When my family entered the restaurant, we immediately like the rustic country decor. We were immediately greeted by a woman who confirmed our reservations and showed us to our table. The restaurant was quickly filling up and it took a few moments for a server to come to our table. After about 15-20 minutes it seemed like the staff got it going and food was coming out to tables and customers that ordered the Mother's Day brunch were getting their food quickly. My kids ordered the chocolate chip pancakes. One with game and one with sausage. My daughter is very picky with her pancakes and ate them all. I had the brunch. I had eggs Benedict, spinach omelette, ham and cheese omelette, bacon, fresh fruit, and two croissants. The food was delicious and fresh. I highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to stopping by again.

They were immediately yelled at and told they could not sit there unless they ordered from the dinner menu. My father politely explained that we were ordering sandwiches and that his daughter had just flown in. The owner said it didn't matter--if we weren't ordering off the dinner menu, we had to leave. As a result, we were forced to eat in our car in the middle of winter. Great food does not excuse disrespectful, unkind treatment--especially toward elderly customers. My wife ordered the pancakes and sausage while I opted for the 3 egg breakfast (sunny side up, always) with some bacon and rye toast. My wife raved about her pancakes and was able to get sugar-free syrup with her meal. Portions were generous and food came out quickly. Our waitress was friendly and kept drink refills of water, juice, and coffee rolling. Prices are reasonable and the menu was quite large. Lunch is also available and we'd love to come out and try that sometime. Mary's succeeds in what makes a good diner worth driving to. My only drawback would be the wait to get a table on the weekend if you arrive at the wrong time. It was standing room only when we left.
