I attended a class here learning how to do a small tapestry and using small spinning wheels. We…read moredid weaving of yarn and we're able to try the small spinning wheels. That was a technique that needs a lot of practice. The weaving was pretty easy. The instructor was well prepared and knowledgable of the craft. Anna was from the textile center in Minneapolis. These classes are funded by the legacy fund through the state. They are great classes at your local libraries. You do need to register before going to the class. We used the supplies that the instructor brought to decorate it. I made my box to give to my grandson to keep special things he collects in. The class was fun and we had a good time.

She was very knowledgeable of the techniques in making the wisk brooms. They can be used for very small tasks and are decorative. This as all the library classes are free to attend backed by the Minnesota legacy fund. Thank you! This is such a great program!!

There were 2 that were hot and 2 cold. We had BLT, Queso, Artichoke and cheesecake caramel. We were able to try all of them at the end of the class. All were very tasty. The…read morelibrary staff are helpful and friendly (which is why you will have a wait if you have a question). Don't despair! Just wait patiently for your turn. There's a wait because the librarians will actually actively HELP! There are classes offered here-which I took today! Only complaint would be that the bathrooms were a little chilly on this cold winters day!

The printing service perks are that you get $5.00 worth of printing credits FREE each week. This is very convenient when black and white papers cost 10 cents and color costs 20 cents! I noticed they had a few kids programs available which is super helpful to the community. The only downfall is that it looked like they weren't super stocked with physical books.
