Lovely little gem. Enjoyed a delicious steak dinner served with a blackberry demi glaze. Sides were garlic mashed potatoes and sautéed zucchini. Nancy Kelly treated us to some wonderful jazz songs. Nicely decorated, very clean, and the servers are all friendly and attentive. It was a great evening. Took a slice of white chocolate raspberry cheesecake home for later. read more

Food was decent: smash burgers a little on the small side, chicken skewers were overly charred but tasty. Bbq chicken and beans were great, fries excellent. Ambience very cute, William Morris motif. However, the AC was very cold and uncomfortable. We could see other patrons rubbing their arms like they were trying to keep warm also. We mentioned to our server (who was competent and friendly) that it was quite cold but it stayed chilly. They do have outside seating and we probably should have opted to sit out there. Though the process of securing a reservation was daunting and we had to take to the FB to get local help - we were finally successful in booking a party of 6 on a snowy blustery night! The decor in this new establishment is warm and lovely and we arrived to a restaurant with about 7-8 full tables around 6:30 on a Thursday. The staff are incredibly welcoming and attentive. We each ordered a cocktail (6) to start and 2 apps to share- pull apart bread- very very tasty and plenty for 6 people- we actually ate every bit of it! Lolol Then on to the entrees -my brother ordered the 1/2 roasted Amish Chicken, I along with my sister in law ordered the Riggies and our brother in law and other sister in law ordered the Grilled Bavette steak- my partner had the spaghetti with chicken meatballs- honestly there is no need to critique these individually as everyone really enjoyed their meals- like- A LOT! Only one of us (roasted chicken) took the leftovers home. All very generous portions and delicious. Cocktails were on point as well except for the Old Fashioned- it was perhaps the reddest one my partner had ever had. We are guessing that they sweetened it with Red Vermouth which is actually what is used in a Manhattan. So that was a miss. On to dessert- myself and my brother in law ordered the apple pie. It's important to note that if one is a fan of traditional apple pie that the server should explain that the pie they serve is a Dutch Apple pie of which I am not a fan. None the less- it was pretty tasty and served with a caramel sauce. All in all the bill for two of us with 3 cocktails, 2 entrees, 2 apps (we picked up this charge) and 1 dessert came to about $113. This to us, is on point. The restaurant is a new addition to the town of Fulton and I am told is owned by the folks who run Red Sun Fire Roasting Company in Oswego (we are a fan of that establishment too!) They will most certainly work out whatever small kinks they are experiencing as a new restaurant and we hope that they are around for a long time! Def recommend folks to give them a try!! read more

It's GORGEOUS inside, absolutely stunning! We had a late lunch of all appetizers including pull apart bread, crab tower, zucchini fried perfectly. The zucchini dipping sauce was amazing. Paired it with the crispiest salted rim Paloma and just wow! Service was great and cannot wait to return for dinner! read more

What a amazing spot for a bite to eat or drinks and appetizers! Super friendly staff. We ordered the Love Bird cocktail and the Summer Ale. The Love Bird was a bit tart and sweet! Would love that again and again. The beer.. well it's beer! We had the friend zucchini appetizer. The dipping sauce was odd looking until I tried it. It wassss sooooo good!! 3 out of the 4 of us had buffalo chicken wings... DEFINITELY a must!! They just hit the summer menu today. Fresh & meaty wings with a tasty buffalo sauce. The dipping dressing are homemade and perfect pairing with the wings! We also had the Asian friend chicken sandwich. The sauce my was favorite!! This was a great pick for lunch (thanks Yelp!). If I'm ever back in the area I will certainly go out of my way to see what's new on the seasonal menu!! read more

We loved LorBird! We are foodies from NYC and had no idea what kinds of restaurants we would find in Fulton. We were delighted to find LorBird where the food is fresh and simple with a creative twist, delicious, and feels healthy! The service is helpful and friendly. The owner came out to chat and is super interesting and welcoming. We ate the fried zucchini which seemed to be flash fried and a bit crispy and light. The spicy spring roles and the fried chicken were both crispy and fresh with amazing sauces. Finally, the Caesar Salad was fresh and crispy with the perfect dressing. All yummy!!! read more

