Took my BT TM 15 for service did not ask when it would be ready thinking I have 7 days till I need it. Little did I know turnaround now because of covid is 2-3 weeks. Went to ANS to get my daughter a new board. We were greeted by Amy who was extremely friendly. Since my daughter is new to boarding we needed some assistance and Amy was great. We already knew what board we were looking for so we asked her to pull it up. They had five decks in stock so the selection is great. Again, Amy was a great help in assisting us with the trucks, bearings and wheels. We were pleasantly please by her ability to highlight the pros and cons of equipment and came away extremely happy with a new board. Drove out to ANS to see what the biggest paintball store in the country looks like, I was some what disappointed. Prices are just like every other store which is fine, but the store is very disorganized . All the stuff they have online needs to be brought out front by the Warehouse guys to see or you can look at inventory online, I came to the store to look at product! not to look at it on an iPad . I could have done that at home. All the salesman were pleasant, but the higher ups need to fix there system that is very inefficient. Not to mention they're very miss leading Black Friday ads. The staff has no sense of time management. The long goatee senior citizen who works there just shoots paintballs outback all day. Ordered product on the 12th of Feb. Its March 2nd. It was supposed to be two day shipping... they didn't even call or email to explain the delay. Not until I called then was anything done. I have place two orders from this company and twice and have shorted me product. First order was mask plus mirror lens (didn't receive mirror lens) 5 dye shadow pods (only received 4) hero tank and general harness (harness snapped in 2 places where it was suppose to hold down pods. Lost two pods on air ball course but thankfully the field gave me two free bags. I also paid for over night shipping and the none shipped items got shipped to me after 6 days. Second order what's Proto rize package with mask and hopper (never received the mask) also ordered a hero tank and 5 dye shadow pods (received 5 clear lock lids (can complain about that). Had a third order I needed but will spend more on what I need somewhere else than go through ansgear.com again. read more

if you order something from their website and they email you about not having the item ask you if you want a refund or wait for backorder, choose refund. Order couple of things from their site on december 4th 2016 couple of days went by i got an email saying my order was shipped. two days after my order was "shipped" they said one of the items was not in stock if i want a switch or remove the item to please call them. they claim the item that was not in stock will arrive mid December (totall bs). i hear of got no updated pass mid December. I waited and on january 4th i contact them and a "ticket" was created i assume this is where their garbage customer service starts, and a 24-48hrs response wait. i have yet to hear anything from ANSgear ticket garbage system. either they dont use it anymore or they are still in vacations. So, ANSgear store in simi is awsome tbh its big it has a variety of everything for their clients to choose. but their customer service is pure garbage. seems i am not the only one that had this bs experience. Worst customer service, its practically non existent with AnsGear. Ordered a barrel, recieved incorrect barrel. Sent back the incorrect barrel, waited another 5 days and got the barrel that i initially ordered. The barrel came damaged and obviously appeared to be used. At this point im frustrated and just want a new barrel for my marker and didnt want to have to go BACK to post office n send this one back AGAIN and wait again to receive who knows what. I really don't know why everyone has issues with ANS Gear's customer service. Every time I have ordered from them I have had excellent and quick service. So my review is not based on what Ans carries for products. This is about their customer service. A few months back I bough a planet eclipse geo cs1 gun works fine happy with color. The problem is with contacting customer service I reached out because the feed neck clamp broke & was a default. They said they would contact the planet eclipse which was a bold face lie. No one ever contacted my back. They are very quick to try and sell you something but are not very helpful when you need assistance. They took about customizing all these makers but if you can't do the simple things right maybe you guys should re evaluate your customer service. Terrible customer service and slow shipping. Ordered a tank described as hk army doom tank "neon green". First tank they sent me was the wrong tank (hex, not doom and not neon green) I told her if the doom one isn't neon green to send me the white one. After getting ahold of their customer service "Jesse" she informed me that I have to send it back in order for them to get me the tank I paid for, even though I had another order sitting at ANS  and asked her to put the correct tank in with that order and a return label, then I would ship the wrong tank back after I