This was the second shop we went to so we had a good idea of what we liked and didn't like. Taylor assisted us and did a very nice job. She asked my daughter several questions then pulled several dresses that were on target. It was a very busy place. We had the 'rose room' in the back which was nice. It was lovely that they offered water and champagne to us. My daughter changed in a nearby room then had to walk to the 'stage' where we could see the dress. The lighting and mirrors were all nice. A similar style dress was a few hundred dollars more expensive here than in another shop we visited. Taylor did a nice job. She didn't ask as many questions as the other shop we went to but the dresses she pulled were right on. Parking in this area can be challenging but the nearby ramp provided ample parking. The shop was very cute and cozy. There were at least 3-5 groups in there so it was quite loud and busy. While we didn't get our dress from here, we had a very good experience. This shop was highly recommended by my daughter's friends. read more

I loved that the process to make an appointment was super easy and wasn't getting bombarded with a lot of communication. You get to answer a few question in the beginning to help you out the day of. This shop has beautiful beautiful dresses. I loved their selection and fell in love with a dress here and my gosh I can't stop thinking about it. I had such a great team (bridesmaids) helping me out and honestly can't rave enough about this place. It's so hard picking a gown and having a stylist helping you out go though different styles is super helpful. I didn't feel pressured to make a decision then about the dress but I left feeling like I had found the one. Now I did continue dress shopping as I'm pretty early on my journey but know that when it comes to making a decision at the end it will come down to one of the dresses in this store ( not the one pictured here) Honestly trying on dresses can be uncomfortable for people that don't have the type of body dresses are designed for so I'm keeping that in mind. I'm petite, midsize, and on the curvier side so I already knew when I tried on dresses they wouldn't fit me completely or some wouldn't go passed my hips which was fine but I was still made super comfortable! To get park here you are definitely going to want to use the parking garage near by or try to find street parking but that can be a bit difficult. I had suck a great experience here and will be coming back again to try on the dress I fell in love with. read more

The sales associates were extremely rude to me when I picked up my dress and charged the card on file in full without permission before I even got to see the dress in person. I wasn't going to post a review for that and just let it go, but then this morning on the day of my wedding, I opened the bag with my veil and it's not at all the veil that I ordered. I called the store, and despite acknowledging that the wrong veil was placed in my bag and being able to see on their system the exact designer and everything for the wrong veil I was given, the associate only said they could probably refund me for the veil I paid for and didn't receive but that she would have to check with the owner first. Absolutely insane to acknowledge I didn't receive something I paid for and say that the best they can do is probably refund me but no guarantee. If I need to, I'll dispute with my credit card but how disappointing. Acknowledge your error and make it right. I wish I got my dress elsewhere. Unfortunately, I didn't find my dress at Annika, but my shopping experience at Annika was by far the best I had in the Twin Cities area and I'd HIGHLY recommend any bride looking for a dress to visit Annika! When I walked into Annika, I had already visited 3 bridal shops and had not found anything that I liked. I was worried I'd never find something that felt like "me", but after leaving Annika, I felt like I had 2 beautiful options and was feeling so much better in general about wedding dress shopping. Pros: - Easy to make an appointment with their online booking system. - Kate and Annie, the owners, are both amazing! They were super welcoming and immediately made my family and I comfortable in their environment. They are experts in bridal and have great taste. - I was not the easiest client, but Annie and Kate immediately picked up on what I was liking and what I wasn't (no crinoline, please!) and chose dresses for me that fit that description. - All the dresses in the store have prices on them, so there is no question about the cost of a dress. I was working with Annie, and she was very conscious of my budget the entire time. - No hard selling - When I left, Annie wrote down my 2 favorites and said she'd get back to me after contacting the designer about potential customizations I was inquiring about. Cons: - None. I wish I had found my perfect dress here, because I would have loved to work with Annie and Kate more! If you are in the market for a wedding dress, you will not regret going to Annika. I cannot say enough about the consultants and employees working here. They don't act like they are working--they act with passion, determination, and excitement. I was visiting my sister in Minneapolis and we decided to check out a few bridal boutiques in the metro -- I'm from Chicago so no sales tax in MN was a huge selling point for me! A 15 minute drive from Minneapolis, Annika by far had the best dress selection and customer service. I worked with their store manager, Rachel, and she was extremely kind, patient, and fun! Knowing that I was from out of state, she went above and beyond to make sure that I found my dream dress during my visit. There were a number of things I specifically liked here: - I was able to walk through the store, examine each dress and pick the styles I wanted to try. I understand this is not necessarily the norm and an aspect that was important to me when I scheduled my appointment. I'm from Boston and was in Minnesota for work with some friends/colleagues. A couple of us decided to go dress shopping since myself and another friend both got engaged around the same time. A truly magical experience. I visited Annika Bridal after going to a few shops in Minnesota, a few shops in Arizona and a few shops in San Francisco...Needless to say, I was struggling to find my dress. That's where Annika comes in. Their selection of designers and styles is truly unlike anything I've seen anywhere else - the owners have done an exceptional job at curating tasteful, timeless gowns. I worked with Rachel, who was incredibly sweet and professional. After learning about my style, budget, etc., she was able to identify a designer who makes stunning dresses that totally fit what I was looking for. Even better, she helped me work with the designer to customize my dress - i.e. adding a train, adding eyelash lace to the top, changing tulle tones, etc. I probably made 10 last-minute switches to the order and Rachel was able to make every single one work.
