So many great sounding dishes make decisions hard but I am not sure you can really mess it up since everything we ordered was so good. We started with the Biscuit Beignets and the Baked Brie Delight (Apples, pecans & raisins sautéed in a Grand Marnier butter sauce over warm Brie cheese with toasted French bread). YUM! My husband got the Chez B's Omelette - red bell peppers, portabella mushrooms & caramelized onions with feta, shaved Parmesan & fresh basil. Crazy delicious! Omg! Where to begin. My spouse and I come here every Saturday. I highly recommend requesting Laura as your server or sitting at the bar if that's where Laura is working when you visit. Laura always leads us to the best possible decision for our meal and she is extremely knowledgeable not to mention easy to speak with. Visiting a friend in the area, we were starving and decided to stop. Party of 3, we were seated immediately and the waitress was promptly taking our drink order. The decor was very nicely done, pleasing to the eye and appropriately beachy! The menu was filled with very pleasing varieties of breakfast/brunch choices, new and surprising combinations along with traditional favorites. Excellent Breakfast! Monster cinnamon bun with steak and eggs super! Potatoes were great too, poached perfect eggs. Update: Ate here 3 breakfasts while vacationing, each time loved the food. French toast is to die for, omelette was very good not burned like most breakfast place (which seriously degrades taste to me) If you are nearby, this is the breakfast place for you. Love this place! Offers both healthier options (a rare thing down south ;) and regular delishesness options. Amazon service, had a very small confusion on an order and immediately had both our waitress and the manager that was roaming right on top of it and got it fixed literally in 3 minutes. Start off, had gone to the one in Destin previously in the week and had a good experience so decided to go back. Well the one in Destin was closed due to inadequate staffing, however, we saw this location was only 20min down the road decided to go there. Put name on waitlist before we left Destin after calling to see what the wait time was (1hour for 2 people) it took 25ish min to get there. The host here had no idea what she was doing. She would seat tables then have to make multiple trips back to tables because she didn't take menus the first time. At multiple times there were 5-12 open tables with no one being sat. So finally we got sat an hour and a half after we put our name on wait list for a one hour wait. Not only did host again not bring us our menus and me personally asking before we left the host stand to get menus, she said "i'll bring em right to you honey" and then just pointed at the table and said you can take that one while she remained at the host stand. We sat at table for about 5 minutes as she took 3 other tables with menus to their seats, finally we had to get up and once again ask to get our own menus and silverware. So now we are at the table, the server comes up no smile or welcome just "what can I get you to drink?" We told order for drinks then sat there another 15 minutes and had yet to get drinks or our food order taken or even a come back to the table. We saw multiple other tables already with drinks and food ordered before we decided to just leave. Having worked in service industry for 7years I rarely just leave a restaurant or even write reviews, but this was absolutely ridiculous. After leaving we called back to speak to a manager and was told they were unable to come because they were on the floor, so asked for a corporate number to which the host put us on hold then said she couldn't get it because they had moved offices?? She said she could google it to which I replied No thank you I can do that myself. Maybe if you close one location offer staff from that one to help cover the other, especially since you're so close to each other. And how about making sure your staff is trained and your servers can at least smile, it goes a long way to a shitty start and can often times change the whole previous events. read more

Walked out, very very poor service. Also asked for the manager or corporate number and the hostess was "unable to get them". Can't find fault with this place. I've eaten at other Broken Eggs in Florida and not sure if this one is just better, or I just hit on a good day, but the food was really solid. Not amazing or anything, but just really good. Eggs Benedict was prepared quite well, eggs were perfectly poached, hollandaise was good and the seared slabs of Canadian bacon were a welcome change from the little discs of ham that usually sit underneath the eggs you find on most eggs bennies. My only gripe was that in places the hollandaise seemed to be replaced by, or gained the taste and consistency of, mayo. And that was a little off-putting. I also got the potatoes done Mediterranean style, with grilled onions and feta, and those are how all breakfast potatoes should be prepared. read more

The service was very lacking though. They missed my orange juice, did not pick up the empty plates and the server put out her hands so I could hand her the plates! I'm usually pretty good about stacking the plates and handing it over but with two kids in tow, sometimes I can't get to it fast enough but it's a bit rude to have their hands out expecting me to do their job! read more

Was down here in Florida for a small getaway for my breakfast and I love breakfast foods and trying new places. This was hands down my absolute favorite breakfast out of like 5 other places I tried down here! I recommend the hey Lucy omelette and the bananas foster pancakes! Absolutely delicious. Our waitress did not wear her mask properly the entire time we were there. It was either under her nose or under her chin. There were also a few people wearing the gator masks which have proven to not be safe. I just hope the cooks were wearing masks while preparing the food. The name catched my attention while I was on a work trip, but the breakfast blew mind. The staff was so wonderful, and offered us souvenir cups. It was incredible and what made it even more incredible is the fact that their I was able to have that incredible breakfast off of their GLUTEN FREE MENU!!! What!! Yes you heard right, delicious fluffy homemade pancakes, tasty toast, and the best Gouda grits I've ever had!! Their main menu has so many amazing dishes but what I loved is their gluten free menu had almost just as many options!! (The mimosas and bloody Mary's were super tasty too!) Our waitress Carrie, was super sweet, and so helpful in making our first time here awesome! I've been to a few of this chain restaurant and I've always been impressed with their ability to maintain pretty good quality food across all of the sites. This place stands out because their service was amazing and their ability to make you feel as if you are a local is pretty awesome. That's saying something for a place that probably caters to tourists 90% of the time or more. Based on their sign out front, I'd love to attempt the Bloody Mary's or bottomless alcoholic beverages. Alas, I did not and just enjoyed great eggs, bacon, and biscuits. From the hostess to the waitress to the guy who cleared the plates - they treated us like I would hope someone would treat their own family. Yup.. it's a chain. Yup... they have reliably good food.