received it, plus I told her if I didn't send it back they could just charge me for it. I also told her I do not have a printer. She ignored my all my comments and emailed me a return label. So once again I contacted her telling her "I'm not buying a printer because of your mistake". She then informed me that she called a shipping place and had them print the label for me, alls I had to do was drop it off. I had to make a special trip to town to get this shipped back (almost 30 miles out of my way) got there and they charged me for the label. I went home and emailed her to just refund my money and I'll order from someone else (which was also ignored by jesse). So took 3 weeks to get the tank that I told them to refund and it came in the same green as the other one . They have all these great words on their website "our main goal is the satisfaction of our customers." "By shopping at ANSGEAR.COM you are assured high quality customer service." "RELIABILITY At ANSGEAR.COM, your satisfaction is of utmost importance to us." (yet everything I said or asked them to do was completely ignored). I don't recommend buying from this place at all. My boyfriend bought a paintball gun from them, first of all it arrived late. Second of all the paintball gun they sold him was 400 dollars, it broke as soon as he pulled the trigger. After calling them multiple times, and being hung up on twice, they are saying they won't give a refund at all. They sold him faulty merchandise and won't allow a refund on something he never even got to use because it was "used". Do not order from this place online! I ordered $128 in small items, and it said shipping would be $30. I ordered on Saturday. On Monday I check my e-mail and it says shipping would be $133! I Hadn't received a shipping confirmation e-mail so I gave them a call. They told me sorry, that's the shipping price, and because the box had already been packed and the label printed (even though it hadn't shipped yet) there was nothing they could do for me. $133 for 3 day shipping!!!!!! This is the worst place to order paintball gear from. They sold me a tank for $290 that wasn't even anew hydro date. It says on there site you get a 5 year on it. It was already a year old hydro date. I called to get it exchanged or returned and they try to charge me shipping to send it back. I tried disputing with bank which did no good on my side. I then got ahold of a manager who offered me a $25 gift card for the $300 waste of money and time. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I was having issues with my TCR for at least 3 outings now, I couldn't get my velocity past 150fps. I cleaned it, tried fixing it myself, then handed off to a friend that also owns a TCR, he wasn't able to fix it either. Took it to ANSGear explaining that I needed it before Sunday (in 4 days), the guy behind the counter told me that they typically take about 5 days to do repairs but can do express repairs that are done in 3 days or less for another $30.00 on top of the labor and parts. I was desperate and agreed to it. He had me fill out a slip and took my marker into the back, as I was shopping for paint Rory comes out from the back asking me questions to try to figure out what the problem was. He goes back into the back and within minutes he comes out telling me that it's fixed! He showed me the chrono confirming that it was shooting at around 295. He handed it to me, explained to me what the issue was and went back to work. The best part of all I was only charged for the paint. That's what I call customer service. I had been going to ANSGear for years. They always have in stock what other local shops don't. My experience today demanded that I write a review. read more

I'm so happy that this place is in my neighborhood the prices were not bad at all very comparable to Evike. The dude behind the counter was super cool help me out for about an hour, answered all my annoying questions and gave me some extra information I wouldn't even have thought to ask about. It was cool cuz he knew about the local airsoft field and was giving me some pointers for the first time I go out there they have a big Supply in the back lots of stock. Will not be buying anything from here again. Their site said free shipping for orders over $19. It also showed Fed Ex Holiday cutoff as "FREE SHIPPING -ORDER BY MONDAY DECEMBER 16TH". I ordered over $20 on the 15th and order is arriving after Xmas. Customer service says you have to order over $99 to get by xmas-website NOW shows that. I am not a paintball person at all. I don't buy any of the gear offered at ANS, but I was totally impressed by the size of the store and the selection. It was all very neatly organized and fun to look at. I was there only to get my CO2 cartridges serviced and filled. Daniel helped me. I have kids much older than he is, and as I waited for the tank servicing, I asked questions about the airsoft (?) and paintballs, just out of curiosity. Daniel was perfectly happy to answer my questions. I received new burst disks on two tanks and fills on all 4. The prices were reasonable and the advice I received about the care of my tanks was very helpful. Everyone at the store was nice, except the one coworker who seemed to think it was ok to interrupt an employee with nonessential chat as he was about to help me. Customers are first, dude--even grandmas. ;-) I only wish this place was closer to my home. The service and fills are much better than what I received at Sports Chalet, and half the price. I highly recommend this business to brewers and others who need CO2. The tanks are working perfectly now. I'll be back, despite the drive. read more

