This is a very small mall, I never heard of most of the stores that they have there. I wouldn't want to legitimately go shopping here, I doubt I would be able to find anything. There are good restaurants surrounding the mall, and the employees throughout the mall are super nice. read more

As a former employee of Old Navy and shopper I can honestly tell you that this place is a teenager magnet. Early morning you get all the senior citizens walking around and drinking coffee by late morning early afternoon you get stay at home moms, after school you get all these so called smart teenager that think they know it all running like maniacs and chasing ugly boys. This place is also a place for many sticky fingers out there. Stores...........There are way to many furniture stores with sharks working there, such a turn off. You have your small cute shops that sell children items and other cute stuff for your child. There is a Guess store, Carters, Hollister, Macys, and Old Navy if you like to look like you spent a lot on an outfit. You can also get great deals at Forever 21. The majority of the stores are dirty and trashed from customers going through merchandise. The place seems somewhat clean and they have added chairs all around the mall. It has had a lot of changes through out the years which is good. They did add more stores and restaurants on the outside of the mall which is pretty cool. I don't come here that often to shop but when I do I check for bargains and the latest fashion for my family. Restaurants..........The mall added more dine in restaurants like Yard House and Claim Jumpers. The food court lost some chain restaurants but they added new ones and better ones. The food is a little more expensive than other food chains around the AV. They sure take advantage of that. Overall there is something for everyone to eat if you get hungry while shopping. Parking.............Parking is horrible horrible horrible!!! You get you normal AV 20 year old idiots speeding in the parking lot trying to impress everyone around. LAME!! It's a shocker when you actually see a young adults being polite as they are driving. I hate leaving my car due to dents, sticky fingers, and bad ass 20 year old drivers that think they are the shit. Over all I give the AV Mall 3 stars. It has it's good and bad. They do need more volunteer Sheriffs in the premises. read more

Worst parking lot ever! Once you get in, you can't get out! There was no stop sign for the traffic entering the lot and I had to wait about 10 minutes to exit the parking lot. Then, there is no sign indicating which direction which freeway is located. Finally got out only to find out I was going the wrong way! Horrible, horrible experience! The mall itself looked incredible sketchy with people lurking in their cars in the parking lot and wandering around. I definitely did not feel safe. Will not be returning! read more

I can't tell if the mall is even trying anymore or not. Yeah they put in H&M and Guess and Express, as well as splitting up Victoria Secret and Pink and adding Box lunch, BUT there are at least 4 Paradise furnitures now. It's a smaller mall to begin with and I feel like it's slowly being taken over by furniture stores and off brand shoe stores.The food court has been a mess forever. We don't go shopping very often, but I feel like making the trip to Santa Clarita is more worth the trip for the selection of stores available. The AV Mall can basically be summed up like this: If you need something in a pinch, you can find something to make do, but if you really want a nice shopping experience, you may want to drive a little longer. read more

I feel bad that I'm the first to review this mall. I'm from the San Fernando Valley / South Bay area so I'm a visitor here. What kinda mall doesn't have a Forever 21?! Well that was back then, but I think they opened one recently. I was so flabbergasted when I first came to visit my parents in Palmdale. They moved from the San Fernando Valley to Palmdale at the end of 2006, and they told me that this was the only mall in the area. I never even heard of Gottschalk. I love Old Navy, but this location bored me. No Metropark, Urban Outfitters, Macy's, Nordstrom, or any other store where people my age usually love to shop for clothes. I mean, there's Vans, Zumies, PacSun...but I don't think the skater/surfer style is everyone's interest. I never heard of half the stores they have here. And I remember my boyfriend & I walking into a random store to find bootleg Ed Hardy / Christian Audigier clothing. SAD. This place made me feel like I wasn't even in California anymore :( At least restaurants surrounding the mall are good places to eat at. read more

Pretty good place, average stores and I like that they have a Red Robin there. I also like the food court, however i am a tad bit disappointed they removed McDonald's because I like their nuggets and quarter pounders. I often shop at the Macy's, old navy, hot topic, and Dillard's. read more

I've been to this mall many times and it's clean and pretty festive on holidays as for decorations. The stores inside are pretty good especially the new additional restaurants and stores outside surrounding it. The movies is near by. The only thing wrong with it is parking is pretty bad maybe should make more one one day. They should have a Wells Fargo inside that would be nice also. Maybe some musicians too read more

