Example, they charged me for having to change light bulbs, cleaning behind the stove, and cleaning the refrigerator (which it didn't need much cleaning because I detail cleaned it before I moved out). Absolutely ridiculous. You would think that after playing $1000+ in rent for over 2 years they would be able to afford to do those things. Mind you, I moved out of my apartment before my lease was up, and they waved the fees. However, I paid a full month's rent, and left early so that someone else could move into that apartment because of medical reasons. Therefore, it was a "I scratch your back if you scratch mine" kind of situation. Little did I know they would come at me with these ridiculous charges. Houma Highlands is a better community and the rent is cheaper.
