The food was tasty and fairly authentic. The customer service was overall good. The host was inviting and made sure throughout the visit that we were doing well. We had a large party (see charge on receipt) and they did a great job checking on us throughout. The interior was very Thai accurate and reminded me of other well decorated Thai restaurants. It looked the part! I will be back again.

I tried this place a long time ago and was not a fan. Then this past Summer I tried it again and enjoyed it. The inside doesn't look too great, but it was quiet so we dined in. Service was fine. I was craving their poor man noodles so we ordered takeout. Unfortunately, this experience has put me back on the "no thanks, I'll pass" list. The sweet and sour sauce was WATERY. Which was just unappealing. The fried rice lacked taste and something was off today with my poor man noodles. Very disappointed. Perhaps their quality depends on what chef is cooking?

I have to update my review. I've been coming here often on for about 10 years. When they are on and doing a great job let me tell you they are doing a great job. Every now and then they'll have some mishaps but here lately they've been on a real win streak so I got to give them props. I haven't had any issues at all. Food: do you have some really good specialty dishes here that you can't find anywhere else. One is there Eno Thai fried rice. That is very good. Their Thai cashew nut chicken is also really really good. The curries are great. Their soups are really good. Their fried spring rolls are really good. Their desserts are amazing. The food here is quite good. I'm a huge fan of the pad Thai as well but I only like to either pad Thai there at the restaurant because if you get it to go it's not the same experience. I will continue to come here as long as I live in Northwest Houston. They have locations all over Houston and they are very consistent. The people to work here or a lot friendlier now. I'm happy to one older toe lady left. She had some kind of rude problem with a lot of clients. So I'm glad she's gone. Sayonara

Don't snooze on this place! Delicious! My husband ordered spicy beef pad Thai and I ordered the chicken pad Thai (with the red chilli sauce on the side. Yum! Mango wasn't in season but that is one of our favorites here!

In a place like Houston, where you can get authentic Vietnamese food, this can be a luck draw if the fusion pays off. However, when I tried the food, it was a very flavorful and worth every cent I spent. Everything was very tasty. The wings were flavorful and crisp. It had a combination of crispy skin seasoned with a rich sauce. The meat was also moist. For a party of two, it was also very shareable because they gave six pieces -both drums and wings. I will say that you really gotta to get in there get your hands and face dirty though! (They did provide a hand wipe!) For the main dishes, the won tonic soup was very flavorful with sweet-and-sour elements with egg noodles that soaked up all this good flavor. The wontons inside were very standard. And the onion was added to provide some balance. Everything was very hardy and filling. My friend had gotten the vermicelli. Which came with crunchy egg rolls, shredded veggies, noodles, and shrimp topped with a fish sauce. It felt very light and refreshing with a balance of textures and savory elements'. Highly recommend as the number one and two selling dishes - it would just depend on if you're in a soup or dry noodle sort of mood. Service was overall fast and friendly. You have to pay by going to the counter. We had a newer waiter though, and it took him a long time to get our orders correctly and he had to get some help. Hopefully they're doing well, but overall, it's a very cute Homie little establishment. Seating fits around 30 around booths and tables.

I placed a pickup order via their website and arrived within the time frame provided. Upon entering I went to the back/right area of the bar and found the pick up area. I ordered the Texas Twinkie, Brisket Mac and Strawberry Shortcake Eggrolls as well as the Chicken Potstickers. All of the Eggrolls were soggy and definitely not made to order. It was very disappointing as I have had them before and enjoyed it. The Chicken Potstickers were okay but nothing worth bragging on. I had a couple bites of each but ended up throwing it all away. Customer service and food quality were both lacking. I really wanted to add this to my food rotation :-(

And their other menu items are fire as well! We went on a Sunday late evening. We had a 9 pm airport pickup at IAH so it was a perfect opportunity to grab a spectacular dinner and make the 30+ minute drive out to IAH totally worth it. Parking lot wasn't too full so that wasn't an issue. While the neighborhood ain't River Oaks luxury, it ain't too scary either. We kept it simple - ordered a whole duck and Bamboo House Special Noodle with Beef. This place ain't cheap but the food is worth every penny. It was very busy that evening so it's not a well-kept secret but also proves that eventually, Houstonians will figure out where the good food is. The duck was near perfect. They serve the duck with the pancakes (as opposed to the buns like at Arco) which is my preference. The soup that comes with it was also extremely flavorful. And the house special noodles with beef - oh my. I swear it's just one really long noodle so you may be frustrated trying to divvy up the family style bowl, but the labor is worth it. So good... Can't wait for my next airport run so I can sneak in a lunch or dinner at this place. So many other menu items I want to try!

