As my family and i needed a new chapter started. We decided it was easy enough for year. We looked at each apt complex, belmir, ansleys place, the villas. Well the leasing agents knew i wanted to be hidden and have peace. As you go through the process, you're gonna joke with heather and laugh. She told me that shes being a good employee bc she is to rent to buy a house from the ppl who own cameron isles. I didn't need to know she was sucking ass for a house and got a brown nose from , however we hit it off immediately bc i just wanted to move in(the head manager was out on medical leave). So as im doing paperwork etc. I get asked do i have ring cameras? I said yes and they will be up soon. Well as im learning about Heather (bc im extremely observant and an empath) i found out from her own mouth she was the main manager of Cameron isles and Brittany is below her. Then she asked if i could capture the tenants behind me? I asked why bc i literally wanted NO DRAMA!!. Well ppls cars got broke into, other thing's started to get weird. Bc Heather knew they owned 4 cars and we were asking for them to move bc they took up the whole damn parking lot. So Heather needed pictures of the cars to get towed and that they been wanting these tenants out immediately. Well i never bothered anyone until the neighbor asked me things. Im 42 and will talk to a young adult as they need to be. He was able to prove he lived there, he works offshore etc. I said i understand that, i complimented him on working hard. He moved out during the crap heather couldnt do. As i get adjusted to being a new place. That commotion starterd targeting our apt. Banging on the walls all hours of the night. All 3 of us on our level called the cop in the complex Joey, which doesnt answer any calls and u wont see him till he tells ppl to get out the pool. But screw the rest of the residents. And he lives here for 500-600 a month, while everyone else and cop isnt paying his correct rent!!! And i would be aware that the from leasing agent. I think its Kristie or misty. She will flirt with ya husband and then go find them on social media and stalk them! She is ruthless when she wants someone. I never allowed my husband to go in the office. They dealt with me! Now since ive lived in since may 2025-august 4th!! I will be the truthful one to let u know what really goes on here. -Ur parking is included in ur rent. However u will never be able to park near your unit. The front office will not call the tow truck. -your bathrooms do not have filters on the shower heads. They pour chlorine in the water every Monday. You definitely need filter showers heads -your fridge is small. Barely holds freezer foods, you will need a small deep chest freezer -your ac unit will seem like its not blowing!. You call the front and ask for maintenance(YOU WILL ONLY DEAL WITH THEM) VERY NICE AND DESERVE RAISES!!! -the gates have never worked the whole time i was here. They refused to call the company to come fix it. So people are in and out all the time - if you are gonna live on the 3rd floor. PREPARE TO PAY 220-260 A MONTH!! . Bc they layout of the ac vents aren't in the correct spots. Your master has 1 vent! 1!!! (We had to buy 3 fans to keep us cool) - the gym is pathetic. Majority of the equipment is broken. And 95% of the time your key fob doesnt work! -pool!!! Remember this is included in your rent. They now changed the hours. Tuesday-Sunday 9-6!! Allll summer our kids missed out on pool time bc parents had work!!! We got punished bc HEATHER WON'T DONT ANYTHING!!! a family in unit 600, watches the pool everyday and if she doesnt know you or your child. Cops are being called!! -trash. Get ready!! You will find out how fast they break. You will need to drag ya bags to ya car and drive to the dumpster, which by the way is broken. - also be very vigilant when something breaks as appliances. My sink collapsed one day into the under cabinet. Now maintenance and i knew why it broke. The "manager heather " said that my granite was 2 1/2 inches thick. I laughed sooo hard. Bc that shit is 1 1~4 inches!!! But lets do what heather says. BRITTANY IS NOW MANAGER OVER THE VILLAS IN THIBODAUX. SHE WILL GET THAT PLACE IN SHAPE, LIKE SHE DID AT CAMERON. Heather cries everyday. Screams at her employees, expects them to drop everything to run to her. Every time i walked into the office, she never smiled. ALWAYS A MIGRANE!!! Bc this woman has no idea what she is doing, rather mess over another person for a stupid job title.... kinda sketchy when 10 families are leaving bc rent went up 200 bucks for each level. Added in more fees that will not be done correctly. I would never recommend this place to anyone, go to belmir or the villas!!!!! They know how to run a complex and know how to treat their employees and gives them raises!!!! read more

