Truly a painless experience. My truck sat for about two years so everything needed to be looked at. They communicated everything they did to my truck and went above and beyond. On Friday, April 25th, right at closing time, I pulled into EZ Lube. That's when I encountered Nahuel. When I pulled up, I got out of my vehicle leaving the engine running. I left the engine on because I fully expected Nahuel to turn me away when I asked him to do an emissions test. Instead of telling me that he couldn't do it, he said he didn't see why he couldn't. He referred me to SP, who was equally as helpful. Surprised to see me, she was glad to help, despite it being closing time. I just left I was the only one there and asked the owner if I could get a oil change change he said yes let me get my son he goes out his son comes in and says they can't do it and started to give me the it's to late it's 345 I just turned around left went down the street got a oil change then got something to eat drove back by and you guessed it he was doing a oil change it's now 440 this is the third time the son has done this what it seems like is if you are not Hispanic you get no service from the son someone had told me this before and I didn't believe it now I do will never go there again because I don't have to beg for service somewhere I'm not wanted read more

My van was totaled and I wanted it fixed anyway bc it only has 100,000 miles on it. They worked so hard to find the parts and fix it at a reduced price. I just drove it 1,300 miles & it's perfect. They were able to get me in right away for a smog check. I needed the smog check to get my car registered that day and another place that smogs wanted me to wait another 3 hours before they could get me in.. Yeah not happening I just drove 2.5 hours and I'm not going to sit around. Not the other places fault obviously but still. This place was clearly a life saver. They had my car smogged by the time I came back from across the street with cash. My only complaint is that they charge an extra 2% if you use debit or credit. $83 for a smog check. I don't know very many people who carry around that much in cash. So I would assume most people pay the 2%, unless they bank across the street. I get little shops that charge little amounts for things like chips and water, small purchases, etc charging for the machine fee but this shop has larger charges. Just my opinion. I can't say enough great things about EZ Lube in Blythe, CA. While in Quartzsite, AZ from December until early April 2022-2023, mice decided to make a new home under my minivan's hood. After my check engine light came on, I discovered the issue was the knock sensor. After meeting with EZ Lube, I left knowing I would be receiving excellent service, at a reasonable cost. Sergio and his son, Nahuel were extremely caring and helpful. They explained and showed me the damage the mice created, and made sure all work performed was top quality. I highly recommend EZ Lube to anyone who needs a simple oil change to more intense work as a knock sensor. When I return to Quartzsite, AZ this fall, I'll be sure to visit EZ Lube for my oil change. read more

Today I drove 2hrs from Arizona to get a SMOG Cert on my California Vehicle. Now in all fairness in writing this review, this was the second patronizing this establishment. Last year I smogged one of my other vehicles at this business and while the customer service was not the best it was nothing like I experienced today. They have children trying to service adults who know nothing about the smog check process. When I tried to inform the kid who was helping me that it's not required to have the DMV paperwork to get the smog check done, the kid started arguing with me. When I informed the kid he can't talk to me like that because I'm old enough to be his parent he got more agitated. By this time an old man came walking up who I think his name is Sergio and I'm like finally an adult I can talk to. I simply asked him would you mind helping? The old man looked at me and said, "Get the F*** out of here you POS. I saw you over here arguing with a teenager." No, I was not arguing with a teenager. I was simply informing him how the process with the DMV works and a vehicle can be smogged without the paperwork. From there the situation escalated further with two adults and two children dropping F-Bombs telling me how I need to leave. The adults allowed the children to drop F-Bombs to another adult. That should tell you all you need to know. When I'm driving off I hear the old man Sergio ask the kid now tell me what happened? I will happily leave and take my business elsewhere. Went to another establishment and had a smog check done for $54. I cannot recommend this business. read more

These folks were lovely, quite friendly and efficient. They all took very good care of me. Had to have my vehicle taken in for a smog. The gentleman then stated that he would be unable to preform any repairs to my vehicle as his shop is unable to accommodate repairs to the emission systems in vehicles. This is contrary to sign that is painted on the side of the building which states that it is an authorized smog repair facility. Very disappointing read more

These guys are a$$holes and crooks. They speak very little English and are rude. They failed me twice for some monitor they said wasn't ready and never told me what to do about it. I drove it like the son said (his dad spoke no English) and I did. I returned a month later and it failed again - same reason. I told them I did what was suggested and they said I was supposed to drive between 50-55 mph. I told them you didn't say that before and the old Mexican guy said "I don't have to"...They are gouging me and I truly belive the old Mexican guy unhooked my battery to get the failed test. Excellent service. The owners were about to close their shop but kept it open for us after our car's engine light came on. They fixed our car issue without incident, and the price was reasonable. I went on a Thursday afternoon. Took them around 25 min or so to get my car in for a smog check. If you got a CA car but are coming from AZ, this is the place to go. $83 for successful smog check, $70something for a failed one. A little higher than normal but given that it's the only smog check station till probably Indio, it's well worth the money to avoid more of a drive. I didn't talk to the owners much but they were efficient, polite, and quick to get the job done. Couldn't ask for anymore. read more

I am a student living in Phoenix but my truck is still registered in CA. I came here for my routine smog check to renew my tags and it was a really friendly and quick 30 minute service. A/C in the waiting area. Esperanza was very sweet and appropriately conversational. Sergio was efficient, tentative and respectable/respectful. A great experience for a rather laborious task. If you have to drive 2 hours and 15 minutes for a 10 minute smog check, the service you will get at EZ-lube is a nice silver lining. read more

Needed a smog before I could update registration, so EZ lube seemed the perfect place for all the reviews I read. I also needed my new tags before I was about to drive across state and home to the Bay Area. I arrived at the garage and within minutes Esperanza was assisting me, she even went the extra mile to put all of my documents together with their smog report and pointed out the route to the DMV; it was a block away. Her husband did the smog and my car passed.I asked for a recommendation for a good place to have lunch, and we were done in 20 minutes. What great people, good service and genuine.
