Grilled tilapia and jollof rice with goat meat
    Kenny D.

By far my favorite dish was the spinach stew with rice (I chose chicken for my protein). It was wonderful, full of spice, and 5-star worthy! The grilled tilapia was good as well and came with a couple of sauces to sample. The jollof rice was a bit of a disappointment but I normally don't care much for goat meat but liked the way they made it. The service was also good. When I called in the order they said 30-40 minutes, but when I arrived in we'll under 30 minutes it was already done and ready to go. All things considered, this was very good experience.

Orijin spirit mixed drink with African herb and fruit extracts from Ghana

Great drink offerings: to wit, the Orijin in photo which I've never seen in the USA anywhere. Secondly, the food was excellent--I had the banku with the spinach stew. Service was okay and the decor is above average. This review is for the Cos location because Yelp doesn't list it separately.

    SuYAA and plantains

SuYAA! plantains! Excellent! Lovely service! If you haven't tried African food, you're missing out.

    Banku was good.

The pricing and portion at this restaurant is honestly ridiculous. Tilapia is one of the cheapest fish you can buy in America which is why I tend to eat red snapper, but it was $25.00. Why are you people charging $20.00 for grilled tilapia and one cut-up sweet plantain(6 pieces)? For that price we should be getting at least 2 cut up plantain, each one is about .80 cents retail wholesale. The side of jollof was $8.00 and it was decent. The fish was okay, a decent sized fish but more salt, ginger and pepper is recommended in the seasoning. Banku was good but okra stew wasn't flavorful, I added liquid maggi for flavor. If you have no choice I would recommend them, I think their portions in comparison to other Ghanaian restaurants in NYC/NJ is a joke.

Here forthe and time and I can say this place has really good Ghanaian Cuisine and authentic. I had waakye and jollof rice and they were both tasty. The waalkye Came with gari, stew, and meat with shito. The jollof was served with salad and meat and very tasty. The meatpie was my least favorite thing. It was not that tasty and very hard The jollof was cooked to perfection and they serve large portions The service Speed needs to be Improved upon to avoid long waits The servers should be attentive and Check on people after they are served we spent moretime waiting for thefood and waiting for the server after eating for our check. There is limited parking in the front of the restaurant and Street parking is also limited Overall the place is good for Ghanaian food Iwould recommend this place to anyone!

The food has extraordinary flavors...never disappoints. Customer service leaves a lot to be desired, but the food is worth the headache.

Like other reviews say, it def gave me some Subway vibes. We got the Jollof w/ chicken and fried turkey (which came with yams). They warned us that we'd probably have to wait 30 minutes for them to cook the turkey and the food was ready right around 30 minutes. Prices seemed on par with other restaurants (~$14 per entree). Service was friendly. The two main downsides: the creepy/annoying singing Santa and lack of indoor dining. There was one long table in the corner of the restaurant but it looked like it was more for employees. They offered to let us sit there if we wanted to dine in, but it definitely wasn't clean. And the Santa decoration that they had singing and dancing the same thing for 30 minutes was enough to make us want to get out of there as soon as our food was ready. Overall though, order in advance and you can't go wrong with Accra Girls!

Service: well first it should be noted they DO NOT have any dine in seating. I checked the website…read morebefore we drove a half hour to get there. Neither yelp or Google noted that their dining room was closed. The entire dining room looked like a giant storage room. Just boxes and crap everywhere. The guy at the register said since covid they haven't offered it. So it needs to be in the website(s). They didn't have half the items offered in the menu. A couple even walked out when they tried to order several items that weren't there. Another couple walked out because of the no seating. HORRIBLE wait time. We waited an HOUR for our meal. Food: This was our first time trying Ghanaian food and I was so excited but extremely let down due to half the items not being offered that were written on the menu. I had Fufu with "Light" soup. It was delicious. But also at times it felt like you shot pepper straight in your throat. I know it's spicy and I love spicy. However, I sneezed a lot like I inhaled pepper. It was the weirdest experience. It had a great flavor a solid kick but that pepper in the nose feeling was bizarre. Not sure what spice they put in there that caused that. My husband had the turkey necks? It was very dry and not much meat. The Yam was VERY dry.
