Immediately after pouring, the person just disappointed, not seen again until someone in our party wanted to buy something. Then he came running out from wherever he was hiding. I managed to secure a reservation for a Sunday night of their opening week. The wine bar is super cozy on a cold winter night. We drank great glasses of wine, and also got two cheese plates, one cow and one goat cheese, and butter beans. They had gluten free crackers to accompany, so that was great. The cheeses were great and the butter beans really delicious. They offer small plates. This is a good spot for an appetizer, or small dinner, or before theatre, for example. The service was impeccable. I wish they had more traditional wines, though. Some more Italian wines and French wines would be great. Pet nat is not my favorite, but it definitely hits with that hipster vibe they are going for and trying to make wine more accessible to all. The ambiance hits and I would call it 80s chic meets modern warmth. There were candles and dark, moody green walls, and 80s décor to round it out. It is chic. Try it out.
