If you go in knowing it is an emporium and not a bar, you will like it much more. I wouldn't say it's well ventilated, but I think that doesn't bother most of their clientele. They do have a large selection of cigars but I wouldn't say they are the cheapest prices. I'd go there again if I was in the area. JIMMY is the MAN! When we showed up,we were very intimidated, not knowing anything about cigars, and not being a smoker made for a very uncomfortable upfront interaction. Walked in with my three cousins and Jimmy made us feel right at home. He joked around with us, he was extremely knowledgeable and was able to provide that knowledge to us without coming off as arrogant or cocky, which was extremely appreciated. It was my cousin's 21st birthday and she was extremely shy, as she is an introvert. Jimmy, without hesitation began asking her what type of flavors she's likes and gifted her, her very first cigar for her 21st birthday and paid for it himself. Nice lounge, very good selection, and super friendly staff, which is not always the case in a store when you are not a regular. My son and I stopped by on the way to game 3 of World Series and relaxed with cigars before going to the stadium. First time visitor in this store and definitely the last. When I came into the store there was no "how are you doing" " can I help you find something" none of that. The guy was into his phone and I guess I was a nobody to him. When I walked in the humidor, I noticed right away the cigars had that foggy film on the cellophane which means over humidified cigars. I started going to Anthony's cigar lounge about year age, I'm there 5 to 6 times a week i hang out in the lounge for about two hours a day and pick up cigars to take home. I spend about $170.00 to $ 200.00 per a week on cigars. Saturday 08/14/21 I went to his place ( Jim ) at 11:45 A.M. the door was locked Jim was telling me from inside we open at 12 noon. So I was going to leave at the point but Jim opened the door to let me in 15 min. early. I never saw the sign outside about 12 noon. When Jim let me in he was going on and on about the 12 noon opening and wouldn't stop raging about it. Jim also said if I ever came early again he would not let me in.I then said in a joking way that he was a grumpy old man. It was all in fun. At that point he told me to get out of his shop for the day and said next time I come there to come when the shop opens. I though he was kidding but he was not. I have see Jim very friendly with the everyday customers and some days he is very nasty to them.He does have a personalty problem with customers. Also he should spend some time cleaning the place instead sitting all day playing with his I-PAD. I needed a smoke and I went to a place I've seen once and visited before. Come to find out it ain't there anymore. So I whipped out the google machine and it referred me to this location which gave me a warm and squishy to begin with because there is one here in Tucson where I live. Anywho. I came to this location and met a real nice man who greeted me with a warm hello and a quick what can I get you to smoke I walked into the humidor and asked for my usual when I go into any cigar shop he proceeds to tell me that they don't have my usual. I felt a big turned off like as if that's not cool. But he suggested that I try an LTD Maduro which I replied with "your the expert" so I lit my stoge and he invited me to sit on the patio with all his friends which I did.
