However, I like having a local office that knows who I am when I call to make odd changes to my policies. For a while, we had someone steal our car title and fradulently get a loan on it, so we had to get our agent office to ONLY accept any changes to our policies if the change was accompanied by a photocopy of our driver licenses, and verify the changes by calling us at home, etc. -- and they were happy to go the extra for us. We just recently moved to Brookings, and ended up with Allen's office in the harbor. The people there are very helpful, prompt, and getting to learn my name. It's all good.

The owner is NOT onsite so watches you via camera apparently, as he told me he watched me having problems with a machine that he "gets called about every single day". He became argumentative when I suggested posting instructions on the machine and said there isn't anything he can do to help because he lives 30 minutes away. I am out $10, which isn't huge, but will not come back here again due to the extreme disregard of service. I'll go back to Indian Creek RV site and pay $1 for a wash, and $1 for dryer. Sir, I truly hope you realize Just because you may not have much if any competition, it is the good thing to do to take care of your customers as you'd like to be cared for, AND put instructions up on the machine I phoned you about.
