Stopped by on a recent trip to the Phoenix area. I wanted to escape the heat and find a cool indoor space to enjoy a stick. Had heard about the lounge from fellow BOTL back in a California lounge. (Glad I saved the name of the place in my notes). Their humidor has a huge selection and their employees were very knowledgeable. The lounge looks fantastic and the atmosphere was very chill. Watched the NBA finals with a laid-back group. I had a Liga Privada 9 and a Plascenia 149. Overall the lounge was very comfortable and the cigar prices were reasonable. I love the store. Don't get me wrong. I just hate being hovered over like I stole sometimes when I go into the humidor. I want to look at every cigar without being bothered or pushed to buy something. I did buy one box here I probably would've bought tons more. I stopped in for the first time today and had a captivating experience. I am a younger guy and have been smoking cigars for years, although due to being in my 20's, some cigar lounges are not too inviting and can come off as unwelcoming. The two gentlemen working today were very respectful and hospitable. I was welcomed immediately and even given a tour of the separate lounges they have. I smoke 10-20 boxes of cigars a year, and this place stocked many of my favorite smokes. They carry one of the best selections of Non-Cuban premium cigars in the valley. I have stopped at their peoria locations probably 10 plus times. I have brought in all of my friends as well, many of which never have smoked a cigar. I asked their manager for a few recommendations and was told that the infused cigar that I like are of shit tobacco quality. Seeing as these are the only type of cigars I can handle, this was a very off putting experience. If you plan on bringing someone new to cigar smoking stay away from this location as they don't care to help with your recommendations. read more

Probably one of the best stocked humidors I have seen, but thats not all: it is also extremely clean and laid out well. Our first year out in Arizona we sent a friend of ours who doesn't smoke cigars out on be Run 2 get fluid for lighters.. it was the last day of our trip and he came back with these crazy stories about the selection that this cigar shop had and we needed to go check it out so we all piled into our truck and went and took a look... now let me paint the picture just so you can understand my friends and I are all at least 6 ft + except for one of us. We're pretty big guys. And black men.. in the middle of Scottsdale Arizona. Once we got in we were welcomed and shown around. We explained that we were on a golf trip and we were cigar smokers and pretty much bought up about $500 worth of cigars between the eight of us. This past year was year number 7 for us... new location same great service. In fact the owner Mr Vartan himself remembers us year after year in Greece us the same way when we walk in.. "Heeeey.. it's the golf trip guys".. we appreciate the welcoming feeling. As far as its selection Ambassador Cigars has pretty much everything you need in addition to some things you really can't find anywhere else. They also allow you to order online from them which is a plus. If you are in the area they have a number of locations throughout the Scottsdale Phoenix area please go visit them. I was referred to this shop by a good friend of mine who boasted about there amazing selection, and great customer service.(from his experience ) I sent my girlfriend in to buy me a few cigars while I was at work. Quick update plate that I have been getting all my davidoffs at other Scottsdale cigar bars. Just google them they have all been better than this place. 5 davidoffs per week is 100 x 4 = 400.00 per month x 12 months = 4600.00 x 2 = 9600.00 that vartan had missed out on. Now multiply that times how many customers have left because of the attitude of the place. I'm happy spending my money elsewhere, has been wonderful. He'll probably think twice next time someone asks for info on the lounge. But then again he may not because he has an ego. No worries plenty of other cigar places. Cheers Varty! read more

The humidor is one of a kind. I met Vartan at his Peoria location but you'll find him mainly at this location. He has done an amazing job with the place. He took care of me when picking out cigars for my Father's 50th Birthday. I moved out of state and still insist of buying all my cigars for my dad through Vartan.
