Anne-Claire shot our engagement and wedding photos, and we couldn't recommend her more highly. My husband is a filmmaker and dabbles in photography, so we knew that photography was going to be an important investment for us. Of all the portfolios we looked at (and we looked at MANY), Anne-Claire's was the only one that fit the style and attention to detail we were looking for, and working with her did not disappoint. All of our photos came out STUNNING, and she made absolute magic out of our couple portraits, which had to be taken entirely indoors due to the pouring rain the night of our wedding. She has such a good eye for light and framing, it was hard to narrow down favorites from either shoot because we loved SO MANY of our photos! We also really loved her style of shooting - she knew how to capture all the right moments at exactly the right times, but you otherwise didn't notice her unless necessary (like when shooting our family portraits). Anne-Claire was super responsive over email, very thorough in her shot planning before the wedding, and we'd jump at the chance to work with her again. Absolutely worth the investment for the beauty she captured in this huge milestone of our lives. read more

Anne-Claire is an incredible photographer and an all-around amazing person to work with. My wife and I were a bit nervous when hiring a photographer, since whoever you hire only gets one chance to capture such an important event. We felt so reassured after our initial talk with Anne-Claire when she explained her philosophy of capturing authentic emotions, human connection, and sense memories. These things really set her apart from your average wedding photographer; we know that years from now when we look through these photos, we won't just remember the events of the day, but also how we felt. Since we've started sharing our photos with people, we have been hearing nonstop praise about the quality of the photos. We highly recommend Anne-Claire - if you're looking for a photographer who will not just capture an event but also create incredible art, she's your person! read more

Anne-Claire is a master of her craft. I lucked into meeting her at 2 of my best friends' weddings. They are both art directors and hired Anne-Claire without knowing the other did too. If that is not a sign I don't know what is. When it was my turn to plan a wedding she was the first person I reached out to. We didn't have a date, venue, or really anything. All I knew for certain is all my other decisions would be made around her availability. Her work speaks for itself. While researching photographers, few came even close to her fine art quality photos. Working with her is a dream, and she made the planning and actual wedding day effortless and stress-free. On the morning of my wedding, she made me feel comfortable and was somehow magically present to take pictures but invisible at the same time. Even with a micro wedding of 8 people, looking at the photos and angles she was able to capture is astonishing. Anne-Claire was flexible too and when I wanted to look for a spot I had seen from the venue website, we took a detour. We didn't find the same green lush area due to the season, but with her masterful eye, she was able to capture some of the most unique photos through the branches of a magnolia tree. She has a natural talent and trained eye able to capture moments perfectly in an instant. I don't know what she does to the photos during color correction but they look like paintings and works of art. The whole day was a magical dream and she was able to capture the emotions and ambiance with a camera. She went above and beyond to surprise us with the most eye-dropping photography sneak peeks a couple of days later. Since our wedding was a secret I was able to quickly add them to our wedding site to share with our family and friends. Everyone was blown away and still raves about the photography and those were the sneak peeks! When the rest of the 800+ photos arrived my mind was blown. Every photo was perfect. The only problem I had was having to narrow down so many spectacular photos for my album! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for capturing one of the best days of our lives. We hired Anne-Claire for our engagement photos. She helped us to pick the best location for what we had in mind, and worked to understand exactly what we wanted before our shoot. During the photoshoot, she helped us to feel comfortable (we are both a bit camera shy), and showed us some pictures 3/4 of the way through to make sure she had captured everything we had in mind. She got our photos back to us very quickly, within one week from the shoot, and we could not be happier with them. Her use of light and her ability to capture emotions is amazing! I would absolutely work with her again. read more

Anne-Claire's pictures are incredible (her portfolio is ample evidence), and she did not disappoint on our wedding day. She was wonderful to work with, communicative, had key recommendations, made us feel very comfortable, and got all the shots we requested. Some were pretty challenging (like capturing my dog galloping down the aisle). The photos turned out gorgeous. I am so happy we had her as our photographer, and I think she offers the best value out there for this level of artistry. read more

