The greens and tuna practically occupied the whole plate, which was accompanied by a separate bowl of salad dressing and a pack of crackers. I enjoyed the salad so much that I nearly forgot about the crackers. There's no doubt if I ever drop by again around noon or after, I'll order it again. I want to mention that I had breakfast here before, too. I highly recommend the barbacoa, which tastes like it was grilled the way vaqueros (cowboys) in South Texas do theirs. The atmosphere is welcoming, relaxing, and perfect for enjoying a meal outdoors. What kept me coming back, though, is the staff. They are incredibly kind and always make me feel welcome. It's such a nice feeling to be greeted warmly and recognized as a returning guest. I've even celebrated my birthday here, which says a lot about how much I enjoy this place. As a bonus, there's a vintage thrift shop upstairs that I always love browsing before or after my meal. It adds even more charm to the experience and makes every visit feel a little special. The refried black beans were sadly underwhelming - no real flavor. I know they were homemade but they were missing the flavor that usually comes with refried beans (black or pinto) My wife had the quiche which had onions, peppers, sausage, mushrooms and cheese. It was very good. Even the crust was good. She ordered the breakfast potatoes as the side. The flavor of the potatoes was excellent. Half of them were lightly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside which were great; the other half were overcooked and became potato chips - good flavor but not a breakfast potato.
