I recently visited this store at 6:15 pm on a Wednesday. The store hours indicate it should be open until 8pm. I arrived to find a handwritten paper sign taped to the door that they closed 2 full hours early to do inventory. I drove 40 minutes in Houston traffic only to be met with this unadvertised closure. I have previously worked in retail many years, and we never closed during business hours to do inventory. It was always done before opening or after closing. We valued our customers experience and honored their time. After calling the next closest Anthropologie store (20 minutes away) to make sure they would be open, the lady on the phone told me that yes they were open, and that they come in at 5am to do inventory. It's not ideal, but it is part of working in retail. I have done it many times myself. For what is supposed to be a high end shopping experience, this was sorely lacking. It seems from other reviews, this store has a lot to work on.

Just discovered this store has an area for bridal wear. Beautiful window treatments catch your eye as you walk into the store filled with fragrant smells and colorful garments in the store. The store is easy to find in the heart of City Centre off I10 . Make sure you make an appointment with bridal if needed as they book up quickly and will not accept any walk-in appointments. I never met an Anthropologie I didn't like. My Mom, sister, and I are addicted to this place! We love the well made clothes! They are priced a little high but nowhere near high end brands. The best thing about the clothing is they last for a long time. They have great resort and vacation wear. They also offer pretty and unique purses, shoes, jewelry, and sleep wear. I actually saw a sleep dress today that I would wear to the beach but I didn't buy it. I do like that staff is plentiful and are accommodating. They also have very nice beauty products and perfume. Their perfumes are so feminine and delicate smelling. They sell housewares that is so nice and a plethora of great smelling candles. I always get their great dessert scented candles and on occasion the smoky smelling ones. Great shop!

    Cool artwork inside the store.

I wandered in to Anthropologie on a day of window shopping. A striking red dress displayed in the window caught my eye. Immediately, I was greeted by a sales associate and a wonderful aroma! When I asked the name of the candle that was burning, the young woman told me the resulting scent was the result of several different candles burning throughout the store. Although a bit disappointed, I wasn't too surprised. This is usually the case. But, I did find the candle which released the dominant scent, Volcano. I'll be back to buy Volcano-scented lotions, candles, and anything else I can find. LOL The clothes are unique and trendy. Even though they are a bit pricey but they do look nice, in my opinion.

Worst experience ever. They refuse to process returns even the item came damaged. This is not the customer service I expect Anthropologie provides. I have reported this store making up polices and making return so difficult.

Not a fan of the store. Definitely is a trendy hotspot but have noted the clothes are of cheap materials. Polyester and acrylics.

Great hidden secret in the Memorial Area that offers cute seasonal gift items and more…read more The owner Sarah started this whimsical gift place named Iris after her great grandmother who remembers in her youth how she would pick up Iris flowers . As a homage to her, she chose to offer baby items from newborn to 24 months and some larger sizes for older kiddos as enter on the right in the store . They even offer monogramming and etching to personalize your gifts and purchases. As you walk through the spacious area to the left of the store you will find fall items, holiday items ,things that smell delicious, spices and more . As a female owned business, she even has pop-up businesses in her store to help other females have a space that may not have a brick and mortar . Check them out for their amazing customer service , great holiday gifts and smiles.

Today I decided to check this place out since I had some extra time. Iris Gifts is very much a boutique store. I was immediately greeted with a smile. I told the store associate I was just looking and we left it at that. I love not being bothered, so I am completely fine after the initial greeting/offer of help until I ask for help later. They have all the cute and festive items for the seasons, adorable clothes for children, fun jewelry, amazing candles and more! I enjoy browsing stores like this when I have some free time to get ideas for later when birthdays and/or special occasions arise. In this area of town, you will find several boutique shops, but this one is very convenient and there is plenty of parking available. Some of my favorite items are the El Arroyo collection, the fun cocktail napkins and the decorative styrofoam cups. On the higher end, they sell beautiful, lovely smelling candles (one brand in particular is $115.00 - I don't know anything about the brand, so I can't give feedback on the price - maybe it lights itself - Lol), pretty costume jewelry, home decor pieces and alluring bath items that function as both decorative and useful. I was surprised to see the reviews are not higher for this shop. It's cute, it's friendly and it is full! What's not to love?!

I'm a frequent Pottery Barn customer and have a Pottery Barn credit card. I purchased an item at the Highland Village location last week and needed to make a return. The item still had the tags attached, so I stopped by the Town & Country store to return it. The associate assisting me appeared to be new and went to get another employee. The second employee immediately asked for my receipt. I explained that I didn't have it but that my purchase should be easily accessible through my Pottery Barn account and credit card. She responded by telling me she could not help me without a receipt. I then asked if Angela, the store manager, was available because I had never experienced an issue making a return before. I was told she was conducting an interview. Even after explaining that I was a regular customer with an account and credit card, the employee continued insisting that a return could not be processed. Only after further discussion did she ask whether I had an email address associated with my account. I provided it, and within moments she was able to locate the purchase and process the return--exactly as I had originally explained could be done. What disappointed me wasn't the return itself--it was the attitude. The interaction felt rude, dismissive, and unnecessarily argumentative from the start. A simple, courteous approach would have resolved the situation in less than a minute. Customer service isn't just about processing transactions. It's about how customers are treated. Whether someone has a receipt or not, there are respectful ways to communicate and assist. As a loyal customer, I expect to be treated with professionalism and courtesy. Thankfully, the return was ultimately completed, but the experience left me wondering why something so simple had to become so unpleasant. Because of how I was treated, I will not be returning to the Town & Country location. I will continue shopping at Pottery Barn, but I will take my business to other stores where customer service is a priority.