Anne-Claire's stunning photos really speak for themselves. What you can't tell on paper, though, is how genuinely kind she is and such a pleasure to work with. We were lucky to have her take our engagement ("love session") and wedding photos, and we couldn't be happier with the results. I wasn't sure I wanted engagement photos initially, but I am SO glad that we did. Not only do we have amazingly gorgeous and memorable pictures from the very exciting time of being engaged, but we also had the chance to get to know Anne-Claire before our wedding day. After seeing our engagement photos, too, I had no doubt that our wedding photos would be phenomenal.. and they were! She is sweet, professional, thoughtful in her approach and really felt like a member of our family on the wedding day. She laughed and cried with us and managed to capture so many sweet moments. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!! read more

Anne-Claire was so fun and easy to work with! She had lots of great ideas for our engagement photo locations and even though she had never been to our wedding venue, she quickly scoped out the best shots and they turned out incredible! She has a great eye for lighting and and finds opportunities for epic "wall art worthy" scenes. Highly recommend! read more

After months, sometimes years of planning, your wedding day finally arrives. And it goes in the blink of an eye. All that remains are shared memories and photographs. Having a photographer that can capture the special moments, and the love between you and your partner is essential. My husband and I are beyond blessed and grateful to have had Anne-Claire as our wedding photographer. She has the amazing ability to capture not only the dynamic between a couple, but also the energy and atmosphere of a place. I look at her photos and it all comes back to me; I feel the chilly damp air, smell the woods, hear the crashing waves, and sense the peaceful stillness of the meadow. Her photographs are breathtakingly beautiful accounts of people, nature, and the love we promise one another. Anne-Claire was easy to work with and wonderful to be around. She has a lovely, positive personality and she added her own warmth and joyful vibrations to our wedding. Should my husband and I decide to have an epic vow renewal ceremony we'd hire her again in a heartbeat. read more

It goes without saying that one of the most important elements of the wedding day is having your photographer capture the details, both physical and emotional, that will remain engraved in your official wedding photos for the years to come. And for Guillaume, a passionate film photographer who is normally always the one behind the lens, the choice of our wedding photographer was always going to be a difficult one! But then we found Anne-Claire.... From the very moment we discovered her photographs (through our wedding planners Monsieur plus Madame), we knew we had found the perfect fit! From her all-important emphasis on soft and romantic natural lighting to the incredible energy and positivity she invested in photographing each and every important detail of the day, Anne-Claire captured the happiest day of our lives with such beauty and intimacy that we are able to relive the whole experience over and over again each time we look at her photos. In terms of professionalism, we have never seen a photographer work with such discretion as Anne-Claire. She somehow managed to photograph practically every moment of the day, from the intimate morning preparations through to the dancing in the early hours of the morning, with a graceful, inconspicuous presence. Choosing to work with Anne-Claire was one of the best investments we made and we could not be happier with the results of our wedding photos... elegant, romantic, and full of emotion! And what's more... it meant that we were able to meet a beautiful person who is passionate about her art. It was such a pleasure to have her as part of our wedding day and we will continue to recommend her to every couple we know who is looking for a fine art photographer to capture the beauty of their wedding day! read more

Anne-Claire was our photographer for our wedding and we couldn't have been happier. She professional and helpful throughout the whole process and offered a lot of great insight. Most importantly, the photos turned out perfectly, we love them!! read more

Anne-Claire knows how to give you beautiful pictures that you'll be happy to look at for a very long time. I was looking for a photographer who really knew how to work with natural light, and Anne-Claire knows exactly how to incorporate that into each frame, giving you light and effortless photos that capture special moments. Anne-Claire took our engagement and wedding photos, which both turned out so amazing. I think it was also very helpful for us during our wedding day that we had already worked with Anne-Claire a few months early because one I already knew the wedding photos would turn out great because the engagement photos were exactly what I was looking for, and two we already knew how to work with each other, which was helpful on a hectic day like your wedding day. read more

