I noticed they had a few kids programs available which is super helpful to the community. The only downfall is that it looked like they weren't super stocked with physical books.

There are two private study rooms and a room you can sign up to use for events. The restrooms are single stalls and clean. A kids area and a teen area are both provided. There is also an adults area and magazines. For those needing to use internet, there are computers as well as free Wi-Fi. Last but certainly not least, the staff is awesome. I can not say enough about them. They are always super friendly and most have been working there for quite some time. Overall, I give this library 5 stars because of the staff.

While my kid spent an hour drawing, I spent an hour chatting with other library visitors in this lovely little library. I talked to two librarians who were very welcoming. Each window view (other that the ones facing west) was scenic. Ramsey County took down the trees and built this crappy, uninteresting rectangular block instead. The fake "fireplace" is really a joke (I know laughing out loud in the library is frowned upon). The outlook out to the south is now the ugly 97 highway. Still, it houses the books and everything else that the RCL offers, just in a ugly rectangle.

This particular day they had the conference room with a ton of cardboard and tools (screws and tools) for kids to build their own fort. My son had an absolute blast! Then we explored their book selection, they had a wonderful selection of books and did a great job showcasing new books. He also played with duplos, a STEM game, and hopping on the magical liquid squares. The librarians were friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be back!