I had previously visited the now closed Bamboo House on Westheimer and I remember being impressed by the food. I had to make an airport run and decided that it would be perfect timing to stop by this location. I highly recommend ordering the duck ahead of time, but we were lucky enough to snag one of the last ducks when we arrived around 7 pm on a Sunday evening. The waitress was super friendly and upbeat and the restaurant is older but well maintained. You can see where the food is being prepared/cooked and you can see ducks being cooked/warmed behind a glass window. The duck was absolutely spectacular with the perfect seasoned and tender meat accompanied by well rendered crispy skin. I love how the pancakes are paper thin and pair well with the scrumptious duck and other toppings. They also provide sugar and plum sauce as additional toppings which I thought was interesting but not my cup of tea. The duck soup was extremely flavorful and full bodied and went well with the duck. The noodles were also amazing with likely hand pulled noodles served with an abundance of tender beef and vegetables with a little Sichuan kick. I was intrigued by a strawberry chicken dish that I saw on the menu and I plan to try it the time. My diagnosis: hands down the best Peking duck in the greater Houston area!

We spent about $60, and unfortunately... this was one of the most disappointing meals we've had in a while. The food tasted old across the board. The egg rolls were burnt, the sweet and sour chicken was dry and flavorless, and the General Tso's chicken was soggy and overly sweet. The only things even remotely edible were the lo mein and fried rice. To make things worse, the service didn't match the price point. For a $60 order, we were given just four soy sauce packets, no plasticware, and no fortune cookies. When I asked for more soy sauce, sriracha, and duck sauce, I was initially given barely anything had to ask again and explain I had a full meal to feed. They eventually brought more, but still no fortune cookies. My husband and I eat out often because of our schedules, and we don't mind spending money on good food but this was not it. I had really high hopes because it's hard to find solid Chinese food in the Spring area, and I was hoping this could become a go-to spot. Unfortunately, it won't be. It has a lot of cool Japanese style decorations / wall art, and they're usually showing Pokémon on tv! The inside is very pretty / appealing to me, and it had a nice chill vibe. I will take more pictures next time. The service has always been overall solid, but my fiancée and I's favorite waitress is named Jennifer I believe. She's very sweet and attentive. We made it a point to ask her name last time we went(and somehow I'm iffy if I got it right). We were being served by a waiter who honestly was kinda meh, and then Jennifer saw us and greeted us. She then went to tell him to get us water, and I then just asked her if she could tend to us instead. She's great and we will always ask for her anytime we go moving forward. Onto the main subject: the food! I've ordered multiple different items here, but I'll start with the appetizers. I've tried the Brussels sprouts tempura, which were just ok to both my wife and I. It seemed like it was plain unseasoned Brussels sprouts fried lol. We've also had the fried shrimp shumai which was solid to me, but the Mrs said it was too fishy. Ramen: I've had the tonkotsu black (pork) multiple times, the spicy shrimp ramen, the Kami Goyu (sliced NY Strip) and the spicy chicken ramen. I really like all of the broths and noodles, but I feel like the pork, chicken, steak and shrimp proteins could improve. The pork seems really fatty / chewy but not in the way I'm used to. My wife doesn't care for it either. The chicken is like a thinly sliced chicken breast and seemed like it was cooked separately then dumped into the broth last second. The Mrs says it reminds her of a plain Costco chicken. I still ate this more the the pork, and pork is my usual go to. The shrimp was ok to me, and I'm not really sure how I'd describe it but I ate it all. I don't think I'd order the Kami Goyu again as I did not care for the steak, but I did eat it since I don't like wasting food. I think the spicy chicken ramen may be my favorite overall. My absolute favorite thing here though, is the Akuma roll. All I can say is I love it, and I'll be ordering it everytime I go. It is a raw sushi roll. All in all, I know we'll be back! Note: you can try 2 different types of ramen if you order the yin yang ramen, minus their lobster ramen.
