I am writing this to warn anyone with a time-sensitive medical order to avoid this facility. I scheduled a transvaginal ultrasound evaluation two weeks in advance. My doctor's order was clear, and I even called ahead to confirm that everything was on track. They had 14 days to review my paperwork and let me know if there were any issues. Instead, I received a call from Nora on a Friday afternoon--the very last business day before my Monday morning appointment. She told me they could no longer accommodate me because they 'don't have the proper equipment' for a follicle count. This is a standard transvaginal ultrasound; a follicle count is simply part of a routine pelvic evaluation. If you have the probe to do the scan, you have the 'equipment' to see what is on the screen. To make matters worse, the first thing I was asked was whether this was for 'surrogacy or fertility.' My medical history and the reason for my doctor's order are private and should be irrelevant to an imaging center's ability to perform a scan they are licensed for. It felt like they were trying to gatekeep or screen me out rather than providing the service I had scheduled weeks ago. Because they waited until the literal eleventh hour to cancel, they left me in a panic to scramble to find a new facility over the weekend for a time-sensitive medical check. This is unprofessional, unreliable, and shows a complete lack of regard for patient care. If your health depends on a deadline, do not go here! read more

Two separate occasions I've been able to schedule an appointment over the phone. First on a Sunday and the second on a Saturday. Each time the Medi-Cal Lyft Line was unable to confirm my appointment because calls go straight to voicemail. The website says they're closed on Sundays, but when I called a representative on a weekday, they claimed they are open on Sundays. Additionally, the website says they're open on Saturdays and yet when you call on a Saturday they say they're not open. Clearly something needs to be fixed here and I don't know quite what but I'm never gonna bother trying to schedule an appointment here every again. Thanks for nothing Radnet. read more

I've been putting off my Mammogram for a while. Finally decided to schedule an appointment at the Palmdale location. The woman (Gloria) was extremely unwelcoming from the beginning. She never showed a decent way of being at all. This was my first time getting this done, which I Did let her know from the start, and not once was she kind to show or explain what this process was like. She seemed upset the whole time, never smile to show compassion for someone that was already nervous from the beginning. I felt extremely uncomfortable, being half undressed in the presence of this woman. YOU NEED TO DO BETTER ANTELOPE VALLEY ADVANCED IMAGING (RadNet) DO NOT COME HERE FOR MAMMOGRAMS, UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE TREATED BY A RUDE UNKIND WOMAN! Literally horrible phone experience with a man named Anthony. It's very clear he is not sure on how to do his job. I received an email from the company saying my dr had ordered a test so it's time to schedule my appointment, so I did. I had to wait 10 minutes for him to decipher the information I gave him and for him to tell me I can't schedule without authorization. Wild because I had an appointment before and didn't need it so why now. Also should have nothing to do with scheduling. I asked to speak to someone else and after a 8 minute hold he told me his supervisor would get back to me in 24-48 hours!!!! TWO DAYS?!?! Seriously?! Waited an hour, called up to reception and asked if I wanted to wait another hour or be rescheduled because the machine was down. I'd taken time off work and opted to be rescheduled to a weekend so if it were delayed no problem. I was seen a few minutes past my appointment only to be called a few days later they didn't get all of the images. I was asked to reschedule, I come in on a Saturday again and am told their MRI is down again and need to be rescheduled. Seems like their machines are always breaking down. The staff is nice but they've got to figure something out with their equipment being functional. read more

Office and system is archaic. All the information was filled in on line taking up to 30 minutes to work through your system. When we came in we had to fill all the paperwork out again. Asked why? "We have a glitch in the system"! Biggest side step ever to deal with a patient , nervous already , having a mammogram. Then before we could finish the paperwork we were called in . Received endless text to upsell to the point of annoyance. Unacceptable for a corporate entity. I will never recommend or return to this old , ridiculous location , with staff that are like robots. read more