Oh gosh....how do I possibly begin to expand upon the wonder that is Anne-Claire? My now husband and I live in Atlanta, and decided to have a small, intimate, family only wedding in Sonoma County, CA. After spending hours online searching for the perfect photographer, my sister and I happened to stumble across Anna's Instagram page, and I knew that my search was over. From our first interaction, Anna was reactive, accommodating, and an absolute pleasure to work with. I was incredibly nervous that we wouldn't be able to meet with Anna prior to our wedding week, but from the moment that we met (3 days before the wedding for our engagement pictures), I knew that my nerves were silly. She absolutely went out of her way to accommodate all of our special requests, including various family and vineyard photos. There was no shot that she wasn't willing to crawl on her hands and knees on the ground (after about 20 straights of El Nino rain) for. The end result: absolutely stunning engagement AND wedding photos. She perfectly captured the intimacy and love of our wedding day. We will cherish every one of the amazing pictures that Anna took for us. From top to bottom, she is a top-notch, professional, fun, understanding, talented, great to work with photographer. She made for a wonderful photographic experience for us and we can't thank her enough. read more

Anne-Claire has photographed our wedding in Sept 2014 in France and we couldn't be happier with the experience and the result. The process before the wedding was very smooth, great communication. On the day, Anne-Claire knows what she needs and what she's doing. She managed to capture so many great photos (over 1000) still being discrete during the event. She has a great personality and it was a pleasure to share the special day with her. We already fell in love with her photographic style just looking at her portfolio, so we had no doubt she'd do a great job. But we just couldn't believe how well she was able to capture the atmosphere of the day through her photography. She's not on the clock and made it all very easy for us. read more

I will treasure our wedding photos for the rest of my life -- Anne-Claire did an absolutely incredible job of capturing the magic of that day, and I am so thankful. She creates absolutely stunning, natural photos (my favorites are the candids, through our portraits turned out wonderfully as well!). On top of this, she was extremely flexible and helpful during the planning process as we rescheduled not once but twice due to COVID and was very understanding during what was a stressful time for everyone (normal wedding planning stress aside!). All of this to say, if her photography style resonates with you, book her ASAP and don't look back! read more

Anne-Claire was incredibly flexible and met us in a remote location in Sea Ranch. She worked magic to capture beautiful photos of our family -- with 2 young kids and even a dog. She provided our digital files so quickly. We have so many photos that we absolutely love -- both candid (so many great ones of the kids naturally playing!) as well as ones of us all looking at the camera. We will absolutely work with Anne-Claire again. I absolutely recommend her! read more

I would highly recommend working with Anne-Claire! She did our photography for our wedding in Healdsburg and could not have made the process any easier. She really listened to what our hopes and expectations were, offered great suggestions, and she captured so many great candids without us even knowing she was there in the moment! read more

Anne-Claire is an amazing photographer. Her pictures tell a story in such a way that allow you to relieve your wedding day. She captured all of the emotion and special moments of our day in a truly authentic way. Of course we got our staged photos, but Anne-Claire is a true artist who sees the moment and captures it before it's gone. So many moments in our wedding day were fleeting, but upon receiving our photos, it's like I got to be a guest at my own wedding. That's a priceless gift. She stayed longer than expected and hustled throughout the entire day. She was 100% present, engaged, and on top of it during our entire wedding. I would recommend her to anyone looking for an exceptional photographer. read more

We are so grateful to have found Anne- Claire! We wanted to take last minute photos in NYC because that's where we got engaged. We searched and searched and I fell in love with her photos. Thank fully she was available that weekend. We flew in, and there was a HUGE snow storm. So I didn't think our photos would happen. I called her the next morning to see if she was available and thank fully she was and they came out AMAZING. So not only was she as cute as a button with her french accent, she had such an eye for her craft. I would recommend her to anyone. Our photos turned out so great that we even got featured in Style Me Pretty NYC! Thank you Claire! We love love love our photos! read more

