There are a variety of strength training equipment located throughout the gym space and not just in one area. I liked how things were spaced out with the opportunity to even be away from crowds. All the machines seemed well kept up and the space was clean. Once upstairs near the cardio machines I couldn't find the towel booth and honestly there wasn't anyone available to ask. The staff here seem pretty hands-off and extremely involved in socializing with each other, I guess this is the norm.

My 7 year old daughter has attended several events at Warrior Tech. Mostly, the evening kids…read moreclasses, but she has also been a drop in for a day at camp, and she went to a birthday party of a friend she met through Warrior Tech. In all three instances, I would give this facility a 5/5 review. What I appreciate most is how much the instructors (aka techs, aka trainers) care and the values they are emphasizing. Obviously they are looking to promote healthy habits through diet and exercise. But more than that, I am seeing them instill values of good sportsmanship and teamwork. Seeing my daughter cheer on the kids in her class and then seeing the other kids rooting her on....I just love it. And when I see one child helping another do a skill or obstacle, working together.... I have no words. Competition is not a bad thing. It definitely has its place, but the ability to work as a team is a far more valuable skill and one that may not come as naturally as competitiveness. The techs are passionate about what they are doing and seem genuinely proud when a child gets a little further up the warped wall then they did last time they tried. Or when a child has better form on pushups than he/she did the prior class. I love seeing the pride and confidence my daughter emits when she figures out a new skill and I feel that same pride and genuine positivity from the instructors as well. She has spent a good bit of time at Warrior Tech, but never gets bored. The instructors are so creative in setting up new obstacles, exercises, and games. I will say they can be strict...but only when it comes to safety and never without good reason. This is, obviously, not a bad thing. When these obstacles are potentially dangerous, I want safety emphasized and I'm grateful for a reasonable amount discipline in the pursuit of a safe environment. If my child were doing something that increases risk of injury (to her or someone else), I would rather her receive a few stern words than a broken bone. As far as the birthday party we attended, it was a great time. So much so, that I booked my daughter's party at Warrior Tech as well. If you have really young ones, I don't know that I would recommend Warrior Tech. I would say at least age 5 on up to adulthood. Honestly, I wouldn't mind having my birthday party here and from what I understand, they have hosted parties for adults! The kids were completely engaged in the activities during the party. Again, you felt the teamwork and camaraderie as the kids ran through the obstacle race with their friends chanting their name. The vibes here are just great! Positive energy. Enthusiastic and encouraging employees. Overall, a great place to work out and have some fun for both kids and adults.

He tells me that the instructors were fantastic. He's 12 and typically enjoys obstacle courses, so this camp was right up his alley. If your kid has no interest in playing on workout equipment and completing obstacles all day, please don't sign them up for the camp. It makes it less fun for the others who are there to get better at their skills. But, if your kid loves running, climbing, and all things ninja warrior, then this is definitely the right place!

Went to a Saturday morning workout class at the new Legend FIT Gym. There are no "official" signs…read moreup yet, but it's in the building directly next to Snap Fitness. The one hour class was easy to follow for a new comer and you could easier tailor it to your fitness level as almost all of the activities we did were using your own body as resistance. We did a circuit workout with Tabata added in, a term I'd never heard of until my workout. Tabata is a high-intensity style of workout where you do twenty seconds on with ten seconds rest, with about 3-5 rounds of each exercise. I liked that we hit every muscle: legs, arms, backs and added in cardio with laps to start and in between muscle groups. The gym is build to help obstacle course races, so in addition to the circuit workouts they offer, they also offer almost anything you could imagine to train for your upcoming race: rope climbs, monkey bars, wall climbs, an assortment of hanging bars and rings to practice on and much more. If you're looking for a spot to train for your next obstacle course race, I'd definitely recommend Legend FIT Gym. And if you want to test them out before joining, they do offer a one week "trial" for newbies.

The reason for 3 stars is the communication between the students and the teacher is very spotty and some times we show up for our class and the doors are locked and no one is there. There needs to be a much better communications source so we know when the class is and is not going to happen.

There are two additional trainers there: Dawn (female) and Ashley (male). Let them know if you have a preference when you call to make an appointment! They have group fitness options as well, I simply stick to the single option because it's proven to work best for my lifestyle and personality. The stand-alone facility is the perfect size property off of Glenwood South in downtown Raleigh, easy to get to (I walk when the weather is favorable from my downtown Raleigh apartment and drive when it's cold - there's plenty of parking there) and they have had some clients for 10+ years. It's just a testament to the "family" atmosphere they've created and strive to maintain year after year. I definitely recommend Personally Fit if you want an individualized fitness plan.

