I'm so very happy to have found this place near me. It's a small cozy place with super friendly staff. Loved the place so much that we brought our friends a couple weeks later. Everything we've had has been great. Appetizers: tamarind pork ribs (you MUST try this!! amazingly good), chicken wings (also very good but it takes a bit of time to cook so have patience, papaya salad is a classic, steamed dumplings Main dishes: crab fried rice (yes, you want this. full of jumbo lump crab meat, panaang curry never dissappoints, num ngeaw spicy pork rib soup is so good when you crave comfort, kang hang lay curry with pork belly is packed with rich flavors, pad se-ew is like the thai version of chinese broccoli beef Dessert: coconut ice cream (the best coconut ice cream any of us has ever had -- you need to try this!)

This is a small but very charming restaurant at the end of a retail center. There is a small bar and about a dozen tables, and it is very nicely decorated and very clean. They offer a wide range of Thai dishes including standards like pad Thai and fried rice as well as a lot of regional specialties. We started with gui chive tod and followed with tom kha gai soup and larb gai and it was all delicious. Portions are a reasonable size and everything was fresh and beautifully plated. Really impressive for a small spor and we will definitely be back to explore the menu. Everything is cooked to order so there's a small but reasonable wait, so don't expect fast food speed, but it is a lovely spot to sit and enjoy a meal. Staff and service were great too.

Excellent Thai food and very authentic. I like to grade my Thai restaurant by their Tom yum Soup, pad Thai and Panang curry. Pad Thai was saucy but not too much, delicious and perfectly cooked. Panang curry was very rich and authentic. Mmmmmm. We'll be coming back again and again. Yum!!!!

December 30, 2023 Update: Visited for a family dinner. As expected, service was friendly and prompt; food arrived amazingly quickly. Tofu Pad Thai, Chicken Red Curry, Chicken Green Curry, and Tofu Penang Curry. Unfortunately, for dessert, Mango Sticky Rice was unavailable. Tastes/flavors were good but a bit muted this time (especially the Penang and Red Curries, which looked very similar in color). Overall the tab was quite high at $87+, for four dishes, no drinks, and 18% tip. Still a great choice, but prices begin to bite.

Stopped into Four Region Thai for an early dinner today. Got there around 5pm and it was fairly empty with maybe one or two other tables, but by the time we left it was getting quite busy quite fast. The decor inside and outside is very well done and almost has like a retro 70s look and feel to it. The dining area is well lit and vibrant, with great use of tile and wood and lots of gold. Even their dinnerware has a cool gold & black theme to it. They also have a great looking little patio with ample shade but this current Texas heat is too much for outdoor eating; this will be great for fall or spring. Service is quick and very friendly, we were never left wanting or waiting, everyone was super nice and helpful. Now the for the food. Definitely authentic and unique, at least as far as Thai restaurants on the north side go. True to their name, the menu is divided into the four regions of Thailand; Bangkok, east, south and north. I can't remember the dish names but they were all delicious. My son had a spicy beef curry that was probably my favorite entree of the dinner, I had the soup looking dish with fall apart pork rib and rice noodles, and my wife had what I believe to have been beef larb. The tamarind pork ribs to start were very succulent and sweet with great use of fried basil and a sweet sticky tamarind sauce. The house made coconut ice cream was some of the best ice cream ever and the mango sticky rice was also a beautiful and delicious yet, light dessert. This is now my favorite north side Thai spot. We will definitely go back, EVERYTHING was awesome.

I came here for dinner while some family was visiting and we had a great meal. The restaurant itself was small and cozy, and there was a woman singing karaoke when we went. She had a beautiful voice, but it was a little hard to talk amongst ourselves because she was a little loud. Our waitress was very sweet and gave great recommendations off the menu. We all started our dinners off with a beverage from the bar. I ordered the ginger margarita, and it had a great ginger kick! Our meals came out pretty quickly. I really enjoyed their green curry. Although I would say their spice levels are not super spicy so if you enjoy Thai hot spice levels, this is around a level 3 to level 4 spice at the hottest level. We had the mango sticky rice for dinner, and it was sweet and sticky deliciousness! Would highly recommend ending your meal with a mango sticky rice to share.