My experience with Antelope Valley Advanced Imaging was an "industrial strength" horror story (in my opinion). I have an MRI compliant pacemaker, yet RadNet (their ACTUAL name) appears to have NO IDEA how to deal with this situation. Upon arrival for my test, I spoke with very pleasant and competent people, only to be eventually told that they could not accommodate an MRI compliant patient. "Why was I not TOLD this before wasting both MY TIME and yours?", I asked. No intelligent answer was provided, other than a vague reference to "the scheduling people", with the implication that they were not really very competent. Nice. Very nice...I was then directed down the hallway to speak to a very pleasant and well intended woman, who showed concern, but was ultimately unable to resolve the issue. I have since spoken to at least a HALF DOZEN persons in scheduling, (almost all with varying degrees of communication skills, ranging from *poor* to *horrible*, "in my opinion") yet only ONE (an actual American) actually made the effort to accommodate my needs, but their "system" would not allow it, for some inexplicable reason. Try as he might, he could not "'penetrate" their wall of insufficiency. They are simply not current on the latest technology needed (in my 'unlearned' opinion). This is unacceptable - I would not expect this in LOS ANGELES COUNTY, for heaven's sake! ONE OF THE MOST WEALTHY SECTIONS OF THE WORLD! This was truly an amazing experience, in the worst possible sense. I was in an incredible amount of pain, and needed this MRI so that my surgeon could work with an accurate "road map". The good news is that Advanced Imaging Center (an entirely different company, despite the 'similarity' in name) was able to fulfill my MRI needs, had complete familiarity with the fact that I have an MRI compliant pacemaker, possess the appropriate equipment and skills required, and was able to be a good partner in making me whole again. All done inside of 40 minutes or so of arrival. Kaiser will be notified concerning the unprofessionalism of this 'inappropriately named' "Antelope Valley Advanced Imaging". There is a good reason that VIRTUALLY *ALL* the reviews have been horrible. This company is to be avoided, much as one would avoid a high-crime section of a city in the United States.. The office staff was wonderful, however, the radiologist did not compare scans to previous ones taken in the RadNet system. All of my medical history which was listed in their electronic portal was ignored. I do not trust the accuracy of their reports because of these reasons. I will be getting a copy of my scans and go to another facility that I can trust. read more

In the last month, I've used their facility in Lancaster and Palmdale. In Lancaster, I had an ultrasound done. The results was so bad that they sent me to the Kaiser facility in panorama city to redo the ultrasound. The results were a lot different. So I am able now to have the surgery that the ultrasound was being done for. The second occurrence I went did it facility in Palmdale to have a CT scan done while the process went very smoothly my doctor my doctor now two weeks having the exam done is not received the results. read more

It is barely 7:30 in the morning and both front desk ladies have a really bad attitude. She couldn't even answer good morning. The other one threw the papers on the counter with attitude and was eating while she was speaking very low class broken spanish . It is embarrassing to the Spanish community to have not one but 2 front desk people so rude, displaying such bad manners and attitude for no reason. Not only that but she is eating her bagel and buggers at the same time, please blow your nose. It doesn't take too much to behave with a bit of education. read more

If I could put no stars I would! Type of care do not make me laugh, you will get better care from mcdonalds or walmart, it is the worst. I am not going off of just one time & one visit either. It is the beyond most disfunctional appointment system; the first time I was scheduled this is hilarious they scheduled me without even having the machines (period) in the facility, I checked in they didn't even tell me they were waiting for them to literally deliver the machines until after I sat there for over 30 minutes and at that point only person in lobby. Mind you full bladder this was 10 ish in morning & water blood pressure pill working on me, then after 45 minutes I go up & address them my medical ride will be coming soon at that point they told me they have no machine & are waiting for it to be delivered at least they were kind enough to reschedule me this was in East Palmdale. Now for the hell hole West Palmdale I get here a completely different time. RUDE NEVER go here but AGAIN the radnet's worst appointment scheduling system the bimbo scheduled me for Lancaster but told me to go to the west palmdale facility gave me their address & suite number I asked for it so I could schedule my medical transportation all to get there with the rudest employee Alice working front desk your not on our schedule, replying yes I am, she looks again oh your in Lancaster, I then tell her the lady on the phone gave me this address. She could have cared less really was oh well that's your problem. I then replied seven in the morning and there's nobody here, you can't schedule me for my appointment? The person that does your appointment is not here she doesn't come in till 8. I mentioned to alice this is bad this is the second time your scheduling has messed up, her reply & demeanor was oh well yes that happens. Her next demeanor & reply was you just have to accept it because they are not gonna change appointment scheduling system or company radnet is too big to care about you patients and her demeanor was cold callous sarcastic like she didn't have be concerned that the company she works for somewhere dropped the ball. These cruddy people they hire. Thank goodness there are other imaging companies up here. Waiting for my medical ride to take me home because radnet does not give a darn or care about the inconvenience their stupid company or system hires or the hateful hard heart employees they hire to be the first impression that is representing radnet! read more

The first time, it delayed surgery to repair my ankle, causine me months more pain and suffering ! But this time it is critical and could delay heart treatment that will save my husbands life!
