These pple will have you wait for hours just to not be serviced. They will walk in with their friends or call them and let them skip the line in front of everyone. You will wait for hours as people who just show up, will skip right in front of you. They all have horrible attitudes and bad customer service. Theres only one technician (Trinh) that does a great job and because of that she's never available. I've been going to this place for a while only because it's 4 minutes from my house. Otherwise it's not great. They don't have good customer service which is not surprising, I haven't been to many nail salons that do unless they're a part of an actual spa. This last trip to Ann's Nails will be my last. I went to get a gel manicure and had a terrible reaction. I went back a few days later to have my gel polish removed and they couldn't even do that properly. I later had to soak my nails in acetone at home to get the remaining gel polish off. My once healthy strong nails were filed down so thin that they keep bending and breaking. That's not okay. I will not return and would not recommend. read more

(I'll edit this after going back again, as this was only my first time) My nails were very damaged from a rough nail tech at another salon, and I came here (based on good google reviews) to get the gel off and get some regular polish until my nails heal. The girl was very gentle with my nails (not even knowing there was damage), didn't make me bleed at all from the cuticle cutting, and did a nice cute job painting them. I'm not giving 5* because they didn't use lotion on my hands or anything (I like that aspect of a manicure), but I'm very happy and will return to try them again :) read more

My mom and I came here because we were dying for pedicures and Ann's was the only place that got back to us. It was recommended by one of my mom's coworkers. The staff was great about practicing social distance. They all wore masks and gloves. The only negative was I felt a bit rushed. Kim does an excellent job. Unfortuately, I tried to get my nails done yesterday. Even though they have the sign "Walk-ins accepted", I decided to call. Kim said she did not have time that day. I then rearranged my schedule to make an appointment for today. I got there on time. Kim was busy with another customer. I sat there for at least 15 minutes until Kim told me she had no time today and I should reschedule for another day. She was complaining something about me not telling her I had gel on top of the acrylic on the phone. I did tell her exactly what services I wanted when I called. I refused to make another appointment (she did not honor my appointment anyway!) and will be going to another salon. Yes, they do a good job, but so do other salons. ***UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT*** Went in to get a French manicure for a wedding (as I've done 100's of times here, under old management). Went to the new guy, part of the new management, as he was available. They turned out awful, after him taking a very long time. I needed to leave & thought I would come back in a day or (2) to get them fixed before my event. Get to the salon, (2) days later, to get the fix. The girl that fixed them agreed that they were bad & called it a "sloppy job" & apologized. Went to leave & was stopped by the guy who did my nails the 1st time, telling me there was a charge of $20 to change the polish! I stated that he did a horrible job just (2) days prior & I wasn't changing the polish, just fixing his sloppy work. Was told that in order for there to be no charge that I needed to go back to him! Do NOT go here. This place is awful! I was looking for a new salon as my salon was pretty pricey, and checked this place out because the location is convenient. I have literally never had a worse nail salon experience. My acrylic is completely misshapen, clumpy, completely different lengths and uncomfortable. The tech cut me multiple times, never apologized. I tried to guide the tech in what I wanted but she completely ignored me and continued to do what she wanted, which turned out terrible. I'm so upset that I wasted my money on this, as I'm going to have to go back to my old salon and beg them to fix it. Would've been better off paying the extra $20 in the first place. Trinh did my nails. The salon was a recommendation from a coworker who raved about their services. I had a bad gel job from another salon; peeling and cracking gel nails :( The salon is large and it was busy (but it was Saturday). There was a nice and extensive selection of colors to choose from. Not a long wait before I was serviced by Trinh. We talked about HGTV while I got my nails done. She made sure to explain why my gel nails were coming apart at the seams and repaired them. I love, love the finished look! So disappointed on the outcome of my nails. I requested ombré dip powder and the tech did a terrible job. My nails were not blended and the nails look all different...plus the tech was VERY rude. I just came in here to get my eyebrows done before getting my brother from school, I walked in it was very clean and well let, but she had me sign in for eyebrows...never had to do that but whatever. Tech shows me to the waxing room (she had pretty good English) and told me to wait, a few min later the tech came, went right to waxing, no warning but the wax was not hot which is always a plus! She did a diligent job with pulcking, and the little scissors device. The end result it was $7, which I think is very pricey for eyebrows since where I go they charge $5 but I was in a bind so I had to do what I had to do..I didn't see their price listing for other services but due to the price of waxing, I don't think I will return for other services. read more

The only good thing about this place is that you don't have to wait too long. The woman who did my pedi/Mani rushed both. I got gel on my nails and she didn't even put the first liquid coat you're supposed to put on before the gel. The polish is spotty and this "design" she did..I said I didn't want it but she insisted...a little too pushy. If I ever go back I'll make sure I go with someone who knows what they're doing and doesn't rush. I went back in on 6/27 and Ann quickly fixed my nails for me for free. I appreciated that! Made an appointment for a pedicure and was not notified I needed to tell them I wanted a spa pedicure at the time of making the appointment. Showed up for my appointment 20 mins early (appt was for 2 pm) and was not sat until 2:20 pm. In the time I was waiting someone came for an unscheduled appt to have their gel taken off and they were seen before me. When I was seated I was refused a spa pedicure and told I could only do a regular pedicure. If I was told this prior I would have made the appointment for a spa pedicure but nobody clarified on the phone when I called... I wasted almost an hour of time which is incredibly frustrating. I have never been to a salon that refuses to provide services... it would be helpful in the future if when scheduling clients you notify them that they must specify the type of pedicure they would like. I love this nail salon. Even though it's a bit pricey, it's worth it. Before coming to this nail salon, my nails had fungus caused by the previous nail salon I went to on Loney Street. Got the dip nail polish and realized I didn't like the color and it did not look like the swatch they had on the nails, the tech continued to say it was already to late to change the color and that I wanted yellow. Then the owner came over and handled my complaint very rude she said that colors dont usually match the swatch and tried to cover this polish with an even uglier color. I have never been so upset and disappointed in a salon. I regularly get my nails done and have never experienced this . I have 4 gashes in my fingers from the nail tools after getting my nails done here. One gash is incredibly deep and was bleeding on the table. I told the nail technician multiple times she was hurting me and turned around my hands and showed her the blood. All I got was a short sorry and was still charged full price. Been going to Ann's for a few years now, wouldn't change! This is the cleanest, best maintained nail salon in the city and believe me, I've been to many, in the neighborhood and in town. Ann's is the best, so of course, it gets crowded at the usual busy hours, right after work, Saturdays, but I find if I time my going there right, I can get in and out appropriately. Prices are way cheaper than in town....$7.00 for brows is definitely cheap than other salons and definitely done better here too! The techs are the best, will do whatever it takes to please the customer and I've seen them put up with a lot of nonsense from old ladies and women bringing in little girls which ties up a tech and a station when "serious" customers are waiting.