Anne-Claire is the BEST and her photography is fantastic!! I wouldn't hesitate even one second to recommend her for wedding photos (or really any occasion). We got married in New York City this past January. From our first contact before the event, she was extremely engaged and responsive. I could tell that she really cared about making our wedding photos exactly what we wanted them to be. We spoke over Skype and over email a few times leading up to the day and I was consistently impressed with her high level of service. She also worked very well with my wedding planner. On the day of, I couldn't have been happier working with Anne-Claire. I honestly really don't like getting my picture taken and I was pretty sure I would feel super uncomfortable in front of the camera. However, that wasn't the case at all with Anne-Claire! She made me feel completely comfortable and was super encouraging. I also often forgot that someone was taking my picture, which is probably the best way to feel. I always felt like she was taking the necessary pictures, but was certainly not in our way or anything like that. Anne-Claire is also just a really nice person and who doesn't want to be surrounded by nice people on your wedding day!! She was lovely to chat with on the day of and really made the whole photo process super easy. We had a big wedding party (16 people and some additional family members) and everything still went smoothly. I actually told Anne-Claire before the wedding that I had never seen a picture of myself that I liked so I was pretty nervous to get the photos back. However, the photos are AMAZING! She got them back to us super quickly and I was most impressed with how she was able to capture all of the "moments" of the day. The pictures really bring me back to all the various moments and they have a real emotional quality to them. They are certainly not just a series of pictures; they truly tell the story of the day. I am so happy to have a collection of photos like this as I know it will help us really remember the day for years to come. Oh, and Anne-Claire also provided some of the pictures with her special "treatments". I am not a photography expert, but it was great to have our photos in color, black and white and some of the special treatments. So much to look at!! And now, even after the event, Anne-Claire is still super responsive. She is helping us put our photo book together. It looks great and she is completely open to helping us make it look exactly how we want it to. From start to finish, I couldn't have asked for a better wedding photography experience! We have received so many compliments on our photos. Everyone loves them! read more

Anne-claire is amazing! He has an incredible eye, and is very non-intrusive. she prefers to roam and shoot candids during the ceremony, and she did an excellent job capturing the feel of the day. Her posed shots are also excellent, especially with the way she uses natural light and large spaces to highlight the subject. I highly recommend her. read more

Anne-Claire is truly incredible at what she does. I can't count the number of wedding photographers I looked at before finding Anne-Claire--but when I saw her work it was love at first sight. Her work is just so beautiful--whether you happen to know the people in her pictures or not. Having never planned a wedding before, I balked at the going rate of wedding photographers. But after getting back our wedding pictures from Anne-Claire I understood the value of having these most precious moments captured for us to enjoy for the rest of our lives. Her work is worth every cent and more. From our very first correspondence I knew I was really going to like working with her. She was sweet, helpful, and responded to my emails promptly. She was well organized and made sure that I had all the information I needed from her, and she had all the information she needed from me, well in advance. I really appreciated her willingness to come see and familiarize herself with the wedding venue prior to the day of the wedding. All throughout the process, I felt that Anne-Claire was just as invested as I was in making sure that we got the best product possible. The day of the wedding she moved around us imperceptibly. I don't know how she did it--but she captured so much without me really being aware of her presence. My husband and I were brought to tears when we first saw our wedding photographs. It wasn't just the pictures she had taken of us together--which were beautiful--we were in love with the pictures she took of our parents, our friends, the children, the venue, and all the little details that will help us remember throughout our lives what it felt like to be in that special moment. Anne-Claire has a unique gift of being able to look through her lens and find the art that already exists in each moment. She captured that day for us--the beauty, the emotion, the magic. I can't recommend Anne-Claire highly enough! read more

Anne-Claire photographed our wedding in April and everything came out wonderfully! She is extraordinarily talented, as you can tell from looking at any of her photos. But she is also such a fun and friendly person to work with. She showed up early and worked tirelessly getting coverage of every little detail. She sent us the finished photos on time and we were thrilled with how they turned out. All the photos she took of our wedding are stunning. We highly recommend her! read more

We had such a wonderful experience with Anne-Claire for our wedding and adoption photos. We love the photos so SO much and she was just wonderful to work with. I couldn't recommend her more. We had a VERY small wedding (in fact, she was one of 5 there) and I wouldn't change a thing. read more

