A perfect, relaxing experience! The entire place has a superb atmosphere and some of the cleanest, most well put together facilities you could ask for. I really enjoyed the decor! With the spacious facility, it really gives the space the vibe you want in a spa. Checking in was a breeze, and after a nice quick tour, we were situated in our rooms. My wife and I both did it. It is not shared, so we were in separate rooms. You could probably request to be in the same but it would be pretty tight. But solo it is incredibly spacious in the booths. The infared sauna gets warmer than some versions, so you can have them up near 170 more like a traditional swedish sauna if you like. The halo therapy was the first for me and very unique. Salt therapy I know is very useful, but to have the medical grade salt in a closed room is a very different experience. I could see it really helping with COPD and asthma as it's claimed to do. You really can't beat the full facilities they have. With the little spacious lounge area to recuperate or to take a shower after. Free refreshments available to recover. (And some specialty drinks available for purchase in bottles near the front) Combine that with it's convenient location right off 77. Perfect for anyone like us who travels down to Charlotte frequently. read more

My wife and I wanted a place we could go to unwind, as having two kids under 3 years old is pretty stressful. When we talked to the owner about signing up we said we were nervous because we weren't sure if we could afford it or if we'd have enough time to get away. She assured us that if it didn't work out, we would be able to cancel. Well after not too long, we realized that we really didn't have enough time to go to the spa to make the cost worth it with tight finances. We contacted the owner to let her know we wanted to cancel, however, our payment for the following month processed just earlier that day. After talking to her she said she would cancel our membership and refund the following month's fee. A month went by and I never received the refund. We called several times with no answer from anyone at the establishment. Eventually my wife talked to the owner who said she changed her mind and isn't refunding us and will give us a voucher instead. We explained that she already promised us a refund and therefore it was inappropriate to change her mind, especially without giving us a courtesy call. I then called back numerous times to discuss the matter further, however, no one ever answers the phone and on rare circumstance they do answer I'm told that I will be called back and no one ever does. They also tell you that before you go to the spa you should call so they can set up the equipment so it's ready when you get there. However, that means someone actually has to answer the phone, which we already established never happens. read more

It was my first time to get a massage I was given one as a birthday gift . I went to live well spa in Frisco @ westin resort Angie is the absolute best!! I was not able to lay on stomach before once she finished I was able to stretch out with no pain . I highly recommend her she is fantastic . It was with results!! read more

I had been wanting to try an Infrared Sauna, as I've heard people rave of all the benefits and how great they felt after going to them. Since I was up in Huntersville for the weekend and didn't have much going on I figured I'd check out if there were any places up this way and that's how I found this spot and I'm sure glad I did! The staff was only one person when I came in, but she was so nice and accommodating. She gave me a full tour of all the amenities and how to use each room before I got started. There was also a deal going on for Valentines Day weekend so she worked it out so I could come back again with the $10 intro session fees. Which speaking of pricing, if you've never been here and been wanting to try the infrared sauna or halotherapy (salt) experience, this is a great place to try it as they have a $10 offer for each session. (I did both -- love halotherapy to help with my psoriasis) So you can try one for $10 or both for $20, and get them booked back to back so you have an hour of relaxation. The regular pricing for monthly unlimited is around $150, which i think if you're getting great benefit for one or both, that's a great deal and it's unlimited so you can use it as much as you want. They also have massage therapy as well The place was very clean. Every room is private, which is really nice! There is a place for you to sit, change and just get comfortable to take a minute to yourself before and after your session. There are hooks for your clothes and a robe if you choose to use it, which is really nice if you're going from session to session so you don't have to get dressed in between. The saunas have Bluetooth capabilities where you can play your own music or podcasts. You can also change and adjust the lighting and temperature. The halotherapy rooms have changing rainbow lighting, but not sure if you can adjust that or not. If you're going for both sessions I'd recommend starting with the sauna, as the halotherapy room is regular temperature and give you time to cool down. In the back there is a lounge area where you can take a break before, after or in betweeen your sessions. There is water, tea and a little snack (kind of like a trail mix) that you can enjoy for free. In the bathrooms they also have hair ties, shower caps, cotton balls and q-tips for your convenience and use. And again the place was very clean, including the bathrooms. Again great ambiance, service, experience and location (if you're in north Charlotte -- they are right off of 77 on exit 31)! I will definitely be back! read more

I started going to this spa a couple of years ago on a recommendation for sauna from my doctor. I chose Live Well Spa for its proximity to my home, the zen feel of the spa, the friendliness and knowledge of the staff, particularly the owner, and the affordable pricing of their packages. I started with the infrared sauna 2-3x a week and quickly got addicted to this serene experience for how energized and healthy it made me feel and how it made my skin look. I increased my visits to the sauna to almost daily, and then took advantage of their packaged pricing to try out their other services like salt, sound, and red light therapy. It's an amazing peace and healing session for me to spend 1-2 hours at Live Well outside of the chaos of every day. The place is always spotless, has a relaxing ambience, a variety of holistic healing services, and such kind and helpful personnel. Energetic staff quickly greeted me as I walked in the perfectly serene lobby. The manager gave a detailed tour of the venue and what is offered. I was pleased to be allowed to select the sauna of my choice after being shown how to use all the settings. The private rooms are all you need undress and get to sweating. This was such a rejuvenating and relaxing experience. From the scheduling to the check in, I received 5 star service (way to go Jordan on check in!) She explained the process and the benefits of infrared sauna and salt therapy (great for people with arthritis, skin conditions, cancer patients, etc.) They have trail mix, coffee, and lemon water for refreshments. The sauna is high tech! They have blue tooth capability to have your own media playing. You can control the temperature, lights, and mood lighting (different colors for different things, or rotating colors which I opted for.) The sauna is in a private room, it's clean, and I enjoyed this experience immensley. Its nice to be able to really get a good sweat and relax! Highly recommend for relaxation purposes.
