It was an in and out same day procedure that took about 10 mins and requires 3 visits. There is discomfort but not extreme. Overall it is better than the typical surgery.

The office staff is horrible! No one whatvis going on, messes up appointments and have been rude to me over the phone. Recently, my daughter had an appointment to see a nurse for a specialized medicine. She took time out of college and her mother time out of work to bring her. When they arrived, they were told the nurse (the only one trained for this specialized medication) was out and has been out for a few days. There wasn't any calls to inform my daughter. As a matter of fact, she received texts confirming her appointment! Meanwhile, her doctor has been upset that she hasn't started her medication yet! For myself, my doctor (PCP), referred me to Dr Warren for my own issues. Luckily I haven't scheduled an appointment yet but I did call my PCP and asked him to find another GI doctor or practice. I will NOT go-to this practice! If my daughter wasn't so invested there already, I would've had her change practices. I still may! Maybe these doctors have better staffs at their other locations but I'd stay clear of the Farmington Hills location!

Great doctor. He was even featured in HOUR magazine for Top Docs. As for the office... waits are a little long, but I understand. They have great doctors. The office always has a few people in the waiting room. Very Clean office. Nice staff. As for the procedures i have had related to Troy Gastro- No complaints except 1. 1. - The prep for a colonoscopy is to drink a full bottle of Miralax Laxative to flush your system. That stuff is going flush you out like you just woofed down 100 greased lightning sliders from White Castle. It is not enjoyable experience for anyone. By the end of the night you are so thankful it is over. You will never want to see a bottle of Miralax again! BUTT WAIT...... the first thing you see at the Troy Surgical Center is a empty bottle of Miralax with silk flowers in it greeting you on the check in counter. Thats the very last thing you want to see the morning of your procedure! I think they realized this because it has since been removed. It was a creative thought, I will give them that. Granted that may not have been Troy Gastro's fault per say... butt they work hand and hand with the Troy Gastro. Other than that small bump in the road I'm a grateful and happy patient over all =)

I paid $150 for their transportation service and also paid out of pocket for all of my prep supplies. When I arrived for my appointment, I was told that the office had given me the wrong colonoscopy prep instructions, which meant my colonoscopy had to be canceled and rescheduled. Since I was already there, in a gown with an iv, they proceeded with the endoscopy. After that. I didn't hear from the office for an entire week. Thev finally called to reschedule the colonoscopy. I returned the call and left a message asking to discuss reimbursement for the transportation and prep expenses I would now have to pay again because of their mistake. No one ever called me back. What's especially frustrating is that the office called and messaged me repeatedly before my procedure to make sure I confirmed my appointment. But when it came time to take responsibility for their error and address my concerns, they went completely silent. It's now been over a month since my procedure. I still have zero biopsy results and nobody will return any of my calls regarding anything. I had to stop taking the medication prescribed to me because the side effects were bad. I called the office to find out what to do about the medication. Never heard back from them. I continue to get sicker with zero answers. I'm hiring a lawyer tomorrow. I would never recommend this practice to anyone.

Although the office was a little disorganized due to recent relocation, the nurse was so sweet and was very gentle and kind with our tiny baby. When we met with the doctor, he had this calming, reassuring and kind aura about him. He listened to our concerns, examined our baby, told us his thoughts, and finally asked if we had questions which he thoroughly answered. He was very thorough and took the time to explain everything so that we would completely understand everything he was saying. I arrived there in tears and left feeling completely at ease, confident, and happy about what was going on with my son.

Check-in was fairly seamless and my wife got in for her procedure10 minutes early, which was nice. The nurses and staff throughout the process were very professional and very nice. I asked my wife if she had any complaints and she said there were none. The reports we received following the procedures were very clear and provided all the key information we needed as a record copy. I was able to go in under Google searches based on this report to get any clarification I needed and find out more information on the findings from her procedure. Overall, I was quite pleased with the end product that we received from this business. Relative to billing I will update this review if we see any issues here as well. Hopefully not, as we discussed our insurance coverage that we had upfront to ensure there would be no issues down the road. We shall see!