As you see, this mall should be and will be shut down due too it's groundbreaking prices, as you may know they have limited stores and abandoned ones, So few people coming to enjoy this horrible place. A totally depressing experience! There's no ambience, no music, it's gray and black flooring says "cheap" and "depressed"!!! The stores are nothing to speak of and the merchandise carried is about 2 years behind the times. Unfortunately, the people who work in the stores have no idea...They told me a pair of particular vans were brand new, just released! When I explained that I owned that same pair two years ago (when they first came out), the employee said "they're new to us here and I didn't know"...what a joke. This mall needs music, better stores, better ambience and a place that clearly should make me want to spend my money-not hang on to it! LOL!!! The mayor of Palmdale says keep money local, spend locally...well, I say, bring the better products, put money into the city to make me want to spend money here! I'd love to, but can't give my money to stores who simply don't appreciate my business. Stores are pretty cool and there's a good variety of them as well. There are plenty of good restaurants that surround the mall that you can eat at. Inside the mall is pretty clean and the people there are quite friendly. It does however get packed during Christmas so be safe when driving. Traffic can build up all the way up the off ramp if you are coming from the north of the 14 so beware. Be safe everyone and Merry Christmas! read more

AV mall is my go to place whenever I visit my cousins in Palmdale. It's a big mall and reminds me or Cerritos mall since it's only one story. I like coming here because I can always find good deals and actually find things in my size! The forever 21 store is super big and has so many clothes that are always on sale. I like this mall and you can find really good deals here especially at H&M. The food court is just so, so and they get 1 star minus in that department but all of the other stores are great. HK kiosk has highly aggressive rude workers. She was very rude. We walked passed her (the kiosk) and my daughter was opening her water and the worker said ma'am. My daughter said no thank you and the worker said "I am not talking to you". I stopped and asked her why did she say that when my daughter declined appropriately. She said that she wasn't taking to her and was still talking about it when we were walking away. Lack of professionalism. Needs a class on how to successfully sell a product and how to speak appropriately to the public. read more

This mall is pretty big and has a lot to do. My friends and I were on a mission that started and ended at Hot Topic (just like back when I was in high school haha). Unfortunately, the merchandise we were looking for wasn't at Hop Topic. The girl restocking the area greeted us, but that was it. she made no attempt to ask what we were looking for or to help us find it. Overall, this mall is pretty good. Okay, this is not the best looking mall, but it has everything that you can want. Dillards, Macys, JC Penny, movies and all the restaurants your little tummy could desire. What it lacks in appearance, mall employees make up for it with enthusiasm. Mall employees are attentive, friendly, and make your shopping experience overly enjoyable. This mall in the Antelope Valley is very convenient for those people that live in Palmdale and Lancaster area due to it's location. Aesthetically, it looks very nice. It has a modern architectural design an it has some beautiful sky lights. The stores inside are great as well. Most of the stores I visit are usually clothing stores. Their prices are very reasonable. All the employees are very helpful and friendly. I was there with the family and I enjoyed it very much. I recommended. read more

This is a pretty good mall, especially coming from Panorama City, and the mall there was pretty bad and small...This one isn't huge or anything, but it's a pretty decent size and has the anchor stores of JCP, Macy's and Dillards.. So all in all a nice mall and pretty happy with it.. read more

So many memories here. However while I was growing up it was so much better, There was a science store, a Sun-coast video/movie store and a arcade and so much more variety. Which included a sword shop! Also there were water fountains that were fun to sit at and throw coins in while you enjoyed a pretzel!!!! Nowadays it's mostly Women's clothing. A furniture store has moved in and once in a blue moon when something interesting comes in it closes down pretty fast. This mall really isn't enjoyable to shop at anymore. The food court has also taken a dive. Not much of a selection there. The fun stores are almost completely gone and so is the water fountains. The only remaining upsides to the mall are the Red Robin and the Pretzel Maker. So in a nutshell this mall used to be a great place to be for everyone, now it's almost entirely lame. Yet in time and with little hope it can flourish again. read more

