Lots and lots and lots of shoes! Ample parking, some great prices; open from 12-6 most days it appears. Tons of swimsuits, PJ's and clothes. I'm sure the best time to go is end of season. The difference here is these are actual brands, not made for outlet mall versions. I found many shoes I considered buying and tried on at the Galleria Dillards here today at literally a fraction of their original cost. Great condition, brand new items. I'm a happy shopper today! After visiting Dirty Dillard's (I didn't name it that, but after visiting I understand) I would like to share some tips: The place is overwhelmingly packed with clothing. Try to go with a plan of what you need. A bathing suit? Kids clothes? Dress shoes? Don't try to just look at everything because that could quite literally take an entire weekend. The dressing rooms for women only have FOUR stalls. Yes FOUR. And you are only allowed 8 items. The wait was close to 45 minutes. If you want to try on more than 8 items then head to the back of the line again. This place could really benefit from sample sale style dressing rooms. If you love Gianni Bini this is hands down an incredible selection at deeply discounted prices. There are rows and rows of dresses, pants, etc etc. There is also a really nice designer section with previous season finds. For prom dresses or evening gowns this would be well worth a visit because $500 dresses are marked down significantly, and there are plenty of sizes from 0 to 18. The shoe section is very well organized by size and color. Sam Edelmen, Adidas, and Antonio Melani abound. You cannot take shoes into the dressing rooms so I would recommend visiting the shoes once you are finished clothes shopping so you don't have to leave the shoes in a pile outside of the dressing room. There are these gray trolley baskets that you can use for your finds, but they are difficult to navigate through the packed racks and they are also not allowed in the dressing rooms. Once you have your bounty selected get ready to wait AGAIN at checkout. I think it was another forty minutes to check out. Would I visit again? Yes definitely, but I will go very early when they first open, have a more specific agenda, and not be in a hurry. I would also recommend bringing the kids snacks. Only open 12-7. This is truly clearance shopping - You will hunt, dig, and find just to see a bit of damage to the garment. With that said, when you do find a winner the price is great!! We bought the boys 10 shorts each for under $100 yes that 20 shorts! They have all sorts of housewares, clothes, bedding, shoes, and more! Service - hit and miss, but there are good people there, and if you require assistance be persistent and you'll get some assistance. The lines are long, and there are no returns. The store has a wonderful selection, but the shopping experience is frustrating. Clothes are displayed haphazardly, making it difficult to pick. After finally deciding, you face long waits because there are very few fitting rooms, and sometimes they even close them after you've waited. Since this is a final-sale, no-return store, trying items on is absolutely necessary. They need to add more fitting rooms or rethink their no-return policy. That would add to its value. read more

Came to this store to shop, it was my first time coming to this location . I had my vest off on my hand and the Dillard security told me I can't come in and try it on . So stupid it's an old vest with no tag and she said I can't try on or put anything inside the store that is not from the store . It is basically like taking off a jacket . I left the store immediately never coming back !! She refuse service without properly explaining what is the problem. If you are looking to get hassled to open a credit card, get the lights turned off on you at 6pm because they close at 7pm, and get yelled at in a fitting room line then this is the place for you. There are pieces of clothing here but it's not worth having people follow you around the store for. Also the fitting room attendant kept disappearing and when customers asked for help from a gentleman nearby who wasn't doing anything but standing around he said "no" and walked away. The line kept getting longer. Also the credit card sign up lady is really obnoxious and will not take no for an answer so if you are a people pleaser, don't come. Filthy filthy. The security guard is EXTREMELY rude, I was having a conversation with the sales ladies, she butted in with her rude comments! The bathrooms make a 1970s truck stop look elegant. If you're a Dillards customer avoid this place like the plague, its so dirty and unmaintained, it might have the plague..... run run run! read more

The only downfall to this place is how far it is especially if you live on the east side of Houston. They have so much to choose from here! Definitely more options than if you were to go to other stores in malls. The discounts are very nice and on nice items!!! The cashiers the day I went were both rude and entitled, the one who attended me demanded I give her my license to open a credit card even after repeatedly telling her I was not interested. When I paid I did cash and she did not have enough change to which then her coworker loudly said "can't they pay with a credit card". Which as someone who has worked in a retail position I would never do. After the cashier returned with my change she threw my items in a bag threw tape on it and refused to give me a receipt. This is a Dillard's clearance center. It's a bit overwhelming how much merchandise is in this store. It's closed on Mondays! Opens at noon other days. First time here we stayed about 3-4 hours and did not go through all the racks. There was a bargain sale $3 for green tag merchandise in about every department. That's mainly what we looked at! I will be back and stay the whole day. Great deals! read more

So, before my arrival, I had no idea this location was an outlet. I've never seen a Dillard's outlet store before. However, you can find some really good stuff in here but you have to willing to spend a while looking through stuff OR you have to know exactly what you want in order to get outta there at a reasonable time. That may not work for you either because the lines are ridiculous from each customer having loads of stuff!!! I got a bit frustrated with the lady checking out my merchandise. She was practically begging me to get a Dillard's credit card. After I told her a firm no the first time, she kept asking. She probably asked about it 5 times!! No means NO!! read more

