Today I visited Famoso Neapolitan Pizzeria for the first time. I was quickly greeted and asked if I had ever been there. As I hadn't, the gentleman explained how their establishment works. Choose your table, where menus are waiting for you. Take note of your table number, then place your order at the counter. After that, it's a full service restaurant. Pretentious?! Not at all. I was pleasantly surprised that they serve cappuccinos, lattes, etc. plus gelato for dessert. I learned that they bring in some of their ingredients directly from Naples. Their cheese is made fresh for them each week. The pizza dough is made quite thin and placed in their high temperature oven for a mere minute and a half. It comes to you cooked to perfection! So, I waited no time at all for my meal! I ordered the Don Andreas pizza that was initially meant to only be a summer pizza, but due to its popularity is being kept on the menu through the fall. It was absolutely scrumptious!! Even the crust was delicious and not to be wasted! (They also offer gluten free pie crust.) I didn't have room for dessert, but my iced vanilla latte hit the spot and satisfied my latte craving. Delish! Apart from scrumptious food and beverages, the service was top notch! When I mentioned that I'd order my latte after I ate, the young lady asked if I wanted to pay for it with the rest of my meal. She would make it up for me afterward. It was a great suggestion and she followed through. All in all, I will definitely be returning. If you are looking for a reasonably priced lunch, take a friend along to share a pizza. You can usually find more parking behind the building near the Corner Pocket.  Admittedly, aside from their wings, I haven't had the chance to try any of their regular menu items so can't comment on those. But we've visited a handful of times on wing Wednesdays and are always pleased with the fast-paced service and flavours of their wings. My favourite picks are the Bangin' Bacon, Dill Pickle, Thai Chili, and of course, the classic Honey Garlic. I have found that on some busy nights, they've skimped out on the flavourings that we've had to scrape them from the bottom of the basket, but I'm sure the servers would be happy to bring you extra flavourings if you ask. Our most recent visit was a nice surprise as they were still decked out with their seasonal decorations; so fun!
