This is a great place for a fast lunch. In and out fast but the quality of the food it really good. Quick ordering, quick serving and always checking up on you. One thing they do that I wish all restaurants would do is they bring pitcher of tea and water to your table and even if you don't refill they will when they come by. See pic Great portions and pricing...

This place is one of my go to places for Chinese. When I want to have a sit down Chinese meal, quietly enjoy my food, this is most definitely the spot that checks those boxes. I am not sure how I've not written a a review for them. Maybe I selfishly want to keep them a secret. Lol. Anyway, your food is made once you order it so it comes out super hot and fresh. No complaints. You are able to customize most items with your heat level with no issues. The staff is always so happy to see you walk through those doors. Even more personal that both waitresses always remember what we like when we sit down. All sodas are can and come with a cup of ice. They do have offerings of adult beverages if that's your thing. All in all, I highly recommend dining here or taking to go. We've done both and have been extremely happy with our food and service both ways.

General Tao's s thick sauce tastes like a less sweet and a bit more savory version of the sweet and sour sauce. The chicken pieces are pretty plump and covered with a soft batter. The steamed rice is okay. The flavor and texture of the shrimp fried rice is pretty satisfying as it has well cooked rice, bean sprouts, small shrimp, slivers of green bell pepper, peas, green onion, and some smokiness from the stir frying. The fried shrimp is shaped like onion rings and has a thicker batter. I don't know if it's because they scooped from the top or if the egg drop soup is usually this thick and kind of bland, but I got one that wasn't that warm. The dinner entrees come with a fried vegetable spring roll that was hot and crispy.

Garlic Shrimp. Excellent taste and like veggies plus plump shrimp.

Consistently excellent. Great service. They remember what you like. Food is well seasoned and fresh. Enjoying Garlic Shrimp. Also like the Mongolian Beef and Hot and Sour Soup. Enjoy!

The fast paced, yet controlled and homey service oddly adds a sense of authenticity to this cute little establishment. I ordered the chef's special orange chicken which provided a much needed tang to my palate. The sweet-savory flavor was so well done and highly recommend. The wonton soup was also very grounding and smooth. The General Tso's chicken did taste suspiciously similar to my orange chicken, but that hardly a problem considering they were both excellent. Definitely a hidden gem.

Great Chinese Food, come here all the time! When I have family gatherings, and everyone wants to eat Chinese food, this is the place I order from.

My family and I have had a hard time finding a good Chinese spot since moving out here to Texas. This place was so warm and welcoming right when we walked in! It's clean and the service is awesome! Our waitress was so sweet and engaged with our kids. I highly recommend eating here if you are craving some good Chinese food!

    How's the Pad Thai?

It's not actually that spicy like if you were to have the real thing, but the flavour is still good. I would recommend it.

We wanted to try 1 dish of each specialty, so we ordered of course a Lamb Karahi, this is a very special dish, comes in a hot wok like plate, very traditional Pakistani, the flavor, texture and aroma of this dish is so unique, definitely a must, we asked level 2 spice and it was wonderful. We also had the Chana Masala, this is the best Chana I've tried, so garlicky, so good, the chickpeas had the perfect texture as well, again mild on the spiciness, just great. We also had Chicken Szechuan chaomein, great noodles, the Szechuan flavor on this dish was just spot on. I'm so happy we came to try this place, I can confidently say and confirm this is one of the best places to eat in Houston. I can't recommend just one dish, but don't skip the Chana Masala.

I've done Peking…read moreCuisine for years and shifted to Arco for my duck cravings, but if you're willing to drive out to Humble (pretty much anytime you're in the IAH area), you gotta check out Bamboo House for the best Peking duck. And their other menu items are fire as well! We went on a Sunday late evening. We had a 9 pm airport pickup at IAH so it was a perfect opportunity to grab a spectacular dinner and make the 30+ minute drive out to IAH totally worth it. Parking lot wasn't too full so that wasn't an issue. While the neighborhood ain't River Oaks luxury, it ain't too scary either. We kept it simple - ordered a whole duck and Bamboo House Special Noodle with Beef. This place ain't cheap but the food is worth every penny. It was very busy that evening so it's not a well-kept secret but also proves that eventually, Houstonians will figure out where the good food is. The duck was near perfect. They serve the duck with the pancakes (as opposed to the buns like at Arco) which is my preference. The soup that comes with it was also extremely flavorful. And the house special noodles with beef - oh my. I swear it's just one really long noodle so you may be frustrated trying to divvy up the family style bowl, but the labor is worth it. So good... Can't wait for my next airport run so I can sneak in a lunch or dinner at this place. So many other menu items I want to try!

I had previously visited the now closed Bamboo House on Westheimer and I remember being impressed by the food. I had to make an airport run and decided that it would be perfect timing to stop by this location. I highly recommend ordering the duck ahead of time, but we were lucky enough to snag one of the last ducks when we arrived around 7 pm on a Sunday evening. The waitress was super friendly and upbeat and the restaurant is older but well maintained. You can see where the food is being prepared/cooked and you can see ducks being cooked/warmed behind a glass window. The duck was absolutely spectacular with the perfect seasoned and tender meat accompanied by well rendered crispy skin. I love how the pancakes are paper thin and pair well with the scrumptious duck and other toppings. They also provide sugar and plum sauce as additional toppings which I thought was interesting but not my cup of tea. The duck soup was extremely flavorful and full bodied and went well with the duck. The noodles were also amazing with likely hand pulled noodles served with an abundance of tender beef and vegetables with a little Sichuan kick. I was intrigued by a strawberry chicken dish that I saw on the menu and I plan to try it the time. My diagnosis: hands down the best Peking duck in the greater Houston area!

The food was very good!…read more I was hesitant at first because some of the menu seemed to be fusion items. In a place like Houston, where you can get authentic Vietnamese food, this can be a luck draw if the fusion pays off. However, when I tried the food, it was a very flavorful and worth every cent I spent. Everything was very tasty. The wings were flavorful and crisp. It had a combination of crispy skin seasoned with a rich sauce. The meat was also moist. For a party of two, it was also very shareable because they gave six pieces -both drums and wings. I will say that you really gotta to get in there get your hands and face dirty though! (They did provide a hand wipe!) For the main dishes, the won tonic soup was very flavorful with sweet-and-sour elements with egg noodles that soaked up all this good flavor. The wontons inside were very standard. And the onion was added to provide some balance. Everything was very hardy and filling. My friend had gotten the vermicelli. Which came with crunchy egg rolls, shredded veggies, noodles, and shrimp topped with a fish sauce. It felt very light and refreshing with a balance of textures and savory elements'. Highly recommend as the number one and two selling dishes - it would just depend on if you're in a soup or dry noodle sort of mood. Service was overall fast and friendly. You have to pay by going to the counter. We had a newer waiter though, and it took him a long time to get our orders correctly and he had to get some help. Hopefully they're doing well, but overall, it's a very cute Homie little establishment. Seating fits around 30 around booths and tables.
