I cannot express how grateful I am for the guys at this shop. I had 11 passengers driving from California to Arizona in a rental car and the a/c broke. I called them FIFTEEN minutes before they closed, and not only did they answer, they stayed open and waited for us to arrive. They greeted us with a/c and water and troubleshooted the issue and were literally like angels sent from God. The kindest people! When they found out it was the air compressor and they couldn't get the part until the next day, they arranged for someone to take the passengers in our vehicle in a personal vehicle. I got stuck in the middle of nowhere and decided to bring my car here. Anthony's communications skills were embarrassingly poor. I asked via text, and on the phone for a itemized quote and only gave me the price of the part and said he would give me a full quote once he figured out what was wrong with my car. Unfortunately, even after asking again, I never got a quote. I just got a surprise bill lol at least I made it home I guess. Lastly his assistant was RUDE and gave me attitude when I brought it to his attention, he said "she'll be fine" no apology or trying to make it right. When I took my car back to my mechanic he said he over charged me which I figured he would do but still gave him the benefit of the doubt. read more

Absolute joke of a shop. Tried to charge me $1700 for a job that I ended up doing myself in 4 hours. He ordered the wrong part for me TWICE. How does a competent mechanic even do that? I'm very pleased! On a long drive on the 10 freeway, my minivan suffered a broken axle, late on a Sunday evening, about 20 miles from Blythe. The tow truck driver recommended Anthoney's, so we dropped it in their lot at midnight, and called them the next morning. Not only did they look at the van right away, but they'd had the whole axle replacement done by mid-afternoon! The technicians were friendly and quick, and overall it was a great experience. My Wife daughter and I were on our way to Grand Canyon University to drop my girl off for college and we broke down in Blythe California and we had to get a tow, Anthony's garage kept his shop open way after hours to help us out he was able to do a diagnostic which he did not charge us for it because he knew we were stranded .. it happened to be the alternator. He had his wife take us to a hotel for the night. He Had his mechanic pick us up and take us back to his shop since we did not have a vehicle. .. when we got back to the shop the van was done and the price he charged us was amazing could not complain. I don't even know where to begin... 100000/10 stars!!!! Got stranded in Slalom, AZ on my way to CA. Towed to Blythe. First mechanic in town couldn't figure out the problem and tried to send me on my way (it was a rear main seal leak). Got referred to Anthoney's, the BEST in town. He called me on his day off and somehow talked one of his guys into coming in to diagnose. They started on my car first thing in the morning and I was on my way by 1pm 2 hours earlier than projected. This place is a RIP OFF! Dishonest owner. I took my sprinter here for a diagnosis for a screeching noise coming from the diesel engine. After a quick diagnosis, Anthoney told me it was a boost hose and would cost $530.00 for parts and installation. Not knowing what was involved (and stranded in Blythe at 107 degrees), I agreed. During the 7 hours I waited for the part to arrive, I checked on Amazon how much a boost hose for my sprinter would cost. Answer: $104. That leaves $426 for labor. I figured it must be a complicated installation. It wasn't. It took ten minutes to take the old hose out and installed new hose. At that rate, that equals $2,556 per hour for labor (6 x 426). I asked if they warranted their work. Answer: No. My receipt was a 2" paper print out. No details. In addition, Anthoney was unfriendly and he provided no air conditioned office to wait. . Conclusion: Don't go here unless you enjoy self-flagellation. read more

Anthoney and his staff, took their time to find out what was wrong with my husband's truck. I was glad he wanted to diagnose the problem himself. It took a few days to figure out the problem because there was no check engine light code. Anthoney fixed the truck and did a great job. He and his staff are very helpful and friendly. He is very busy and you may have to wait a bit, but his services are well worth the wait. The problem was an expensive, fix, but much less than the other places we had received estimates from. I just wanted to say this business is fantastic, owner is very knowledgable, professional, fair and enthuastic to help resolve your automotive problems expeditiously. Staff is also nice and experienced. The drive between L.A. and Phoenix can be brutal, I've done it dozens of times and had various problems over the years. While driving from CA to WI, our Mini Cooper S broke down about 10 mi out of Blythe. I called a few places to find out if they worked on Minis, and they said no. When I called Anthoney's, he said yes, and arranged to tow our car within 30 min. He ordered a new fuel pump for us (it took a few days because it was a weekend), put it in and checked it. He found there was an electrical connection issue in the junction box and did a great job tracking it down and fixing it. We were afraid it was going to cost a fortune, but he was very fair and very thorough. We're very glad we found him and highly recommend him. read more

We were on our way to Phoenix fron So Cal and the battery light went on 5 miles from here. We first went to another shop (well known chain) but they were too busy to help us "damsels in distress". My car was brought here because it was overheating and he said it was the thermostat but It wasn't he was on his phone the whole time left it in there for about 2 hours just so that it could over heat 20 minutes after. I ended up fixing it myself after he charged $300 and he doesn't know what he's doing I had my newborn son and he doesn't seem to care for peoples safety such a bad place. read more

We were very blessed to run into Anthony this last week. We were driving home from Arizona and ran into a dust storm. We pulled over in Blythe and decided to stay the night due to the unpredictable nature of these types of storms. The next morning we got up to drive out of town and before the next exit out of Blythe, the car sputtered. I needed to be home for work and my daughter needed to get home before volleyball practice. We were a bit panicked and were able to get back to town. At this point, it was about 7:00 in the morning. I was able to pull up Anthony's Automotive on Maps and called the number, a a few times. At about 745, we got a call from Anthony. His shop opened at 8:30 and so we thought we'd be waiting in the Starbucks parking lot until then. However, he said he would come down to the shop now to run a diagnostic. We were extremely grateful and met him there. Within a couple of hours., the car was fixed and we are on our way. I will be forever be grateful to Anthony. Also feel blessed to have not stayed on the road that night as we probably would've been stuck. I feel the Lord was watching over us. read more