Anne-Claire captured every moment of my wedding day in Joshua Tree exquisitely. Her photographs are romantic and candid, more importantly Anne-Claire is a kind and professional individual. I was almost an hour late to my wedding and was lost on the way to the park (where the ceremony took place), Anne-Claire was comforting and calmed me down. I work as an art advisor at Sotheby's and I highly recommend Anne-Claire. I contacted more than 30 photographers in both US and Europe and wanted someone whose photographic styles represented closely to film photography. Anne-Claire is easy to work with and captures beautiful photographs under time constraint and pressure. She is also very meticulous and will remember the photographs you want to have to take for the wedding. You will be asked to list pictures of family and friends for Anne-Claire a few months before the wedding. One of the most memorable photos Anne-Claire took is of me and my husband jumping in the pool with my wedding dress on. Anne-Claire was accommodating and stayed an extra hour to finished the photos I wanted to have to be taken. I could not have asked for a better photographer to capture my wedding in Joshua Tree. read more

When we started looking for a photographer for our wedding in Calistoga in April of 2015, we knew we wanted someone who loved their job and we definitely found that with Anne-Claire. Her passion for wedding photography comes through in all of her photos. She truly seemed to care about capturing our special memories of the day. She took the time to get to know us as a couple and to come visit the site to find the best spots and lighting. Her excitement about our gorgeous wedding venue only made us more confident in the decision to hire her. On the day of the event, she arrived early and stayed late. My mom commented to me the next day that she wasn't sure she saw the photographer all night and yet Anne-Claire managed to capture nearly every important moment with several photos to choose from in a way that still enabled our guests to enjoy the day without any disruption. We received all of our photos within a month of the event. Each one is more beautiful that the next. I shared them with the owner of the property where we got married and he said they are the most beautiful wedding photos he's seen. We are delighted with the final product and feel that hiring Anne-Claire was one of the most important and best decisions we made in the wedding planning process. read more

Anne-Claire is the absolute sweetest and wonderful to work with. We were planning to get married in Healdsburg CA the weekend of the wildfires in October 2018 and ended up having to move our wedding to San Francisco with 48 hours notice. Anne-Claire was flexible, accommodating, and had the best attitude throughout all of the changes. Even though our wine country wedding turned into an urban city wedding, Anne-Claire rolled with the punches and found cool spots to get shots (and she was on the dance floor taking pictures of our guests until the very end of the night!). Our photos are dreamy and captured our wedding day perfectly. Thank you, Anne-Claire! read more

Anne-Claire is so incredibly talented. I spent a long time researching photographers, but once I found Anne-Claire, no other photographer could compare. I am so beyond happy with how our photos turned out. We are still receiving compliments on our album, people say they it looks editorial. She knows how to tell a full story with her photographs and uses lots of sunlight so everything looks soft and lovely. Her shots are artfully composed but candid at the same time. I couldn't recommend her more highly. But don't take my word for it, have a peek for yourself and you'll surely be delighted: http://anneclairebrun.com/blog/category/wedding/ read more

Anne Claire is an exceptionally talented and photographer and amazing person! We hired her for both our engagement photos and April 2015 wedding in Hopland, California. We were looking at several different photographers, even some from Los Angeles, and were willing to pay for travel fees in order to hire someone we absolutely loved. Before we met her, we knew from her blog and website that we loved and admired her work, and then when we finally met her in person, there was no question that she was the perfect choice for us. We were thrilled when we found out that she lived locally to where our wedding was located, which was a total coincidence. We loved her so much, we honestly would have hired her from across the country! She made us feel so comfortable from our very first meeting with her. She has such a natural and organic approach to her work, and captures the most raw and genuine of moments. She is one of the hardest working people I have ever seen, and was absolutely the hardest working vendor at our wedding. We had her and her husband as the 2nd shooter, and he was also so talented and fun to work with! We are so lucky to have come across the both of them, and feel so grateful to them for being a part of our day. If you are looking for the real deal in fine art photography, I cannot say enough great things about Anne Claire and would very highly recommend her. read more
