While in the Niagara Falls area, we stopped in here for a tasting. The lady working there was nice and we had some samples. They have some indoor and outdoor seating. They have some heaters for outside as well. It is a little off the beaten path but it was fun and glad that we went.

Went on an impromptu wine tasting trip with the family on the last day before we fly out. We are so glad that we stopped by here. They have wine tasting, wine slush, and beer tasting. With tons of seating indoors and outdoors. The service is amazing! Everyone was so kind and friendly. And helped us carry our stuff to the table. I highly recommend this place!

Great ambiance and knowledgeable staff. We stopped here on the way to dinner to sample the wines and really enjoyed everything about it. There is a large indoor space for seating along with a picturesque patio overlooking the vineyard. The staff helped me pick a great variety of wines to sample, and we left with bottles to share later.

Wonderful atmosphere, friendly people! Enjoyed the wine & live music. Nice patio for enjoying a snack with your friends.

Wine flight top to bottom : Cabernet, Pinot noir, bourbon Chardonnay, dry reisling, and diamond.

So nice! We came at 12:30 on a Saturday. The staff were so knowledgeable and kind. Highly recommend trying the bourbon Chardonnay and the diamond! Our flight from top to bottom was the Cabernet, Pinot Noir, bourbon Chardonnay, dry resiling, and diamond. All were amazing! I was telling the lady how different the bourbon Chardonnay was and she even offered me to try it cold and it was so cool to experience the different taste compared to room temperature. We will be returning in the future. This was a trip my boyfriend and I planned for our anniversary and this was our first stop and they definitely made it memorable.

Wine is very nice. Service is amazing. The ladies working today are wonderful. Today was such a beautiful fall day to have a tasting in the patio.

Came back today for a tasting and had a great experience. Masks are no longer required. There's plenty of seating both inside and outside. Tastings are $9 and include 5 good size pours of wine. Good selection of dry wines and sweet wines. There are also beer tasting flights as well. Service was great too. We also really appreciate that they offer wine bottle recycling here, and brought back a few bottles since our town recycling program no longer accepts colored glass. Highly recommend for an enjoyable tasting experience overlooking their vineyard.

I've been taking visitors to the Niagara Escarpment wineries for years, but this was my first time visiting Bella Rose and it has now earned a permanent place on my tour route for my future guests. I loved the glass trees you use to transport your five selections to a table where you can take your time and enjoy your tastings. The tasting room Is spacious with plenty of tables and there is covered outdoor seating available. There was live entertainment outside on the day of our visit. The staff was friendly and informative. They offered tastings of flights of beers as well as wines. My one criticism is to find a better way to handle the dirty glasses rather to accumulate them on the valuable bar space.

One of the pricier tastings, $8.50 for 5, but the pours are generous and the wines taste great. I tried the pinot noir, dry riesling, Isabella, bubbles, and catawba. The Isabella was probably my favorite, but I came home with a bottle of the sure-to-please catawba. All the wines I tried taste great. We just love wines from the tangy catawba grape most of all, especially for BBQ season, which is almost upon us. The Isabella is a blend that includes the Niagara grape, which I don't like alone, but works well in blends. Sophisticated with a touch of sweetness. The winery is bright and airy. Service is good. Another great addition to our woefully underrated wine trail.

When you think you went to all the niagara County wineries always do another search. We found Bella and when we asked the owner they have been open about 2 years.with covid it is a little different but the wines were really good. You can choose a flight of 5, a glass or a bottle. Since this was our first time we chose to share a flight of wine. They give you your wine on a wine carrier and you choose a table to sit and enjoy. Then we ended up getting a glass of wine to enjoy. It was still cold out but they also have a patio to enjoy the nice weather. They also have beer. You can purchase a glass to taste. The owner is working on getting tasting for the beers. Of course you can purchase wine and beer. Of course we bought some wine to stock up. Great wines and friendly owner.

Lovely winery, great wines. Our group stopped here for a wine tasting. The server behind the counter was friendly and helpful in selecting our flight. We ordered a flight of 5 wines. They came on a beautiful cascading holder. We sat outside on the deck overlooking the vinyard and enjoyed sipping them. There was a craft fair setting up at the vinyard as well, with some great artisans. Very nice place!

We took a Niagara USA Wine Trail tour and visited 4 NY wineries. This was our first stop and they do it right. Beautiful location, building, good service, lots of wine for about $8.50. Lots of sweet wines, but we enjoyed the Ridge Red and ordered a full glass of that. They can accommodate larger groups, not sure if they take busses or limos (many do not). If you are visiting the falls this winery is near by, they also have a tasting room within walking distance of the falls if you do not have a car. Enjoy, Cheers!