We had placed an Uber Eats order a little while back and unfortunately one of our entrées was missing when the delivery arrived. Mistakes happen, but what sets a great restaurant apart is how they handle it. Daniel went completely above and beyond to make things right. He arranged for a free entrée to be added to our next Uber Eats order, which we placed just yesterday. And when that order arrived, not only was the free entrée included, but they also threw in delicious Thai tea as an extra gesture of goodwill. It was such a thoughtful, generous touch that we genuinely weren't expecting. That kind of customer care is rare these days, and it speaks volumes about the culture Daniel and the team have built at Charm Thai Bistro. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and authentic, but knowing that the people behind it truly stand behind their service makes every order that much better. We will absolutely keep coming back, and we'd recommend Charm Thai Bistro to anyone looking for amazing Thai food AND a restaurant that truly values its customers. Daniel, you're the man, thank you!

I ended up just following the crowd and picking my own table. It looked like there was only one server. The place isn't big at all, so I'm not sure how things got overlooked, but anyway let's get to the food. I will say this everything came out fresh and really hot, but the dishes seriously lacked flavor. Keep in mind, I've spent two weeks in Thailand and tried every mainland dish that's referred, , so I know what a good curry tastes like and this, my friends, was not it. The curry was extremely watery and had almost no flavor. You don't even taste curry at all. The roti appetizer honestly needs to be taken off the menu. It's not even worth mentioning, but here we are. Tough, no flavor basically like construction paper dipped in dyed water. The wings were fried perfectly, I'll give them that, but there was no seasoning. They were lightly coated in sauce, and even then nothing made them memorable. My entree was the Chicken Curry Noodle, and this dish was just... weird. I know it's prepared a little differently in Phuket, but personally, I think the cabbage and fried noodles completely ruined it. Even if the cabbage was meant to complement the dish, it still felt unnecessary. The curry itself was basically watered-down paste. I don't understand how something can be known for curry when you can't even taste curry. Also, that bowl it's served in please get rid of it. It makes the dish harder to enjoy. A simple medium bowl would've been perfect. Eating watered-down curry out of what feels like a genie lamp isn't my (or anyone's) idea of good dining. Definitely last on my list. Happy Yelping

The pad krapow isn't really Thai style. It leans heavily Chinese, and if you want it closer to the real thing, the upcharges start stacking. Ground pork swapped for sliced chicken? +$2. Add a fried egg? +$3. You can see the pattern. The green curry was fine. Not bad, not memorable. Other places do it better, though I'll give them credit for the gold bowl -- nice presentation. The cheese sticks come in egg‑roll wrappers, which is exactly what it sounds like: mozzarella stick meets egg roll. I tried to talk my kid out of ordering it, but they wanted something "not Thai." Honestly, most of the menu already fits that description. A lot of dishes feel like Westernized interpretations of Thai food rather than Thai food itself.

The food portions were generous, but the food was completely bland and dry. The items we ordered: 1. Shrimp fried rice. The shrimp was a nice size and not overcooked. The rice itself was dry and tasteless. 2. Crying Tiger (Beef with sticky rice). It clocked in at "not bad". While dry, it at least had flavor. 3. Pad Thai with chicken . Bland and underwhelming. 4. Pok Pok Chicken appetizer. The dryest bland fried chicken we've ever had. We decided that it was best to throw it away rather than feed it to our dogs. It tasted like the chicken had been under a heat lamp for hours. 5. Crispy Chicken Rolls Appetizer. The only enjoyable part of the meal. We were excited to try a new place but were disappointed. All of the food wasn't awful but it wasn't exactly good either. The experience could have been worse as it could have been overpriced. The serving sizes were generous for the amount they charged. Unfortunately a lot of mediocre to bad food is still not why we order food from restaurants. Hopefully this is just an aberration because of the time of day we ordered the food or perhaps their take out is not as good as their dining in experience. We might be open to going back to give it another shot but would definitely order different items. It's not likely, but it could happen. 3 stars because of the portion sizes and friendly staff. The food on its own is 2 stars.