The bad reviews are real. WORST customer service. Basically they sent the wrong size bullets I ordered.Sending me the correct ones and providing a return label with the correct package so I can send the wrong ones would be great customer service, or better yet just send the right ones. But of course they need the wrong bullets back to save their gross profit on the wrong order they sent.Instead they want me to send pictures of the product and send pictures of the invoice. Seems like their "protocol" is stuck in the 1990s. I emailed what they asked for and didn't get a reply for a week. Please note I called before sending an email, they said they'll look into it. Didn't get a follow up. I had to call again to get the ball rolling on this clear service failure. They now want me to print my own return label and also take ANOTHER picture of the return, ship the wrong bullets they sent AND THEN they'll ship me what should have been sent in the first place. What if I don't have printer ink? What now? Making your customers do all this extra work off of your error is bad protocol. I get the protocol if it was my error but for the fact that they can't provide decent customer service and want to get all defensive and keep mentioning protocol and arguing with me as if I'm in the wrong is disappointing. Customer service 101 guys. come on! JESSE and manager ROB are making ANSgear.com look bad. Rob said he'll look into another way of sending me the right order as if this is rocket science.Smh. Sent us defective gear. Got the RMA from th assuring me we would get a full refund. They ended up charginge a restocking fee to return totally defective equipment. Having to file a complaint against them to get the rest of my money. The paintball arenas in our area all warned us to avoid them due to this practice of theirs. I called ANSgear after my extremely negative experience with customer service rep, Chris. I ended up speaking to another customer service rep named Shannon. Shannon was very considerate and after listening to what I had been through, offered to give add $20 credit to my account. He also mentioned that they've been working on improving their customer service and thanked me for telling him about Chris and the other negative Yelp reviews involving this employee. After my experience with Shannon, ANSgear has gained my back my business. If you have issues with ANSgear's service, do not speak to Chris (he signs his name "CC" on emails). Call and ask to speak to another representative. Hopefully they get rid of Chris because I'm guessing the majority of these negative reviews are the result of his actions. I manage a customer service team at a marketing agency and would have first Chris long ago. He's losing this company business. read more

Awful service. They sent me a gun I paid full price for with damages and missing parts and gave me the walk-around. Didn't help at all, or offer store credit or even send me the parts I had missing. This was my first and last order with this company. They even stopped contacting me immediately after saying they wouldn't send me my missing parts (it was just a screw for the buttstock!). Very unsatisfied and will never shop here again, even for little things. Can't believe this service. I have heard rumors of them repackaging guns, and from the damage to some parts on mine I would not find that hard to believe. I should have asked for the employees last name that I was talking to so I could talk to a supervisor about their customer support. I will return the damaged gun and buy from another store who cares about their customers and their reputation. Left an awful taste in my mouth. There are other horror stories involving this company and I should've listened to them. FYI, $225 GOG G1 paintball gun and they wouldn't even send me my missing screw. I will say I also ordered a Flex 8 mask from them and it came okay I guess. It didn't come in its original box, it was put into the package with the black bag thing you put your mask in. Nothing was wrong with the mask. So if you want to order small stuff from there you should be okay, but as for me I will not be ordering anything from them again. Do not order from Canada! ANSGear has "Free shipping" to Canada. What they don't mention is that this "Free shipping" is via FedEx. While not as bad as UPS (worse company in the world?) FedEx is AWFUL for Canadians, why? Because FedEx will charge you a $20+ brokerage fee on top of the taxes you need to pay. So on an order of less than $100 I had to pay an extra 20% on top of the taxes and conversion from USD. It's just not worth it so go with Badlands. If they just mentioned their "Free shipping" was FedEx then at least you know what you're getting into. If you're going to cater to Canadians stop screwing over Canadians.