It's a discount center now but it actually has a lot of items and is very well organized. I was taken a back since I grew up near this mall and this was the high end store. They built a bunch of shoe racks to help keep the shoes organized and not requiring and extra staff pulling out shoes from the back. read more

I never leave negative reviews because I always give people benefit of the doubt but something bad happens literally every single time I'm here. Today I need to return to online orders. A associate came up to me hesitantly only returned one order and then literally backed away from me saying she needed to go to lunch and left while I was still asking her to call another associate. I usually come here whenever I have time t kill. This place is a hit or miss. It gives me thrift vibes or swap meet kinda vibes. Anyways, it's best to call before coming so that you'll know the deal of the day bc it changes quite often. I've found some really great quality shoes and dresses here for a really low price. Honestly, I do not understand why people give this place such a bad rating. You have to acknowledge before coming here that it is not your typical Dillard's. It is a CLEARANCE center so of course it isn't going to be super organized like what you're used to. They're always having deals on top of their already low prices so if you want to know specifically what you can save on then just google Dillard's west oaks and it'll pop up. I haven't been to this place in such a long time but it is definitely my go to place when I need to find cute dresses/gowns for special occasions. I went there last week (11/16) and I found a gown which was originally $130 brought down to $48 and they were having a deal for an additional 65% on top of the $48! I wish this Dillard's became a clearance center when I was in high school looking for a prom dress because I would have saved so much money! They are also trying to get rid of their summer stock so every top is only $5.99 and bottoms are $7.99. Granted you have to dig and it's a hit or miss but it's well worth it considering you're getting brand new clothing for thrift store price. read more

Clearly this is part of their job, but if you ask me once, and I say no, that should be the end of it. They have to take it a step further and ask "why not, you get ?% off your purchase today." Me and my wife live in Katy and learned about this center from regular Dillard's employee when we were looking for linen pants for our beach themed wedding. This is a clearance center from all the Dillard stores in the Houston area. It is not clean, they use fans to cool the place. However the prices can't be beat anywhere. We have been probably 5 times over the past year. We went yesterday and I bought 3 linen Cremeaux brand pants that were regularly priced at $60.00 each for $10.00 each. My wife bought several Elleen Fischer pants for $160.00 that would have been regularly priced at $800.00 total. Check it out! read more

What happened? The Dillard's of West Oaks used to be a pretty good department store, but it's become a complete dump over the past several years. According to their website, this store is now a "Clearance Center". Everything is marked down, but the store is terribly unorganized and very dirty. Some of their clothes are nice, but most of them appear outdated and you'd be very lucky to find anything in the right size. If you do decide to buy something, finding someone to check you out is like searching for Bigfoot. Other than their prices, I don't know why anyone would want to shop here. read more

First; I tried using a gift card to buy something and the lady wouldn't let me. She was very rude about it too. . Then I Waited in line at customer service to return it and wasn't even acknowledged for about 10 minutes. A little reassurance would've been nice, like a "we'll be right with you." Hit or miss outlet store. This Dillard's use to be the department store but now has been converted to an outlet/clearance center. Only the first floor is in use and the second floor has been closed off. There is tons and tons of clothes. Most are all clearance items from other Dillard's stores that have not been sold so they are taken here. With that being said, most items are either hit or miss. For every one cute item you find you probably had to look through 10-15 items to get to it. But the sheer amount of volume makes it tiring to go through. They are organized at sectioning items such as the dresses section or the tops sections but the sizes can be a mess. There is just stuff everywhere in the racks. You can find a large top mixed in the small racks and small tops mixed in with the extra larges. They do have a lot of large sizes and they do have large selections of large male shirts and pants, and female tops and dresses!! They have sections for shoe, juniors, plus size, male, bras, dresses, blazers, sweaters, kids, skirts, pants, home stuff, etc. Since this is an outlet/clearance center it's a bit run down, sometimes it's hot and there's no A/C, the dressing room is gross.... Holes on the walls and smells like urine, some employees are RUDE!! They usually have promotions going on like extra 40% off on top of the clearance price and they change that every week. You can call the store to check. But when you go pay make sure the cashier is ringing up the correct price before you pay, they will not fix it after you pay. Everything is final sale, no refunds, no exchange. Sometimes I do find nice items for cheap and other times left empty handed. Good place to go look and kill time if you're up for it. read more

The store is now a Dillard's Outlet rather than the traditional Dillard's. As such, varieties of items are assorted by size making it a bit more difficult to locate specific things. Everything is deeply discounted so you are bound to find some good bargains. read more

This is a great place to find a real bargain. Be prepared to spend a lot of time here though because you will have to dig around for the best deals. It's kind of messy but they have recently tried to get things more in order. I personally find it kind of fun to dig and find a great deal! They also usually have a sale going on top of the already reduced prices. The only thing I'm a little disappointed in is their recent decline in their men's shoe selection.