Honestly, I did not have a problem with this place until I moved out. They tried to charge $290 for cleaning fees. The itemized list was for regular maintenance things that should be cleaned before someone new moves into the apartment, regardless. Example, they charged me for having to change light bulbs, cleaning behind the stove, and cleaning the refrigerator (which it didn't need much cleaning because I detail cleaned it before I moved out). Absolutely ridiculous. You would think that after playing $1000+ in rent for over 2 years they would be able to afford to do those things. Mind you, I moved out of my apartment before my lease was up, and they waved the fees. However, I paid a full month's rent, and left early so that someone else could move into that apartment because of medical reasons. Therefore, it was a "I scratch your back if you scratch mine" kind of situation. Little did I know they would come at me with these ridiculous charges. Houma Highlands is a better community and the rent is cheaper. read more

So glad we found this place! As the newest apartment community in town it was nice to move into a brand new unit! With wood fireplace and vaulted ceilings it really makes you feel at home. Screened in balconies are wonderful. The pool is AMAZING! Nice size gym with a room for the kids to play while your work out. Office and maintenance staff are very friendly and always wave or say hi when we see them around the property. If you are between homes or just looking to downsize this is the place to be! read more

On August 29, 2021, we were gravely affected by Hurricane Ida so much so that we had to evacuate. The first email received by Fairfield on September 1, 2021 stated that residents were allowed to return to their units once the utilities were restored. On September 3, 2021 at 9:25pm going into Labor Day weekend stated that residents had until September 15, 2021 to vacate the premises due to a provision in the lease regarding "Acts of God". Now I must say that the complex has been somewhat lenient with allowing residents to remove their belongings but this is why I am giving this management team one star. They went into my apartment without my approval and removed all of my food out of my refrigerator before I could get in to take pictures for my insurance claim. They have claimed on several different occasions that they have completed assessments of each unit but to date they have not provide details regarding those assessments. We are now at the two month mark and we have yet to be provided with details regarding the start of construction and when construction will end. They have been very vague and non-responsive when it comes to providing the information requested for the individual units. It has been stated they are allowing the crews that are making repairs to live in the units that are unlivable for my family but okay enough for the crews to live in. It has been stated they are filing evictions on residents who have chose to stay in their apartment even though the lease has not been terminated. They are making their managers on the local level deal with resident questions but are not providing them with adequate information. I have emailed the Regional Manager multiple times. The last response I received from him was two weeks ago. Several follow up emails have been sent and there has been no response. On the local level the managers on the premises are amazing but above them has been a complete and utter nightmare. As a tenant (because my lease has not been terminated, only suspended due to the hurricane), there should be way more communication than there is. It is very difficult for me to recommend that anyone consider renting from this management team due to the way they have handled this unfortunate event. There is currently a housing crisis and they are dragging their feet with communication. The question remains, should another natural disaster happen, will they respond the way they have been responding thus far? read more

By far the worste apartment complex I have ever rented from !! I have never written a review about any place before but this place has been anything pleasant. 2 times we flooded due faulty plumbing issues in the wall within a 2month span of moving in , 3rd month had flea investiation, garage repair done with our knowledge which in return items where stolen from our garage and a police report had to be filed and nothing has been done . since then around the 7 month we have had sewer back up into our apartment flooding the floors and bathrooms . Everytime we have contacted management and have recieved by far the worste service possible .. Kim who is currently the manager present now told us we are responsible for cleaning our own apartment which is usually spotless that this was a plumbing issue and we could either file a insurance claim on our renters insurance or clean it ourselves. Thankfully today the new maintenance manager came in and addressed the issue and is cleaning,however zero support or professional cleaning will be performed . As we are all aware fecal matter and piss for lack of better words just doesnt go away and needs to be properly sanitized by a licensed professional who is trained to handle such situations. It should not the renter responsibility to handle hazardous waste such as shit,piss and blood borne pathogens from tampons leaking into our apartment 2 times in less than a week and half . Do your self and family a favor and stay as far away from this place as possible . Theres no way to even put into words on what we have experienced here and by far has been the biggest disappointment. I hope this saves someone from the headache we have experienced. This place is absolutely perfect! It's everything I could want in a home, lots of space, big rooms, screened in patio, the list goes on & on!! The grounds are beautiful and the people are great! Oh and I love the Cameron Isles crew, them are amazing! read more