My wife and I started going again this past January and we've had a huge boost to our health. The best thing about Chris and his staff is that they have great COVID safety practices, each workout is completely customized, and they LISTEN! I wouldn't visit again unless I'm on this side of town. This location is Raleigh but more awake Forest adjacent l, which is out of the way.

As you know granne is a Zumba gold fitness intructor with over 10 years of shaking bomboms in Metrowest, MA. Its the Zumba fitness mentality - A BODY IN MOTION STAYS IN MOTION (and you haven't lived until you see an 80+ twerking or rocking perfect squats!). Yea. Grannie is also a lifetime lifter, overweight (have you read my reviews on how much I EAT?! duh), active, and in the professional great company of some of the most recognized international ergonomists, biomechanists, exercise physiologists, academics and inventors. It's what grannie does when she's not stuffing her face somewhere... But I digress. I am a HUGE fan of MOST of the F45 philosphy - functional moving has helped my broken body in ways that I say are short of the best mental and physical therapy I have done through my recovery, but the F45 formula exists for the demographic it serves - the need to be "Kardashian or barbie-like 22-42 year olds with money to spend on looking good, "because heaven forbid I dont", with a very approachable system that is less destructive than cross-fit training. THIS F45 thinks its a cross-fit dig. Now the goodies on Heritage Corner: This facility is clean to a fault! Cleanliness is close to godliness in my book. Very spacious, illuminated, well thought through. The staff... that I experienced during my out of town (and out of body and out of my mind for staying) with trainers that KNOW the F45 model and sell it well. Their locals/regulars are fit and fabulous, music is on point, and dancing allowed. A+ then goes to hell in a handbasket down to a C- (hey at least its not a failing grade. C's get degrees and leaves room for humility... I mean, growth, which I am SURE they will have!). I'm accountable: I have an attitude - I have been broken so many times I am beyond mindful of how I train for myself (with great coaches that have worked with my ergonomics and kinesiology for 2+ years and still going, yielding improvements in strength, muscle mass, balance and pain management - SHOUT OUT TO F45 HUDSON). F45 IS NOT CROSS FIT. BUT THIS F45 things its a cross fit center... I may have violated their precious rule of F45 etiquette reaching (SAFELY AND NOT AT THE EXPENSE OF OTHERS) equipment that I KNEW I could use to MODIFY to my body... but the gorgeous and insanely stuck up manager (queue real housewies) slapped my snout (cute southern-charm style "bless her heart) - maybe deserved, but she was so focused on HER workout, she didn't bother to assess MY needs as a visitor. After that I was afraid to ask. I had left a bar near where I was going to use it (I got permission from Lindsay), but Mr Milennial "D" put it away before I got there (WT..?). SO forget it. "Get in line girl", YESSIR! (I'm old enough to be his mom!). The stuck-up staff reflects leadership - no surprises there. Sorry "D", but I work with engineers from MIT that are seriously MORE HUMBLE and approachable. Their chip isn't even close to your tone deafness. D is a professional, knows his F45 stuff (ANYONE CAN BE TRAIN ON HOW TO TEACH THE WORKOUT) until he has to deal with someone who doesn't adore on him. During the brief "drive through" interview I told them my comorbidities, only to be started at: 1) on the most challenging 2 minute shoulder drill 2) SHOULDER - IF they had LISTENED, they would have not started me on upper back, shoulder and neck. BAD COACHING! Then as I was gazing PAINFULLY trying to decide to I stay or do I leave, he YELLED OUT like I'm a child (I'm old and not wearing hearing aids yet), where I needed to go. Sorry, but my pain was a warning I didn't heed, and it was drowning out your smugness. MY FAULT that I didn't walk out. I wanted to finish my workout and get my $15 visitor drop in fee worth. BTW, they can give a one day pass. Particularly when my F45 coach/manager had contacted them ahead of time... So ask. If you are 22-42, no injuries and weight to lose, a local resident and not a brat like me AND you don't mind coaches that are in love with themselves and their adoring fans, DONT shy away because my experience was bitter sweet. Get your buns in and get ready to build muscle, endurance and have (MAYBE) a great time while you are at it. ITS NOT CROSSFIT. It should be SAFE, tailoredly intense and delivers. Or try another one (Raleigh?). F45 WORKS. Slowly and overtime you will get results, the results you set yourself up for, and YOU DONT HAVE TO DRINK THEIR KOOL-AID. You can make it work for you! Unfortunately, if this had been my first experience, it would have been my last. I'm an oddball and we just didn't have chemistry (doesn't excuse their "tone deafness"...) Time for me to get off my buns now and go for a walk. I see a poke bowl in my future after the delicious bagel I just scarfed down... more on that here on Yelp! Eating my way through Wake Forest!