Continuing alphabet series representing 2025, P is for Peller Estates Winery. My girlfriend & I…read morevisited Niagara Falls & Toronto in June 2025. We drove up to Niagara-on-the-Lake as I had good things about that area. I asked a local what wineries recommended and was told about Peller. There are about 40 wineries to choose from in Niagara-on-the-Lake, and Peller Estates ended up being an excellent one. We drove up to a large estate with fields. Bartender was friendly. We asked about wine tastings. Bartender mentioned how Canada has ice wine, which American wineries don't have. She let us sample it to see if we liked, which we did and opted to just get the ice wine. Wow, that was a delicious white wine! I wish we had that in the US. But in general, much of the US climate is too warm for ice wine. The grapes are out there to freeze solid. Ice wine needs to be picked below 18 F (-8 C). In Maryland where I live, winter can get cold, but it's inconsistent, some years barely any days below 18 F in Baltimore. Ideally, you want multiple days in a row for a more sustained freeze instead of rushing out for the few hours it might get down to 15 F. On the flip side, it can be too cold in northern Minnesota (where it easily gets below 5 F or -15 C often, which is the lower temp limit) or upstate NY. Also, heavy lake effect snow like that often occurs in Buffalo is problematic. It's a specific microclimate of the Niagara peninsula near Lake Ontario, where it gets cold but not extremely cold too often, not many heavy snowfalls. In the US, near Lake Erie is the sweet spot for ice wine in southwest NY, northern PA, & northeastern OH. Also, northern Michigan near Great Lakes as well as the Finger Lakes region of NY. The lakes moderate the temperatures in the winter if winery is positioned south of the lake, but needs to also be in an area not prone to be slammed by heavy Lake Effect snows like Buffalo. We wanted to sit on the outside, but there was a private event being setup. We sat at a nice table inside the beautiful estate. Afterward, we brought our glasses back to the bartender thanking her and saying the ice wine was excellent. She took the glasses back and said here are 2 clean glasses to take with you thanking us for our visit. This was an excellent experience. Highly recommend a visit to Peller Estates!

Start with price. $48 per person for a four stop tour. About twice the going rate for wine tours in…read morethe region. Tour Stop 1. Conference room where we got a short history from the guide. Sampled a champagne style wine. Stop 2. Balcony overlooking vineyard. the guide told us one type of grapes on the left another type on the right. Two more types behind the building. Sampled a white wine. Stop 3. Barrel room. Short discussion of barrel aging and coopering. Sample cheap blended red wine. Pretty underwhelming so far. Stop 4. Ice room, set to -10 degrees. Room furniture is made from ice. Room is cool, literally and figuratively. Probably the justification for the high tour price. Small sample of cheapest ice wine they sell. Tour ends in the store, what a surprise. I asked to try a different version of the ice wine, tried it, liked it, decided to buy a bottle. Note this was a bit more expensive than the cheap wine we tried. I asked to try a Gamay red wine, tried it, liked it, decided to buy a bottle. Note this was a more expensive than the cheap red wine we tried. I asked to try a different version of the red wine, but this time a different lady said I had to pay $7 for the 1 ounce sample. She also seemed to want to charge me for the previous two 1 ounce samples. I did try it and liked it, and decided to buy a bottle. Note this was even a bit more expensive than the previous wine i bought. Two issues with their sampling pricing. 1. It works out to about $35-40 a glass for a normal glass. that's a lot. 2. Why does the customer have to pay to try a wine they might want to buy. The tour only shows cheap wines so it does not show off any really good, or more pricey, wines. Seem like short sighted marketing to me. Conclusion = over priced tourist trap.

We were actually running behind schedule as our GO train was delayed and didn't get to the tour company's location until 30 minutes past our scheduled start time. We notified the tour guide we were running late and she was kind enough to wait on us and even offered to send someone out to find us. Laura was great in pointing out interesting landmarks and telling us stories about the town. She kept everything organized throughout the tour ensuring we were on schedule and offering to take plenty of pictures for us! We went to four boutique wineries - Riverview, De Simone, Pilliterri, and Between the Lines. There were 14 wine tastings in total and we were all getting tipsy by the end of the 3rd winery so it's def more than enough wine for the price paid! Riverview had a cheese and cracker pairing with the tasting, Pilliterri had a brief tour in front of the vineyard and wine cellar, and there was a blind tasting at De Simone. Our favourites at the end of the day were Riverview and De Simone. The wine tasting at De Simone was different in that the owner/winemaker, Vincenzo, hosts the tasting with us. For all other tastings, they were performed by employees at the winery. So it was a very personal and inspiring experience to talk with Vincenzo directly. While Between the Lines was more generous in pouring wine for the tasting, we were not very impressed by the taste of the wine (too strong and quite sour) and how the tasting seemed rushed. This is why I only gave 4 stars. It was glass after glass without really giving us time to appreciate the wine. So the tour didn't end on a high note for us.. but this is definitely not the tour company's fault as the tasting was hosted by the winery. While we were not fans of Between the Lines, other persons on the tour did like the winery so it's really a matter of personal preference.. All in all, highly recommend this winery van tour if you are looking for one in Niagara! Exceptional customer service!

We really enjoyed our wheel and wine tour…read more.. Really liked the fact they use the small boutique wineries rather than the typical larger ones. However I feel we could have gone to four instead of just three wineries. Maybe take out the tour and add a fourth winery for an additional tasting. James was out tour guide and he's definitely a personable and friendly. He gave us historic lessons of the area and took us through beautiful routes on the way and back from the wineries. It was very well paced and felt very relaxing! Bikes were in good condition, a basket would have been more helpful than the little pouches. Overall I would highly recommend this tour company...
