The food, service, and view were amazing! Our server was amazing! 5/5 stars! We will be back next time we visit!

The restaurant is in a little nook with other businesses. Parking was a little tough to find but we did alright. The atmosphere is very nice inside and is casual. The service was very good and prompt. The grouper had very good flavor and isn't fishy tasting. For those that don't like seafood I would recommend trying it. The crab leg boil was seasoned but didn't have much flavor to it. The fish tacos were fine. The steak was tender but didn't have much flavor to it either. It could have benefited from a touch of salt.

The Edge Burger + brussel sprouts

We visited during a holiday trip to Destin. It was a cold November evening. This spot is essentially outdoors - we just had basically see-through tarps covering open spaces. When we were seated, the host didn't offer to clean a table close to one of those standing heaters. Instead, we asked our server, who got someone to clean it so we could move. Apparently, this spot has really great views, but because of the season it was pitch black outside. When visiting a new restaurant, I tend to try a core item. Something they're know for or should definitely have down. So, I got their signature burger, which was honestly underwhelming. Their brussel sprouts were quite good, but could have used a bit more seasoning. I think I should have gotten some kind of seafood, because others in my party said they were fresh and tasty. Overall, I think they need an overhaul for accommodating low temp seasons and some pizzazz for late night diners.

Just okay. On the water - rustic. The fish did not taste fresh and the cook on it had an old grease taste. Disappointing. Our server was just doing his job, no personality.

The space has a cool indoor/outdoor setup, and the night we went they had live music, which made the whole place feel really lively. We sat inside but could still enjoy the music while catching some basketball games. The menu leans Mediterranean and everything looked incredible. We started with the tzatziki, shrimp wonton rolls, and potstickers. All three were great, but the shrimp wonton rolls were my favorite. For my main, I ordered the grilled shrimp pita (loaded with shrimp) with fries--definitely hit the spot. Around the table we also had burgers, a Mediterranean bowl, and pork belly tacos, and everyone loved their meals. We were so full we didn't even make it to dessert. Overall, great vibe, great food, and a fun atmosphere. Definitely worth checking out--just plan on taking an Uber or Lyft since parking is limited.

As a conservative Christian family, that's not a conversation we expected to have over dinner while on vacation. Definitely a conversation that would have been far easier to explain at Ringling Bros. Barnum and Bailey I believe everyone should be treated with respect, but I also believe families have different values. For us, it made what should have been a relaxing family meal uncomfortable. Because of that, we'll likely choose to dine elsewhere in the future.

We were with a group and they forgot 2 of our meals and also forgot our drinks from the bar a few times. I'm glad that we tried it and really enjoyed the food, but, based on the experience, I'm not sure if we'll be back. They also charge an automatic 20% gratuity no matter what the group size is. Our waiter was super friendly and they were very accommodating with getting a car seat chair for our newborn so he could enjoy dinner with us. He was also very attentive, easily explained the menu to us, answered any questions we had, and was very prompt at helping us with anything we'd needed. The food was phenomenal, presented very well, and tasted amazing. We had ordered the red fish (special for the day) and ended up getting key lime pie for dessert and we were not disappointed one bit. This is a pricey restaurant, $50 +\- per person, but you definitely get your money's worth with what you get. Overall, this is a great restaurant to go to for celebrations, date nights, special occasions, or just for that fine dining feeling. There's no dress code, but I'd personally recommend wearing your Sundays best (I'd wore leggings and a T-shirt and just felt underdressed). The restaurant was very family friendly so I loved that aspect. Definitely will be coming back to try more items from the menu!

The Daily Special was my favorite. We had a larger group and did not have to wait at 7:00. The setting was great. Outdoor seating is along a bay, a great spot to view the sun setting. It does get hot out there if you go too early, we were there in July. Parking is extremely limited and they do have valet ($9 as of 7/2026). The line for the valet was very long. We got lucky to find a parking spot, but plan on waiting for parking in one way or another.

A fun detail is that the Destin family and the city of Destin have been closely connected ever since Leonard Destin, Dewey's great-great-grandfather, founded the settlement in 1835. Our server recommended the sheepshead, a local fish species. Until then, I had never even heard of sheepshead, which made the recommendation all the more interesting. We always appreciate tips like that, as trying something new is part of the fun of traveling. It tasted very good, although it was topped with teriyaki sauce and served with remoulade sauce. As a result, you don't really get much of the fish's natural flavor, but as a dish it was very enjoyable. The service was friendly and efficient, and we liked the place so much that we'll definitely be back. It helps that we also find the history behind it fascinating. The menu is quite varied, with plenty of dishes that sound tempting.