Lots of stores with a food court and carts around the mall. It is not a bad mall. Most of the stores here can be seen in various malls like Del Amo. I was surprise that one of the carts has a DeVry University recruiting cart. Go ahead and sign up if you dare so your future employers can tear up your resume afterwards. Another cart had custom t-shirt makers or something. One of them reminded me of my friend cause the shirt has the word S.W.A.G. on it. Right next to that was a custom decal for your car. Those decals will give you 50 extra horsepower Yo. Only one restroom in the mall and it is across from the food court besides being in the anchor stores. There is a cart rental that looks like fire trucks and I thought about my little nephew and how he likes going for rides though it is $6 yikes. McDonalds is in here. DQ. mmmmmmm Blizzard. Mrs. Field's cookies. Hot Dog on a Stick. Of coarse there is one here. and more fast food service. I came here for the Yard House which is right next to Claim Jumpers which is right next to Kirkland which sells home decoration stuff. They have to many furniture stores. Please put back the water fountain outside in front or put one inside the middle of the mall near entrance. Put a restaurant in the mall maybe like TGIF or Cheesecake Factory or maybe Dave and busters inside would make it fun. Maybe make the family restroom a bit roomier. This mall has changed and a lot of things have been taken away my favorite was children's place. They do try to have lots of events like kids club and birthday promos . My family and I went there this past weekend . Wrong place to go!!! Upon leaving this place as we were walking to the car , some black males in a white minivan started following us to our car..the whole time they were yelling racial slurs to us...my husband is white and i am Latina..it was a very scary situation as our 3 children were with us. We ran across a security officer whom was also black and told her what was happening and she laughed! And said what do you want me to do ? There's a van full of brothers! We literally called 911 after that and no response. By then we were in our car and just jammed out. Never again will we visit Antelope Mall. read more

I have been shopping at this mall since 1992. I am really disappointed by the availability of places to sit. Disabled and elderly need some places both inside the mall and outside the entry door of stores. My son was on arm crutches and made it to the first of the line at JC Penny's. The cashier took a customer over him and the 4 customers behind him. I asked to see the manager. I pulled him aside and stated I felt the cashier needed assertiveness and disabled customer training. I also asked about the lack of seating. The manager was brisk and I knew my comments were fallen on deaf ears. read more

Went to take my daughter's Santa picture here. Please don't waste your time, bad customer service, the people handling the line, pictures, and photographer don't know what they're doing. The Santa is super creepy, not warm and nice looking like the other Santas from years before. I've coming to this mall since 13 years ago with my first daughter, now my second daughter. Needless to say, I will not be coming back with this Santa to this mall. He looks more like Krampus than a Santa. Very disappointed after waiting an hour in line. I'm not gonna spend my hard earned money on a creepy Santa picture. Will go somewhere else for my 6 year olds Santa picture. What a waste of time. read more

This mall is the worst. It's small, there's not a wide selection of stores, the stores they do have rarely have what I'm looking for. You'd think they'd want to open a bigger variety of stores but instead they just open a new mattress or furniture store every six months, even though the multiple ones they already have are ALWAYS empty. Who is demanding even more furniture/mattress stores here? Whenever I want to go to the mall, I go out of town because this one absolutely sucks. read more

The mall is a great place to go to with friends or family. I've been there too many times to count and never had a problem with anyone. Although this mall is a bit small for my taste, it serves its purpose on most occasions. If I need to find a pair of shoes, I can usually find them here, especially athletic shoes. I do wish there was more to offer in the food court. I love that there are several restaurants in and surrounding the mall, but sometimes you just want a quick bite while you're shopping. Speaking of the food court, the play space could use a makeover. It's super tiny and not much for kids over 5. Maybe it isn't meant for them, but try telling your 7 year old that. Also, several of the stores could use a makeover: Macy's and Forever 21. Forever 21 is huge! However, they need a design team to come in and rearrange things. Visit the store in La Jolla, the set up is inviting and makes things easy to find. They have that huge space and don't seem to know what to do. Macy's needs a space like that, so they can add more items. All in all, it isn't bad for being located in the desert, but with malls closing, they may want to think about redesigning. read more

This was OK in the 90s. But since Amazon there really hasn't been a reason to go to the mall. I haven't really bought anything from the mall in years that I couldn't get off Amazon cheaper. However I used to enjoy the food court. Used to be a chill place to hang out. Not really anything of interest in there anymore. I do believe the set up has potential for better stores. Malls are a product of another time. I'm sad to see what they have turned into. read more
