This was the first neurologist who I consulted with after moving to DFW. He had me on Nadolol for migraines which did nothing to help me whatsoever. I asked to have a MRI done numerous times over a 3 month period, but he refused until my Chiropractor wrote him a letter demanding it. The 1st MRI report came back with a 8mm cerebellar tonsil herniation consistent with Arnold Chiari Malformation I and said a 2nd MRI should be done of my C and T Spines to rule out the existence of a syrinx (Syringomyelia). Luckily, those were negative. TheBrickWall was 30 minutes late to my appoinment and when we finally got back to his office he showed me the films from the first MRI and pointed to where my brain had literally fallen out of my skull and said. "See that part of your brain, it's not supposed to be there. Deal with it, there is nothing that can be done" (There had been a week between 1st MRI report and this appointment so I had already spent days researching the condition online). He proceeded to pull every disease/condition known to man out of his southern-most orifice to explain my symptoms as something OTHER than Chiari. My migraines are "hormones", the normal-every-day headaches are "too much OTC-medicine withdrawal", the numbness in my arms and hands is "carpal tunnel", the eye-twitches and the ringing in my ears and hearing loss is "too much aspirin", the stiff neck is from, of all things, "stress". We left this appointment to go to another appointment with my Chiropractor who had all of her reference books out and ready. She spent over an hour with us explaining my new condition to me... and how, she could no longer treat me. Martin Solomon... the first of many doctors who knew nothing and yet attempted to make me feel stupid by making up other conditions to cover his ass. Stay away from this neurologist... you will leave wanting to bang your head against a brick wall.

The front desk staff was nice and the MAs friendly. They apologized and thanked me when I mentioned that I found a 6 day old urine sample in the restroom. Dr. Glaser was not friendly towards me. My visit was to be a new patient physical. He did not engage or try to get to know me at all. My face to face time with him was less than 10 minutes, and the only thing memorable that he said was that my insurance might not pay for my updated tetanus shot (they did). I went downstairs to do lab work and was there for about 30 minutes when they finally realized that Dr. Glaser did not order lab work because I had done lab work 7 months prior. Fairly certain that lab work is part of a physical...but whatever. I had already made up my mind that this man would not be my new PCP. A PCP should be warm and engaging, and someone who will listen to their patients when they are concerned about something - Dr. Glaser checked none of these boxes. Fast forward a few weeks later to the billing nightmare that followed, my insurance covers an annual physical (including the lab work he wouldn't order) 100%...but the first bill was coded as a new patient appointment, but they left the physical off. So I had to call the office about this...they made my patient responsibility $0 in their system, but then rebilled my insurance company with duplicate charges and overbilled by almost triple. I decided to call BCBS directly since I had yet to find a competent individual to help me at the practice. The insurance rep told me that one of the codes used on the new bill was for a psychiatric evaluation...OMG! I explained the whole situation again, and BCBS filed a grievance and the billing did eventually get situated. I have talked to others who have noticed similar billing issues on their statements from this practice...so definitely watch your EOBs here. Unreported overbilling is sadly something that happens too often in the medical world. I have given up on ever seeing my 7+ years of medical records from my prior PCP. I am fairly certain they went into an abyss of some sort in this Bridlewood office of confusion.

I've never had a bad experience…read more Getting in touch with someone on the phone can be frustrating for those that are not technically inclined. But if you use the Healow app, the docs are pretty quick to respond plus your care needs are documented. I started using Bridlewood, Dr. Glaser and his staff because the last office I was at didn't listen to me. I'm diabetic and trying to find the right medication has been much trial and error but my last office brushed off my errors. So when I first started with Bridlewood, Michelle Hampton heard me and started me on my way to finding what worked. I was sad to lose Victoria Thomas but it was an easy transition back to Michelle and they really do care. I have trouble with getting medication but that's due to my insurance not the office. Michelle and her team have been in constant communication with me and are eager to help where they can. I've had nothing but a pleasant and stress free experience working with the Bridlewood staff. My one complaint would be that I never got an Amazon gift card!

