVAC blower motor decided to take a dive, he quickly diagnosed the situation and explained the options I was faced with. He did show up with the job start and made sure my requests were fulfilled. A few days later I went into the attic when completed. There was a nice thick and smooth "snowfall" over the entire attic. I was impressed. His son, who works for him, covered the catwalks too. That was okay since I knew where they are. I may clear them at a later time. It was like walking through a winter wonderland with all the white fluffiness. However, not great for making snow angels. LOL! Frank was the ONLY ONE who quickly reached out to me with an estimate after contacting three others. The others NEVER returned anything! Frank was busy since I did see his appointment book. It was a week later when two of his experienced employees arrived with a huge utility trailer. They were friendly, clean, and organized as well. The price of insulation has shot up. However, once it is done it is done. It will pay for itself in a short amount of time. Our house now feels like it is at a constant temperature throughout. I can't wait to see what any cold weather will be like. The attic is quieter as well. We only had 4-6" previously. Now, we are up to CODE REQUIREMENTS as Frank emphasis.

I contacted American Appliance Repair Corpus for of my whirlpool icemaker. I contacted them and they ordered a new icemaker and sent me a written quote for its installation. I also had to pay $169 upfront for the icemaker. One hour before they were to arrive, they called and said they had made a mistake and it wasn't going to be a $50 install but a $225 install. Of that amount it had to be paid before they would install it. this is after we had already paid them over $200 to service the existing icemaker. We debated the issue and they would not change their mind. One of the technicians hung his over our bar top and mysteriously my 45 year pin for the Masonic Lodge, a commemorative pocket knife, came up missing. The knife stays in the exact same place every time it is not in use The technicians left after they demanded that we pay cash only. The technicians left the new icemaker and we had a reputable company come out yesterday and said the unit had not been serviced correctly and that there was a burned connector which should have been easily noticed if it had been serviced properly We have left multiple messages for the American Appliance Repair to call us back, but they have failed to do so I would not recommend this company to anyone they advertise this company as a Christian philosophy, but that is far from the truth

I had a hard time at first trying to find an ac company that would come out on a weekend. After several frustrating calls to companies that claimed they were 24-7 service, I was finally able to reach a company that would come to my house on a Saturday at 9 pm. My wife and I were happy that relief was finally on its way, as it was starting to get pretty stifling in our house. The tech spent about 30 minutes looking at our unit, then knocked on our door to tell us the great news that we needed to replace our entire system!! The rough estimate was $6,000. Needless to say we didn't have a good nights sleep. The next morning, I called Annaville AC. Our neighbors had told us about their good experience with the company, so we followed suit. Within an hour on a Sunday morning we had a technician at our house, and he was giving us the details on what needed to be replaced- about $250 for parts and labor!! Needless to say, Annaville AC saved my family from a huge headache and having to spend our vacation fund. Do your research people, and always get second opinions. Highly recommend Annaville A/C. We started off with a different A/C company as I came home to a hot house. Got a A/C company out that same afternoon. Technician worked on it for a couple of hours and it cost me around $300. House never cooled off. Had to sleep in the heat. Called the company back next morning and they sent out another technician. He looked at it about an hour and informed me he didn't know what was wrong with it. He called his boss and his boss agreed to refund the money from the first service call. In the mean time, my neighbor recommended contacting Annaville A/C. Annaville A/C had a technician out within the hour of calling. The technician worked on it less than 10 min and total ticket was less than $80. That was about 3 weeks ago and the A/C is still working great. I highly recommend these guys if you need trust worth and knowledgeable technicians. read more

We have been having issues with our older AC system; we even had an AC maintenance contract with another AC company who would not return our call for an estimate. WE called Annaville AC and Isreal came out and gave us quotes to best serve our needs within hours. Isreal kept in contact with us as he was searching for the best price and solution for our needs. Isreal called us with an awesome price on a Rheem AC system. Isreal and Bryan were very professional and knowledgeable AC techs. They worked well as a team; they cleaned up as they were working and even disposed of our old AC system. They had the new AC System installed and our house cooling quickly. I recently had to have my AC/heater replaced. I called 2 companies for estimates. One took several days and came back with 3 estimates. Annaville came, and wrote the estimate the same day, several thousand dollars less. They were not the same brand, but reviews on Annaville brand were equally good. 3 people were involved in the other estimate, estimator, technician, & Installer. When you run them as much as mine do, they need regular service. Fortunately, these guys know just what they're doing. The ducts were installed in the 1950's for only heat. At some point cool air from air conditioner was added. The technician suggested replacing the old tin ducts with a newer material. The suggestion saved money. The day was agreed to start. The Henderson crew arrived early and worked into the early evening. They were able to complete all they could do that day. The vents were changing from circular vents to reticular. To complete the job the sheet rock person had to remove sheet rock. A few days later when the sheet rock was removed Henderson returned to complete anchoring the reticular vents. All Was Professionally: 1. The Technician 2. The Bid Was Explained 3. When I contacted two other companies they said that the two items replaced should take no more than 15 mins. Fast forward and we get this bill for $386.93 which included an additional 1 hour labor charge of $198???? The tech was here for an hour working (we have cameras that can confirm) then we saw him sitting in our garage on his cell phone, supposedly writing up a report. We feel this is overcharge of $198.00 and should be refunded otherwise their $90 *Special* is false advertising! Red's used to be a great AC company when the original owner was running the company and he was an honest and reputable person. The quality of his workmanship was what made him the 'go to company' for AC maintenance. He had a great reputation and everyone trusted his workmanship. However, when he retired and passed on the business it has changed and it's no longer about integrity and good customer service! I will no longer use them for any AC maintenance and would not recommend them!