First time visiting this eatery. We were not disappointed, it was amazing! The staff were friendly and attentive, made sure we had drinks on the table very quickly. The restaurant has a cool steam punk/industrial vibe, and is very clean and orderly. To the food... one word, AMAZING! Steaks cooked perfectly, flavors blended well, heck I even liked the green beans, and I don't like green beans; but, these were awesome! So glad to have found this place. We happened to be in the area for an appointment and thought we'd try to find some place outside of our home town area (Liverpool/Baldwinsville) for a change. I'm so glad we did!! Apparently a newly opened establishment that did not spare any expense in building/decorating as you can see by the photos I've attached. Beautiful bar area and a tastefully decorated dining area. We were there for lunch. There wasn't a thing that didn't sound appealing to us on the menu. Ordered the Greek sampler platter as a shared appetizer as the were out of the calamari appetizer. Funny it was a toss up between the two and we both agreed that we were happy to have settled on our "2nd choice" as it was #1 all the way!!! For our lunches we both were drawn to the tempura fried chicken, again extremely pleased with our choices. Everything high quality, cooked to perfection, beautiful presentations and most importantly wonderful in taste!! Our server was so pleasant and attentive and took the time to let us know more about the establishment like the derivation of the name of the restaurant which is a nickname of the owner given her by her father. Do yourself a favor no matter how far you might be from this place, take the drive out as it'll be well worth it. It only took us about 20-25 minutes from the Liverpool/Baldwinsville area and it's easily found once off Rte 481. We're so looking forward to our next visit!!!!! read more

Fulton has a wonderful new restaurant! The cocktail menu has creative, trendy drinks, as well as the tried and true classics. The food menu consists of comfort foods with upscale twists like spaghetti with chicken meatballs, meatloaf with mushrooms, roasted chicken with Parmesan rosemary stuffing and green beans, and homemade pot pie. By far, my favorite thing on the menu was the fried calamari with a lemon caper sauce so good I wanted to lick the plate! The wait staff was professional and friendly, checking back frequently to make sure all of our needs were met. The remodeled interior and exterior of the building are tastefully sophisticated, with outdoor seating for the summer. The parking lot seemed crowded when we arrived, and we worried about getting a table, but there were several available. LorBird is now in my top 5 restaurants in the area!! read more

Wanted to try a new venue and support local business in Fulton. Ordered the fried chicken with honey butter. I was disappointed. It lacked the flavor I was expecting. Tastes like a rotisserie chicken that I had to add salt and pepper to as it lacked seasoning. Maybe it was a one time thing and caught it on an off night. We had dinner there last night, started off with the calamari which was delicious and original as it was served with a caper butter sauce and arugula, not your basic marinara that everyone else does. Very original and perfectly cooked, would only suggest a tad more of the sauce. Mom followed that with the spicy pasta and shrimp which was also delicious, unique in that the sauce was light and creamy and had a light crisp to the top with breadcrumbs. My girlfriend got the 1/2 roasted Amish chicken, with an herb/bread stuffing, loved it. I chose the crispy turkey wings with a gumbo gravy, mashed taters and spinach. Off the hook good, perfect comfort food on a chilly night. Service was ok, our waitress could have been more engaging as this restaurant has only been opened for about 6 weeks, don't be afraid to engage your guests! We'll be back again very soon. Delicious and fresh. Wait staff were very friendly. Just a suggestion, pace out the appetizer & dinner a little better. We weren't finished with our appetizer and dinner was brought out. Also when handling glassware, don't hold it on the rim where people drink from. Always hold from the bottom of glass. Wait staff's hands & nails should be clean and trimmed - not long dirty nails with multi colored nail polish and dirty. The long anticipated opening of LorBird Restaurant in Fulton, NY happened recently. I have watched the slow progress for months and months. My children took me there for my birthday this past Friday. I was astonished at the crowd. Their fairly large parking lot was full and cars were parked along the street and around the block. The building has gone through several do-overs during the last several decades but had most recently been empty for several years. Upon entering I don't know what impressed me most. The unique decor,the wonderful cooking aromas or the number of people having a great time. Their opening menu is somewhat limited but certainly there could be found something for everyone. Our delightful and knowledgeable waitress attended to us promptly after being seated by the hostess. I would say reservations during peak times would be a necessity. The open floor plan and the interesting "bird" motif kept my eyes moving. There was an active amount of lounge customers on one end, blending into the dining area on the other end. During appropriate weather, I am advised that there is going to be outdoor and rooftop seating. Our waitress was most helpful in explaining the appetizers, signature drinks, entrées, and sandwich offerings. The appetizers and cocktails came promptly and an appropriate amount of time intervened before dinner was served. I ordered Faroe Island Salmon. Perhaps the best Salmon dish I have ever had. I'm going to sound foolish if I keep going, however, the food, the service, and the ambience were perfect. At one point I thought this restaurant needs to be three times size, then I thought that would probably ruin everything. We have other good restaurants in town, but this place just came as such a surprise. I felt I needed to comment. This is actually the first Yelp review I've ever done, LorBird is that good. read more