He could have been a random guy off the street for all he acted like a doctor. I came in due to unexplained bleeding after a week of immense pain and arm numbness. I had surgery for endometriosis and fibroids eight weeks ago. The treatment I received was abysmal. Some highlights -- "I'm worried about the bleeding, I know the pain in my back may be normal due to my illness. I just want to make sure I'm not having a stroke or anything." "You can't have a stroke in your lower abdomen." "What pain meds are you taking?" "I've been taking both Tylenol and Ibuprofen every two hours because I'm in so much pain." "You should try Aleve." Woah, no way? Aleve? Hold the phone. I never thought of that. Then he gives me a paper that says not to take Aleve because it'll cause me to bleed more. Uh oh. And a paper to explain what a painful heavy period is! To someone with a chronic reproductive disease. I still can't decide what part of this visit was the most disrespectful or condescending. It's a hard one. He looked at my surgical scars at one point, asked if I had a fibroid removed like he didn't believe me, and then stated that typically fibroids are removed from a larger incision. I was told he can't support or help with anything gyno related, but somehow he's an expert on laparoscopies and thinks he can criticize my surgeons work when he didn't even listen to a single thing I'd said to him since I'd been there. Did he think I was lying about getting a fibroid removed? Probably. They took my blood pressure multiple times and I, a healthy individual ACCORDING TO HIM, could not get Systolic pressure under 155. When I got there ONE SEVENTY FIVE. A cardiac episode is 180. He told me it's probably the pain. Wait, so the Aleve I took this morning isn't working? What? You said that should help. Why is my arm numb from my shoulder to my fingers? Who knows. Obviously not him. I think his excuse was that I laid on it wrong. Why has it been hurting since Friday night? A medical mystery. My insurance is paying thousands of dollars so Sherlock Holmes can tell me I laid on my arm wrong. I finally gave up trying to advocate for myself and just agreed with him so I could go home. I got no answers for my pain or my bleeding. He thinks I'm fine! So healthy. I can't believe my insurance is going to have to pay for this. The only reason I got meds in IV for my pain while I was waiting for my blood work was because I cried in front of my nurse and he advocated for me. I was the only person there at 4:30am this morning and seriously you would think I was one of 100 in that ER with how I was treated. I had to get up to go the bathroom and wouldn't you know, he was standing around doing absolutely nothing. The only person who cared about me was my nurse. Strangers that hold the door open for me in public show me better care, respect, and compassion than this DOCTOR who literally gets paid hundreds of thousands of dollars a year to do care for people in their time of need. Like what a spit in the face. And for what? I just wanted help. If I have a cardiac event or god forbid a stroke between now and Monday when I see my general doctor, I will find this hospital at fault. I am still not over how even an EKG wasn't even at least offered. That's standard practice with symptoms I displayed. Thankfully tomorrow is Monday so I can actually go to my general doctor that cares if I live or die. My discharge instruction was to lose weight. :) pain? No you're just a fat pig. EDIT FOR STAFF WHO READ THIS - If you are not the doctor who talked to me like a dog than don't apologize for him please. I don't want an apology, you've done nothing wrong. The rest of your staff was amazing. Either fire him or teach him social skills so he doesn't make another woman cry. To my nurse and the front desk gentleman if you read this, thank you for your kindness. I needed that to offset the ugliness.

I am immunocompromised and have lupus, asthma, heart issues, so respiratory illnesses are especially serious for me. I did receive some prescriptions, and I clearly told the nurse assistant to send them to CVS. However, they were sent to my local pharmacy instead. I had to call back multiple times to get this corrected. When I arrived at CVS, there were only two prescriptions available. I had to call back again to find out what happened to the cough syrup, and was told it had been sent at the same time. Ultimately, I was told to use over-the-counter cough syrup instead. I'm not a doctor, but I've been dealing with serious health problems since I was 23, and I know what has worked for me in the past. 875 mg Augmentin has consistently treated my sinus infections, and I usually receive cough syrup with codeine. During this visit, my biggest issue was severe rib pain from constant coughing, and I felt that concern was not taken seriously. Overall, I was not pleased with the care I received. Please listen more carefully to your patients, especially those with chronic and complex medical conditions.

I want to make it clear that the two female nurses who cared for my child were wonderful. They were kind, respectful, compassionate, and professional, and I genuinely appreciate the way they treated both me and my child. Unfortunately, my experience with the gentleman nurse who took over the shift was completely different. Rogelio was extremely rude, dismissive, and disrespectful toward me as a parent. I made a decision regarding a specific procedure for my child and clearly communicated that I did not consent to it. Rather than respectfully listening to my concerns and having a professional conversation with me, he became visibly frustrated and belittling toward my choices. I felt as though my concerns about my own child's health were being dismissed simply because I did not agree with him. There is a huge difference between educating a parent about a medical recommendation and making that parent feel talked down to or disrespected for having questions and making a decision. What made the situation even more frustrating was that his attitude changed only after I contacted my mother-in-law, who is a PA, and asked her to speak with him. Once another medical professional was involved in the conversation, his demeanor suddenly became much more respectful and cooperative. That honestly made the entire situation even more disappointing. I should not have needed to call another healthcare professional for my concerns to be taken seriously. Parents should feel comfortable advocating for their children without being belittled, intimidated, or treated as though their opinions don't matter. I was advocating for my child, and I expected to be treated with basic respect. I am grateful for the two female nurses who were genuinely kind and professional, but unfortunately, the experience with Rogelio completely overshadowed the positive care we received from them. I will not be returning my family to this clinic. I sincerely hope management takes this complaint seriously and addresses how parents are spoken to and treated when they have questions or make decisions regarding their child's care. No parent should have to feel disrespected or intimidated for advocating for their own child.
